Chapter 3: Omi

She couldn't believe it. A thosand different memories flashed through her eyes when he spoke her name. Omi, her Omi.

While she was in shock Omi lifted himself off of her and helped her up. Kagome was brought out of her tranze when she heard Inuyasha growl.

"Get your fucking hands off of her!"he shouted while drawing Tetsaiga and getting in a fighting stance.

She realized that Inuyasha was about to attack.

"Inuyasha stop"

"What?"

"You heard me!"she turned towards him.

"But..."

"No but's. I know him."

"Yeah, she knows me" Omi said while wrapping his arms around her. He smirked when Inuyasha growled.

Kagome looked down and noticed his arms. She slapped his arms away.

"Oh, come on. I haven't seen my Kagome for a while and this is how I get treated. Hmmpphh."

He turned away from her and crossed his arms against his chest.

When she touched his arm he smirked. He turned around and brung her into a hug.

Inuyasha watched with wide eyes as the Omi guy brung Kagome into a hug. How dare he? And how can he say my Kagome, she is mine. Where did that come from?

He stopped thinking when he saw that they were still hugging. Anger overcame his reason.

"Hey, you get off of Kagome! Now!"

He got more pissed off when they weren't listening to him and were whispering something to each other. He listened.

"I missed you" Omi said against her hair.

"I know, so did I" she replied against his chest.

"Why did you have to leave me?"

"I'm sorry but...."

"It's okay we can talk about it later. It's not good to talk about these things in front of others."he looked at Inuyasha and released her.

"What do you mean by not in front of others and who the hell are you?"Inuyasha yelled.

"My name is Omi"he smirked while looked at Kagome,"and I am her former lover."

Inuyasha and Kagome's eyes bulged out.

"WHAT!"they both yelled.

"You heard me. Me and Kagome."

"What are you talking about. What is he talking about Kagome."

"Umm. He's lying. I would never with him."

"Oh, but that's a lie. Remember when I..."he whispered the rest into Kagome's ear.

Kagome blushed a birght red.

"That was one night. I needed comfort and you were there nothing else, buddy."

"Yeah, sure. If you call it that."

He was about to say something else when he was tackled by Inuyasha.

"You bastard!"

Inuyasha swung at him but Omi dodged it. Omi then quickly kicked him if the ribs. The fight was on.

Kagome watched from the side lines and didn't notice what was happening. She was off in her own world. She was remembering all of the good times with Omi.

When they first met when she was about three years old he didn't act like she was weird or a vile creature. She was just Kagome. They were friends from then on. They would do everything together from then on. They were inseperable. Where you found one you find the other. Even though there was that one night when they were together. They decided to put that behind them and just stay friends.

She looked at him and noticed he still looked like the Omi she remembered. He had long blond hair that reached his knees. He had those beautiful green eyes and that smirk of his that was always placed on his face.

He was as tall as Sesshoumaru. And was muscular but not really, really muscular. He was wearing clothes that would suit a lord. They also looked like Sesshoumaru but they were black. And they didn't have that armor in the front. He chose black because he said it didn't stain that much as white clothes. Even though when he wore white he looked extremelly handsome.

His face also looked the same but it had a more older look to it. More lean than boyish like Inuyasha's sometimes looked.

Kagome stopped thinking about the past when she noticed what was happening in front of her. Inuyasha and Omi were still going at it. Omi had a couple of cuts on his face and a wound on his stomach. And Inuyasha only had three slashes on his back that weren't even bleeding.

If she didn't stop them they were going to kill each other.

"Inuyasha!"

Both of them stopped and looked at her.

"What?"he yelled.

"Sit!"

Omi was stunned when Inuyasha's head suddenly made contact with the ground and all he could do was start laughing.

When Kagome saw him laughing his head off she got mad.

"And you!"she pointed at him. He instantly stopped laughing.

"Yes"

"What the hell are you laughing about?"

About this time Inuyasha peeled himself off of the floor and smirked. This Omi guy was certainly going to get it. He sat up and looked at the on coming scene.

"Umm,"he didn't know what to say.

"That's all you can say."

"yeah"

She went on for the next couple of minutes in silence. They awaited her answer. When she said it they both were suprised.

"Okay."
