Chapter 3

"kagome?" said a familiar voice. She turns around to see that it was Gentu. She turned back to the sacred tree wishing that things could be different. "Kagome, I know you don't really want to do this, and I am sorry for it." He sits down next to her and saw her tears falling onto the soil. There was a long pause, "our parents went down to the bank, so you can keep your shrine now." Another pause "I am trying as hard as I can to keep this wedding from taking place." He turned to Kagome who had just looked up and met his gaze.

"Thank you," another pause, "but it's the right thing to do. My family needs help and this is the only thing that I can do to help them." Her tears started to fall more rapidly now. He reached his arms out and grabbed Kagome bringing her in. "I wont let this wedding take place, Its not right to force two people together that don't belong." He said as her tears soaked his shirt. Kagome welcomed the embraced, he was the only person that seemed to feel her pain. He wanted her to be happy, and that meant a lot to her.

Just then, across the way, inu yasha just popped his head out of the well to see this embrace. He couldn't take his eyes off them.

Kagome stood up and tried to walk away but Gentu grabbed her and pulled her back down. "ahh," she screamed as she tried to get up again. Inu Yasha jumped up and ran to her. He got right between them and started to growl. The boy just stared at him in disbelief.

"You must be inu Yasha." he said with a smile.

"Huh?" inu Yasha replied.

"Kagome told me all about you. It's an honor." He grabbed inu yashas hand and started to shake it.

"uuuhhh, rrriggghhtt." He turned to Kagome who was now smiling, and whispered, "all right what's going on."

A few minute later they were all in kagomes room. Gentu sat on kagome's chair next to her desk. Kagome walked over and sat on her bed, all the way back so her back was against the wall. Inu Yasha sat almost in front of kagome as if he was guarding her. She didn't mind.

"Inu Yasha, I have to intention of marring kagome." Gentu said with a smile. Inu Yasha look surprised, yet happy. "As a matter of fact I am trying to think of things that would prevent it, but noting comes to mind."

"I have an idea." kagome said out loud. They look at her "we can say we want an American wedding. My aunt wont go for it. She'd rather break the marriage then have that. She's into tradition." They all began to smile when they heard a knocking at the door downstairs.

"Good morning dear." Said her aunt to kagomes mom.

"Oh good" said Gentu. He grabbed Kagomes hand "come on kagome. We must tell her. Inu Yasha stay here!" They ran out of the room and down the stairs. Inu yasha sat next to the door so that he could hear every word. "Good morning Aunt," They stopped right in front of her. "We just wanted to thank you for arranging this, and further more would ask that if it could be an American wedding."

"An American wedding?" asked her aunt looking puzzled. "Well if that is what you want." She smiled. Both kagome and gentu's jaws dropped.

She's going for it, but that can't be…thought Gentu

Oh now what am I going to do…kagome thought, she could feel the tears coming.

"Ok then, its settles. The wedding begins tomorrow at 10am. Kagome come with me, we have to fit you for your wedding dress." She grabs kagome and leads her outside. Gentu stood there not knowing what to do. He turns and runs upstairs. He opens to door to see inu yasha missing. There was a hole in the closet door, the pieces were scattered everywhere.

"This can't be happening." He pauses trying to think of another plan…"wait, that'll work!" he runs off to talk to find his parents.

Back in the feudal area, Inu Yasha sat next to the well staring down to the bottom. Kagome's never coming back. What am I going to do, I can't live without her. Please be happy kagome. The image of those two running to each other and kissing ran through his head. Sango, Miroku, and shippo watched from a far. Sango started to cry when she saw a single tear role down inu yasha's face. He wiped it away as fast as he could. Take care of my Kagome for me…he thought…I know you could make her happy. Much happier than I ever could. He looked up, I never told her how I feel. He jumped up and into the well.

It was late. Kagome just laid there in her bed starring at the ceiling. She knew that there was nothing that she could do, she had to get married. She rolled over onto already soaked pillow. She had been crying for hours. Suddenly she heard the window open. She looked up with her red puffy eyes. "inu yasha?" she wept.

"Kagome…I have to tell you something." He whispered. Before he could get another word in she ran to him and wrapped he arms around him and cried. "Kagome… I…" he wrapped his arms around her. He reached down and wiped the tears from her face. "Please don't cry, I can't bare seeing you cry." He wrapped his arms around her again. There was nothing she could do but cry. "kagome, I wanted to tell you that I..uh…I will always be here to protect you. Now that you can keep the shrine and the well I will be over everyday watching over you. I can do that at least."

"inu yasha, you promise…you'll always protect me."

