Something New

Rin hummed on the way to the hospital, she couldn't wait to tell Sesshoumaru what happened at school. She could just imagine his reaction once she told him she had to see a school counselor. No doubt that when he came back he would have to see the same counselor. Stopping at the stoplight something caught her attention. A music store with the words Foreign Sounds written on the front of it. An idea peaked in her head and she just couldn't resist.

 

Rin entered the store and looked around astonished at the versatility. The walls were covered with posters of foreign musicians. Some she could recognize, the rest was a mystery. The store was fairly small and only had six rows of cds. Everything else around was posters and other imported goods like band T-shirts and videos. It didn't take long for her to find the Japanese section and she searched for Sesshoumaru's favorite band Dir En Grey.

 

A voice interrupted her search and reminded her of all the times she went to a seven eleven.

“Hello young lady, how are you doing today?”

“I'm fine…” Rin looked down at his name tag, “Ben?”

“Yes that is my name.”

Rin nodded her head and looked towards the Japanese section, “By any chance do you have any Dir En Grey?”

“Oh I think so.” He scratched his nose as he approached the row. “You must be a very loyal fan.”

“No, but my boyfriend is.”

“And what about you? Who is your favorite artist?”

“I like Hikaru, Bonnie Pink, ya know.”

“I see, well you are in luck. I have Dir En Grey's last cd and the all of Hikaru's cds.,”

“Can I see them?”

“Sure, here's the Dir En Grey.” He handed the product to her, “And over there is the Hikaru section.”

“Thanks.”

Ben nodded and headed towards the register. “When you are ready I'll be right here.”

Rin frowned a bit and couldn't help but feel like he was saying `Don't steal anything because I'm watching you.

 

Rin turned back to the Hikaru section and browsed. She did indeed have all of the artist's albums but maybe there had been one she didn't get. Rin's search halted when her eyes landed on a single. She couldn't believe what she had stumbled upon. She picked up the light case and read the title of the song. `In My Room' She smiled, that was the perfect song. And even though she already had it at home, she was going to buy it and play for Sesshoumaru. She began to giggle imagining him with a sickening look on his face. She turned to Ben and held up the two cds.

 

“I think I'm going to buy these.”

“Good choice ma'am.”

 

Rin waltzed back to her car. Not only had she got the two cds, but she picked up a cd player with Gackt on the top of it. It looked like the kind of thing that a Japanese teenage girl would get. Rin shrugged and put everything into the passenger seat of her car. On the way to the hospital she had stuck her new cd into the cd player and listened to the song. It fit her like a glove. It made her feel warm deep inside her chest, and before she knew it she had arrived at the hospital. She smiled to herself and popped the cd out of her player and took the rest of her treasure inside.

 

“I hope you make him feel better.” The nurse smiled with uncertainty as she took Rin to Sesshoumaru's room.

“Has he been acting like an ass?” Rin smiled

“I…I think he's uncomfortable.”

Rin nodded and laughed, “It's not that. He's an asshole all the time, I promise you.”

The nurse laughed and then quickly placed her hand over her mouth. “I'm so sorry.”

“It's ok.” Rin whispered, “Thank you so much though.”

The nurse nodded and then made her way to the elevator.

Rin peaked her head through the door and almost fell over laughing. She had to quickly close the door and have a private laugh riot, holding her mouth shut.

 

“Who is it?!” Sesshoumaru shouted angrily from the other side of the door.

Rin opened the door and smiled with a sheepish grin on her face. “I didn't know you could knit.”

Sesshoumaru frowned and dropped his knitting on his lap. “It keeps me busy.” He looked away.

It was obvious to Rin that this hurt his oh so great male pride. The Great Sesshoumaru: Too cool for words: Taisho had been caught knitting by no one else but his girlfriend.

“Don't act like that. I think it's cute.” Rin pursed her lips and kissed at him.

Sesshoumaru frowned and crossed his arms. “Shouldn't you be at school?”

“Ouch, I thought you'd like to see me.”

