“I AIN'T GIVING YOU A WEEK AWAY!” Snarled the furious Hanyou who, as per usual when fighting with Kagome about going home, sat crossed legged on the ground while Kagome glared at him.

She'd finally told them that she would be going on a trip, and needed time away from the Feudal Era. And now, of course, Inuyasha was pitching a royal hissy fit over it. You'd think I was asking him to give up the Tetsuigia or something! She grumbled to herself as she gave the Hanyou the evil eye.

“IT'S NOT LIKE I'M GOING ANYWHERE NARAKU CAN REACH ME! IT'S JUST ONE WEEK! I'VE EARNED THIS BREAK YOU SUBBORN JERK! WE ALL HAVE! I'M GOING AND THERE'S NOTHING YOU CAN DO TO STOP ME!” The irate Miko yelled back, causing Inuyasha to flatten his sensitive ears. Miroku broke in, the calm voice of sanity during one of these epic fights.

“Lady Kagome's right. We all need a rest from our traveling.” He stated wisely, his arm in a sling thanks to the latest of Naraku's failed attempts at their lives.

“GRRRRR.” The Hanyou growled, causing the monk to put his sandal to the back of his head.

“Stop being such a stubborn fool. Kagome's right and you know it.”

“We all need a break right now Inuyasha.” Piped up Sango, stroking her fire cat. Kirara let out a mew of agreement from the youkai-exterminator's lap. The little Kitsune felt he ought put in his three cents as well.

“Yeah! Don't be so stubborn!” Added Shippou, promptly ducking to avoid a pummeling. Inuyasha growled, but it was five against one.

“Alright fine. A week. But you better be back here on time!” He snarled, looking in every direction but the young Miko from the future. Kagome let out a whoop.

“This is going to be the best trip ever! I can't wait to see the British Museum."

“What's a `British?' ” inquired Miroku.

“What's a Museum?” Asked Shippou. Kagome sweat-dropped.

“British are a kind of people. They live really far away, in England, which is where I'm going. And a museum is where things are put on display for people to see.” Kagome explained. Inuyasha's snow white ears twitched for a moment.

“It'll be great! I'll bring you guys back lots of pictures. And I'll be taking the jewel shard with me so there's no need to-“

“WHAT?! NO CHANCE IN ALL SEVEN HELLS ARE YOU TAKING THE JEWEL SHARDS-”

“Well I can't exactly leave them at home while I'm gone for a week, now can I?” Kagome snarled back.

“Leave them with me then!”

“I'm the only one who can purify them. Not a chance.” Kagome snapped, growing more and more irritated by the second as she and Inuyasha faced off.

“Well, you're not going to some weird place with them alone!”

“Alight then” Kagome said, a little too calmly, “what do you suggest we do, because I'm not passing up this trip!” Inuyasha snorted.

“I'm coming with you.”
