Chapter Two

 

 

 

Kagome cried as she ran to the Bone Eaters Well. Inuyasha chased after her. Out of nowhere Cloud jumped at Kagome. Kagome screamed. It was too late. Cloud had her in a headlock with one hand, and his sword, transformed, in his other. His sword at Kagome's neck, he smiled evilly.

“Put her down!!” Inuyasha yelled at Cloud as he charged.

“And ruin the fun? I don't think so. Oh, and take another step and you can kiss your little girlfriend good-bye.” Both Kagome and Inuyasha blushed at this.

Inuyasha halted. “Girlfriend!?!??!” Inuyasha yelled as he blushed, “She's… She's just a mortal I use to find the jewel shards. Nothing more!!”

A tear fell from Kagome's eye. The words rang in her head. `Just a mortal to trace the jewel shards' is that all she was? Some mortal used to trace the jewel shards? Well that's the last time she traced anything for him. After this that was it.

Inuyasha didn't know what to do. He couldn't use the Wind Scar, or he would risk losing Kagome. And if he charged, Cloud said that he would kill Kagome. Inuyasha was scared.

“Hiraikotsu!!” A female voice yelled as a giant boomerang flew towards Cloud.

Cloud blocked the boomerang but his guard was down. This was Inuyasha's chance. “Blades of Blood!!!!!” Inuyasha threw about 5 or 6 blades made of blood at Cloud.

The blades blinded Cloud and Kagome ran. She grabbed her bow. “Purifying Arrow!!!” Kagome yelled as she fired an arrow engulfed in a pinkish light.

Cloud just barely blocked. He smiled and sent a tornado at Inuyasha and co. Cloud had practiced. He was so much better now than last time they met.

“Wind Scar!!!” Inuyasha yelled as he sent the Wind Scar at Cloud.

Cloud smiled as his tornado absorbed the Wind Scar and headed for Inuyasha. He had no idea what he had in store.

“Backlash Wave!!!!!!” Inuyasha yelled as he flung his sword through the tornado, and reversing the attack.

Cloud didn't know what Inuyasha was doing so he watched. His tornado was reversed and sent back with about twice the power. Cloud gasped. He sheathed his sword and ran.

This was twice. Another reason to get back at them. One day. They would pay. But until then, Cloud would push himself farther than he ever had before. He would make plans for anything that came his way. He wanted to get back at Inuyasha. He would slaughter them all… One day…