Sesshoumaru let out a sigh, “Yes.”

“Well then I'm here. And I promise to keep your Martha Stewart secret between us.” Rin reached down and pinched Sesshoumaru's cheek.

He quickly swiped her hand away and gave her a stern look.

“Fine, be that way. But I have some real funny news for you.”

“Really? Intrigue me then.”

“I have to start seeing a school counselor.”

“For what?”

“They, as in the principle and staff, think I might be shaken from your incident.”

“Humph.” Sesshoumaru smirked

“I have to admit I was worried. But you're not my first.”

“What?” Sesshoumaru frowned with confusion

“Back in Chicago, niggas got shot on da regula.” Rin shrugged.

Sesshoumaru chuckled and shook his head. “I bet.”

“Anyway, I brought you a present.”

“I'd like to say this sounds promising but knowing you it might just be new clothes. I'm sure you can't wait to dress me up in more Sean Jean and South Pole.”

Rin's mouth dropped open and she gave his a good pop in the back of his head.

“Just because you hurt don't mean you can talk ta me like dat! Keep fuckin' wit me and you'll be in dis bitch longer dan ya think!”

Sesshoumaru smiled with a childish gleam in his eyes. It seemed that pissing Rin off made him feel better, and the smile was only adding fuel to her fire.

“This is a hospital Rin. Didn't you see the sign that said leave your inner negro at the door?” He chuckled

Rin sneered and was about to pop him again before she realized what he was doing.

“Aight.” Rin nodded, “I see what y a up to.”

“Just like when I first found out about you.”

“Yeah, but ya betta watch what ya say. I'll slap da taste out cha mouth and dare you fuck wit da flava.”

Sesshoumaru's mouth fell open and laughed followed a close second. “Now that's a good one. I might want to use that some day.”

“My friend Janet's mom used ta say dat all da time.”

“Well I certainly like that one. Now, you said something about a present.”

“Oh now ya happy.” Rin shook her head and pulled everything out her bag. She handed Sesshoumaru the Dir En Grey cd and watched his eyes widen with surprise.

“I know you probably already have it, but I thought it would be nice to listen to some music while you're here.”

“Hai, Arigatou.” Sesshoumaru smiled looking up at Rin with appreciation.

“Also, I brought one of my favorite songs for you to listen to.”

“Really now?”

“Yeah, I know Hikaru Utada doesn't make your kind of music…but this song is special.”

“Alright.” Sesshoumaru nodded, “Let's hear it.”

“I'll play it low so we don't disturb the other patients.”

Rin plugged the cd player in and put in her cd. As the song played, it gave a calm loving feel to the atmosphere. Rin began to sing with the song swaying from side to side.

Rin winked at Sesshoumaru and walked over to him placing a chaste kiss on his lips.

 

“Sound family?” Rin ran her fingers through his hair.

He smiled softly and pulled her in for a more passionate kiss as the chorus ended. Rin had to resist the aching that was oozing down into her groin area. All she wanted to do was hop into the bed with Sesshoumaru and make love. Usually he didn't affect her on that level. But with the recent incident and his slight absence from her life, she couldn't help but want to be close to him on the highest level.

 

As song ended Sesshoumaru set his knitting to the side and pulled Rin into his lap.

“I definitely owe you one for this.”

“Now that's something I've never heard from you.”

Sesshoumaru smiled and slid his arms around her, “I think you won the bet.”

Rin frowned, “What?”

“The bet we started when this whole thing began.”

“Oh that. Don't worry about it. I just wanted to prove a point.”

“I know, that's why I'm not going to pay you.”

“What?!” Rin pulled away from him with a frown.

“I'm enough payment don't you think.”

Rin chuckled and shook her head, “You may be priceless to some but a deal is a deal. I want dat cash money.”

“You've watched way too much Yo Mamma.”

Rin laughed hearing Sesshoumaru pronounce the show's title. “I guess I can let you slide this time. But next time I expect payment or I'm breaking fingers.”

