"I'll kill her, I swear!"
Ever since that girl had killed Kagome, InuYasha had been raging on about how he would find her. She was given a memorial in the village and a funeral in her time. Everyone thought she died of some tragic, rare disease.
Poor Sango had been a wreck since her death, and Miroku ended up putting aside all of his perverted wants to comfort her as much as he could. This left InuYasha on his own to ramble in the forest.

The crackling of a fire faintly began to grow. Ina and Kurobara sat quietly around the tiny campfire.
“We are going to find the second son next, ne Kuro-chan?” Kurobara gave a small nod
as she stared into the orange flames.
 * * *
The small campfire had died down and was only a small pile of ashes now. It was the only trace that people had been there.
“Come on, Ina,” Kurobara said, standing up. Ina nodded, following her lead.
They walked through the morning forest. It was barely past dawn and most creatures were still in a restful sleep.
“He is around here,” With that, Kurobara quietly jumped into an oak tree, landing on a thick branch. Ina followed, sitting down, with her legs swinging over the edge innocently.
Within a few moments, four figures walked past them. One was a large dragon-like demon, carrying a small human girl and an imp-like demon. The dragon was following behind a tall dog demon with long silver hair. Ina glanced over at Kuro, who nodded.
“Uh, Kuro-chan, before you go and seek revenge on his life and everything, I'd just like to point out that he is H-O-T sizzlin' hot! Don't you agree, Kuro? …Kuro?” Ina glanced over to see that Kuro had left. Frowning, she looked over to the male demon again, only to see him looking over in her direction and raise a sleek eyebrow before continuing to walk on.
“Ina, you idiot… He clearly heard you,” Kurobara had returned, and was standing beside her again, giving her the “you're-so-stupid-sometimes-it-makes-me-wonder-why-I-freed-you” look.
“Anyways, you should enjoy the view before I make a bloody carcass out of him.”
“Nani!? But, he is SO pretty!!” Ina pouted slightly, Kurobara just shrugged. Ina frowned, and sighed, looking to where the demon had been before.
“Hey…Kuro-chan. Maybe I should take him on instead, ya know, `cause he is a full demon…” This only got a glare out of Kuro, “No, it's not cause you're half, I mean, like, uh, he had a really powerful aura…!”
“You don't think I could handle it?”
“NO! I mean, just...” She sighed, Kurobara muttered something under her breath.
 “Hmm?”
“You're such a… a... a fan girl!” Smirking, Kurobara leaped off through the trees.
“Am not!!” Ina's tail twitched slightly as she sped after her friend. `I'm just slightly…Love struck?'
Ina caught up with the demon before Kurobara did, still mad about the fan girl comment. She drew the sword at her side and cut his path with a giant blue energy strike from the crafted blade.

The male demon stopped boredly. His imp fell off the dragon in pure shock.

“I, Ina, challenge you, Sesshomaru, to a duel.” `Even though he's hot, he's still the enemy.'
“Hn. I accept. You're a fool to think you can beat this Sesshomaru,” Sesshomaru replied, drawing his own blade. The dragon, the human girl, and the ugly little imp hid in the trees to stay out of the way. Kurobara got there and tried to attack Sesshomaru from behind. Ina watched.

Sesshomaru's sword moved in a blur to block Kurobara's staff. Ina's blade glinted in the early morning light. Her bright blue gaze watched Sesshomaru intently as he slashed so that Kurobara landed hard against a tree.

Ina looked at the ground, marking the distance between herself and Sesshomaru. She measured how many steps she would need. Sesshomaru began to charge at her, giving her little time to react. Ina twirled her sword in her hand, putting it in a favorable grasp before countering the sword.

Sesshomaru gained a devilish smirk as an energy blast hit Ina directly. Ina staggered backwards then dashed around Sesshomaru, doing flips and pivots at different speeds to form an unpredictable pattern.

Sesshomaru felt many deep wounds form on his body as Ina's sword stabbed into him. Ina stilled her sword and her arm shook as she saw that the human girl stood protectively in front of Sesshomaru.

“Leave Sesshomaru-sama alone!” The girl shouted as Sesshomaru pulled her out of the way shouting, “Rin, stop!”

Ina sheathed her sword as another energy blast hit her into a tree. She got up and walked over to Kuro, who had -fortunately- lost consciousness. She glanced at Sesshomaru. “Thank the girl. Otherwise, I would have hurt you more seriously.” With that, Ina decided to support Kuro away, for Kurobara would be utterly pissed when she came too.

Sesshomaru got on top of the dragon's back, his legs badly wounded so he couldn't walk far if at all. He pulled Rin and the imp on as well, staring in the direction that Ina had left. `She has potential…'