"Yes, I can't bare the thought of anything happening to you…I love you kagome."

Kagome smiles as inu yasha starts to tremble "I love you to inu yasha."

A few moments went by, just holding each other, until she reached up and kissed him. "Please take me to your time…take me away from here. I want to be with you…" she whispered. Inu Yasha's heart stopped…

Did she just say that?…she wants to be with me?… Then his eyes glazed over as he said something that he never thought he could bring himself to say. "No kagome…you need to be here with your family…you'll always have me" he began to cry, she loosened up her grip and tried to pull away but he wouldn't let her… "I have been thinking and I will try everything to stop this wedding." She stopped crying. For some reason she believe him. She knew he wouldn't let anybody else have her.

"inu yasha stay with me tonight" she begged. He just smiled and looked deeply in her eyes. She pulled her shirt over her head, revealing her naked body. Inu Yasha blushed.

"kagome" she said in a squeaking voice, Before he could get another work in she kissed him again. He just stood there; Confused, and shaking. She's kissing me, she has no shirt on…she's kissing me with no shirt on. What do I do? Will she like it? She pulled away and smiled.

"Come inu yasha." She took his hand and brought him to her bed. She laid down and slid to the wall giving him room to lay next to her. He just stood there wide eye scared out of his mind. She finally smiled and pulled him down onto the bed. He laid there while she rested her head on his chest. She then untied his kimono taking it from his body and tossing it to the floor. Then did the same with the shirt underneath. She laid back down on his chest, moving her fingers in little pattern around his chest. He grabbed her hand pulled it up to his mouth and gently kissed it. He pulled her up to him and kissed her patiently on the lips. She moved her hands to his back pressing him up against her even more.

"What do you want me to do kagome..." he asked scared of her reaction.

"Everything…there isn't anything you can I wouldn't like." She kissed him again. He moved his hands to her sides and rolled on top of her. He continued to kiss her. He gently moved his fingers up and down her arms and then her stomach. He broke the kiss and just looked deeply into her eyes. She could tell that he was nervous because he was wildly shaking. He continued to gently move his fingers amongst her skin. She smiled and closed her eyes just letting the feeling of pleasure take her over. He could smell her arousal, which drove him closer to the edge. He wanted her but did want to ruin this perfect moment, not to mention he wasn't really sure what to do. All he knew was that he loved to touch her skin. He looked down as her shorts, wishing that they weren't there. He moved down so he could get a good handle on then and pulled them down. He then noticed that she wasn't wearing any underwear; just the shorts. Sill between her legs he gazes at where the strong smell was coming from. He just sat there a minute just breathing in the wonderful smell. Every second that past he was pushed closer and closer to the edge. Kagome, who had also started to shake, was sure that this is what she wanted but nervous that he didn't like what he saw, not to mention that fact that she didn't know what to do. All these things started to run through her head; ideas that she was too afraid to try.

Inu yasha placed the side of his face on her stomach and just started to breathe heavily. He was hardly able to contain himself.

"inu yasha" she whispered. "I'm ready" he looked at her, who was now smiling.

"Are you sure kagome" he looked nervous, half wanting her to say no to prevent any embarrassment that he knew he would bring upon him self.

"I wont give my first time to somebody I don't love." she replied as she closed her eyes and laid back, waiting for inu yasha to make his next move. He sat up and removed any other article of clothing was left on him. Then positioned him self over kagome. She opened her eyes and stared directly into his. He positioned his member ready for her signal. "Inu Yasha…I love you." She whispered as she kissed him. That was it, he slowly pushed in. "oww…" right after came a quick moan.

"kagome, what's wrong? Are you ok?"

"im fine, inu yasha…please don't stop" she moaned. Her actions were bringing out the demand part of him. He could feel himself being taken over, but fought it back. He moved in a slow rhythm. Listening to every sound she made and watching her face, that was full of pleasure. She opened her eyes and looked right into his once again. They never broke eye contact and he never speeding up.

He could feel her tense up, she moaned out his named driving him over the edge. He kissed her passionately. He could feel something strange happening…it felt so good as it continued to grow, suddenly it over came his body as he growled. He dug his claws into her bed by her head as he pushed in as far as he could. She moaned in delight.

He opened his eyes to see kagome sweat covered and breathing heavily. He kissed her again. "I love you Kagome"

"I love you too inu yasha" she curled up against his chest as he held her tightly. He wanted her to be his forever, to always be by his side, but she was to be given to somebody else. He tried to shake that thought from his mind but he couldn't. He tightened his hold on her.

I love you kagome…he whispered.

They fell sleep in each others arms knowing that it was there last night together….