 

Rin spent another hour with Sesshoumaru and finally decided it was time to leave. She kissed Sesshoumaru goodbye and set the cd player close to him so he could play his music. She felt a little sad leaving but he would be out of the hospital tomorrow. Besides, she had to make a visit to Moc's to tell them he's okay and all the other so called juicy gossip of her life.

 

The next day she woke with a vicious need to hurry. Even though she didn't know what time Sesshoumaru would be returning. She wanted to get to school quickly, just in case he showed up this morning. Rin rushed to her closet and pulled on her uniform clumsily and threw her hair into a sloppy pony tail. Had she not passed a mirror on her way out of her room, she wouldn't have known she looked like she slept in her school clothes. She stopped and took a breath. Come on Rin, it's not like you're not going to see him at all today. Quit acting like a love struck teenage girl. But that was the sad reality of it all. She was love struck and there was nothing her mind could say to her heart to change it. Rin relaxed and straighten her clothing and her hair. She could at least look decent when he saw her.

 

An hour later Rin pulled into the school parking lot feeling like she was late. Although she had twenty minutes till class started, she wanted to get to Sesshoumaru before his groupies and admirers did. That is if he was there, for all she knew he might not have been released from the hospital yet. She climbed out her car and made a bee line to his locker.

 

As she entered the school she realized that everyone was doing their usual thing and there wasn't any kind of crowd or unusual looks her way. Obviously Sesshoumaru hadn't made his appearance, therefore she opted to find his younger brother and procure some info from him. It didn't take long for Rin to find Inuyasha. He was at his locker talking to Kagome and rest of their friends.

 

“Hey Rin.” Kagome waved with a big smile plastered on her face.

“Hey, Inuyasha when is Sesshoumaru coming?” Rin immediately asked.

Inuyasha's right eyebrow hiked itself up and he smiled, “Someone sounds lovesick.”

Rin frowned and crossed her arms, “Don't be a jackass.”

“He's at home resting. The doctor told him it would be best to take the day off and come to school tomorrow. Don't feel bad, he looked just as unhappy as you do now.”

Rin was took back a bit. She always tried her best not to let her weakness leak through, but she guest it was obvious to everyone that she had fallen for the cold silver haired god.

“I guess I can pop by after school and see how he's doing.” Rin shrugged

Inuyasha chuckled and shook his head, “If he wasn't okay he would still be in the hospital don't cha think?”

“Shut Inuyasha.” Kagome rolled her eyes, “I think it's great that you two care about each other. I didn't think that Sesshoumaru even had a heart that would allow him feel for someone else.”

“Neither did I. But that's when I first met him. He certainly has a lot of surprises.” Rin began to giggle thinking about his knitting.

Kagome and the others looked at her in confusion. Rin just shrugged and laughed, “I promised not to tell.”

“Tell what?” Kagome frowned

“This sounds like it might be good.” Miroku smiled

“I can't, um, I gotta get to class.”

“Whoa, wait a second.” Kagome caught Rin's shoulder, “I gotta hear this.”

“Maybe some other time.” Rin started to laugh

 

There had been days when the school day seemed to drag on but this day was just ridiculous. Rin started to entertain the idea of ditching the rest of the day. But the last thing she wanted to do was seem too desperate, going to his house after school would be enough. But the gang kept her entertained until the end of the day. As soon as the last bell rang she raced out to her car and didn't even bother to chit chat, say hi, or kiss my ass to her friends. She didn't even bother to go home to change her clothes. She immediately went to Sesshoumaru's house with only him on her mind.

 

When she finally made it to the Taisho mansion she didn't even have to push the com. The gates opened and Jaken was waiting at the door for her.

“Master Sesshoumaru said that you would be here right after school.”

Rin frowned, Sesshoumaru knew exactly what she was going to do and it made her feel vulnerable. But on the flipside she was happy that he knew she cared so much about him.

“He's waiting for in his room.” Jaken said dully

Rin nodded and thanked the little man as she walked inside. Rin practically sprinted up the stairs, she couldn't wait to see Sesshoumaru so she could hold and kiss him.

