Chapter 2

 

The Second Betrayal: Kagome and Kouga

 

 

Kouga entered the caves of his wolf tribe carrying Kagome. The caves were empty at this time, which is why he brought her there. She was so obviously in distress that he did not want to make matters worse for her by exposing her to the scrutiny of others. He walked to the back of the cave and gently put her down on the brown and white furs laying there. Then he sat beside her and took her hand.

 

“Would you feel better if you talked about it?” he said. “I'm here for you Kagome, you can talk to me.”

 

Kagome sniffed and wiped her eyes with the back of her hand. Kirara slipped out of her arms and settled on the far edge of the furs to take a cat nap.

 

“Thanks for caring,” she said, “You're a good friend.”

 

“You know I always wanted to be more than a friend to you,” he said, “I love you. Don't be afraid to tell me anything.”

 

Kagome took a deep, shuddering, breath and clasped her hands in front of her.

 

“InuYasha…has been…cheating on me,” she said and gasped, “with…Kikyo.”

 

Having actually come out and sad that made Kagome start sobbing again. She folded over, the sobs ripping out of her, and hung her head. It broke Kougas heart to see her so upset. He wanted to rip that dog turd to pieces. But his first concern was right here. He reached over and picked Kagome up, cradling her in his lap. He stroked the hair out of her face, her head resting on his shoulder, and rocked her back and forth.

 

“Shhhh, shhhh,” he said soothingly, “It will be okay. You're better off without him. You were always too good for him. He doesn't deserve you.”

 

Kagome's crying slowed and then stopped. She lay quietly in his arms, letting his soothing words and actions calm her. But his words also began to have another effect on her as she thought about them. A clear, cool anger was forming combined with a desperate need to feel loved, to prove her self worth. Kouga noticed that she seemed to be feeling better. He turned to her and in a split second she was upon him, devouring his mouth in a hungry kiss. Startled at first, he jumped slightly, but her kiss was so heated he had no choice but to melt into her. She turned and straddled his lap, wrapping her legs around his hips. Slowly she began to grind against him, and that startled him enough to break the kiss.

“Kagome, what are you doing,” he said as she ran her hands over his broad shoulders, “are you sure about this?”

 

“Do you love me?” she said.

 

“Yes, you know I do.” He said.

 

“Then show me,” she said kissing him again.

 

She could feel him getting hard beneath her. They began to sweat from their hot passion, and slowly began to strip off their clothes. Soon she was naked in his lap, his throbbing erection pressed between them. She rubbed herself up against it, and he grabbed the hair at the nape of her neck and pulled her away from him enough to kiss and lick her neck, then dove for her breasts, licking her nipples and making her hiss in pleasure. Unable to take anymore, he lifted her up and drove himself inside her. She rested her hands on his shoulders as he grabbed her hips and pounded her up and down on his cock. “Kagome!” He roared as he came, thrusting himself in her and holding himself there as he pumped his seed into her.

 

“Kagome?!”

 

Kouga and Kagome looked up. Ayame was standing in the cave entrance, hands on hips, a shocked and furious look on her face.

 

“Kouga, how could you?” she hissed, “You promised you would be my mate!”

 

She stalked over to them.

 

“What does she have that I haven't got?” she said, “I'll show you I'm just as much of a woman as she is. I'm no little girl anymore.”

 

A/N: Next chapter will be a threesome. And I do know what the final pairings will be, but I'm not telling!
