Ano - um/well
Arigatou - thank you
Onna - woman
Okaa-san - mother
`Kaa-san - mom; less formal way of saying mother.
Otou-san - father
`Tou-san - dad; less formal way of saying father.
Onee-chan - older sister
Omouto - older brother
Aniue - older brother
Ji-chan - grandpa
Baka - idiot/stupid
Youkai - demon
Hai - yes/yeah
Kuso - shit
Nani - what
Sama - suffix used to address someone that you have great respect for; or that is a higher rank that you
Kitsune - fox demon
Ningen - human
Inu - dog
Tai - lord
Chan - suffix used for very good friend
San - suffix used to address someone you barely know
Kun - suffix used for best guy friend
Ohayo - good morning
Ookami - wolf
Usagi - rabbit

Gakuseifuku - School uniform

Happi - short overcoat or robe
Bunkin-takashimada - Traditional upswept Japanese hair style.
Furisode - Long-sleeved kimono worn by unmarried women.
Kanzashi - beautiful gold combs and hair accessories.
Kuro-monstsuki - The ceremonial kimono for men meaning "black-with the family crest."
Uchikake - Full length outer robe worn by noble ladies on formal occasions in the past. In modern times, it is part of the traditional bridal costume.

Ren'ai suru - Love (between man and woman)
Torii - Shrine gate
Honto ni sumimasen - I'm very sorry
Obaa-chan - Grandmother, Older woman
Ofuda - Charm
Tori-youkai - Bird-youkai
Kon'ban'wa - Good evening
Hanyou - Half-demon, Half-human
Haori - Top Shirt/Coat
Hayaku - Hurry
Kidoban - Gatekeeper
Furo - bath
Tatami - straw
Yowai - Youkai Lord
Yui-no - Traditional pre-wedding gift giving between the bride-to-be and the bridegroom-to-be.
Ayakashi - A sort of youkai, more like a god, who controlled people, mostly women, by implanting an egg inside the victim's stomach.
Hakama - Pleated pants
Daijoubou ja nai - I'm not okay
Ousama - King