 

Throwing open his bedroom door Rin was astonished by what met her there. The curtains had been drawn so the room was pitch black except for lighting that was provided by scented candles. Her mouth hung open as she spotted the rose petal that adorned Sesshoumaru's bed.

“So I take it that you're impressed?”

Rin turned to her left as Sesshoumaru approached her with a glass of champagne.

“Very.” Rin blinked trying to take the surprise away. “What's all this for?”

“Well, for one I'm happy to be home. Also, I told you I owed you one.”

Rin smiled as she sipped her drink. “Well you certainly out did my cd thing.”

“It meant a lot to me that you did that for me. I just want to show you that I appreciate it.” Sesshoumaru walked over to his desk and removed his shirt. Rin could see that his shoulder was still wrapped up.

“I hope you're not trying to do what I think you are.” Rin frowned walking closer to inspect him.

Sesshoumaru chuckled and pulled her close to him. “I'm more ok than you think.” He began to remove Rin's shirt. “You know that song you played for me?”

“Yeah.”

Sesshoumaru reached behind him for his stereo remote. “Well I have a song for you.” He pushed the play button and Sweet Lady by Tyrese streamed out of the speakers.

A hug grin took over Rin's face and kissed Sesshoumaru, “You do know that's a sex song right?”

Sesshoumaru pulled Rin's skirt down, “Yes.” He stood up and kissed her deeply, “How about a dance?”

“Sure, but you have to loose the pants first.”

“Insistent aren't we?”

Rin winked at him as she undid her bra and dropped it to the floor, her panties followed suit. “You have no idea just how much this song turns me on.”

Sesshoumaru quickly pulled off his pants and pulled Rin close to him.

“If I'm naked you have to be too.” Rin smiled wickedly at him

Sesshoumaru sighed and let his boxers hit the floor as well.

 

Rin wrapped her hands around his neck and kissed him. And just as she thought this was the end to his gift Sesshoumaru began to sing. Rin didn't doubt that he could, but the very fact that he was singing well and dedicating the song to her, blew her mind completely. She quickly found herself falling for him harder than ever.

 

As the chorus started Rin found herself on the bed with Sesshoumaru between her legs. She felt him kiss her neck and slip inside of her in sync with the song. His loving strokes seem to match the song as well. As the song hit a particular part Rin could have had an orgasm right then and there. The words were exactly right.

As the song continued Sesshoumaru sang it into Rin's ears. Each thrust was had meaning and soul behind me. Rin was in emotion and sexual bliss. If her heart swelled anymore she was sure it would burst. She gripped onto him and dug her fingernails into his back. Her body screamed for more and Sesshoumaru's name fell from her lips as her first climax hit her. Sesshoumaru held onto his sanity and demanded his body stay in control. He didn't want to come yet, he wanted Rin to climb the walls and reach her peak many more times before he did.

 

Another song began to play and this one Rin was definitely familiar with. The remix to You by Jesse Powell was another one of her favorites, not mention that is was a sex song as well. The rhythm was perfect for love making, and the words were beautiful. Although he didn't sing this one to her, she knew he felt every word. He slowed his pace down to match the song and sped it up when tempo went up. His lips found every inch of her upper body and couldn't help but chant his name along with a couple of I love yous and moans. As the song began to end Sesshoumaru began to thrust deeper into Rin. The sound of her moaning out her orgasm was music to his ears. He pulled on her hair and sat up bringing her with him.

 

The play list seemed to go on until Sesshoumaru could no longer hold out. He wanted Rin to find her final release with him and began to harshly thrust into. Rin knew by his rhythm that this was the last stretch and held onto him for dear life. She loved the rough treatment he gave her body when he was ready to come. This was her favorite part of their love making. Sesshoumaru pushed her against the back board of the bed and for all intents and purposes, fucked her silly. And all thoughts ceased on both parties as they came hard and fast.

 

Sesshoumaru fell backwards with Rin on top of him, both heaving from the strenuous act.

“I love…you…Sess…” Rin gasped out, unable to finish his name.

“I love you too.” Sesshoumaru stroked her hair

“You have no idea how great that was.”

“I think I do.” Sesshoumaru chuckled

“Oh shit!” Rin sprung up from his chest a horrific look on her face

“What's wrong?”

“I don't think you had a condom on.”

Sesshoumaru's mouth fell open, “I think you're right.”

“Oh fuck me!” Rin shouted pulling on her hair

“Don't panic…”

“Don't panic! Oh my God, Sesshoumaru if I get pregnant my parents are gonna kill me.”

Sesshoumaru shook his head, “It's ok.”

“You can't say that…” She was silenced by him pulling her into a loving kiss

“If you are I'll take care of you.”

A sad look took hold of Rin, “That's great and all, but I'm not ready to be a mother.”

“I don't think anyone ever is.” He pulled her into an embrace, “Everything will be alright, I promise.”

Rin hung her head, “Alright. I'm kind of hunger.”

Sesshoumaru smiled, “I already thought about that.”

 

They ate and talked till nine o'clock. Rin felt bad about not being able to stay, but she had told her Mom on the way there that she would be home later on that night.

“Why don't you let me drive you home?” Sesshoumaru said putting on his clothes

“I drove here you know.”

“Yes I do know. But it gives me an excuse to pick up tomorrow so we could do this again.”

Rin blushed and shook her head, “Hentai.” She pulled on her shirt, “You should be ashamed.

Sesshoumaru winked at her picked up his keys, “That didn't sound like a no.”

Rin giggled, “Come on smartass.

 

They made a slow track to his car and kissed before getting in. Rin did a once over in the mirror as Sesshoumaru started up the car and began to back out.

“Do mind if I mess with the radio?” Rin smiled

“Go ahead.” Sesshoumaru shrugged

Rin browsed through the stations till one song in particular caught her attention. Don't Matter by Akon seemed to fit the mood perfectly and she began singing it.

She nudged Sesshoumaru and he shook his head following her bobbing their heads. He was definitely more versatile than he let on. He leaned back taking the wheel in his left hand threw his right arm around Rin. True nigga mentality. Rin smiled to herself, she did have a big impact on Sesshoumaru. By the time they reached Rin's home they both felt a slight ache even though they hadn't parted yet.

Sesshoumaru leaned over and kissed Rin sweetly, “I love you.”

“I love you too.” Rin smiled her heart filling up ready to burst from her chest.

“I'll see you tomorrow.”

“Okay.” Rin reached for the door handle.

“Show up early and beat the crowd.” He smirked

Ring giggled and nodded, “I'll make sure to do that.”

She hopped out the car and ran to the other side and gave him another kiss. She waved goodbye as she entered her house.

 

Just as he closed the door she ran directly into her mother.

“I see he's well.”

Rin blushed and nodded, “Just about.”

“That's terrible what happened.” Her mother shook her head.

“Yeah.” Rin went towards the stairs

“So I take it you had a good time.”

Rin looked back her mother to see a strange look upon her face. “It's always nice to be in his company.”

“You didn't say that at first.”

“Well I guess I had to get to know him.” She shrugged

“Well don't get to know him too well. You know how young boys are. Be safe Rin.” Her mother nodded giving her a stern look.

“Always.” Rin swallowed feeling guilty about the mishap that night. The last thing she needed was to end up a pregnant single mother. Being pregnant period would be devastating enough.

 

She quickly retreated to her room and was still in the mood for music. She searched through her cds till she found her Alicia Keys album. She put it in her cd player and played one of her favorite song, A Woman's Worth. She sang along with the words thinking of Sesshoumaru. Memories flooded to her mind, moments from when they first met up to the present. It seemed that the evolution of their relationship was its own song but also like every song out there. She flopped on her bed with her hands behind her head singing along. Tomorrow was going to be something else, every day seemed to hold something new.
