InuYasha Fan Fiction ❯ days of history ❯ rin..and shippo.. ( Chapter 3 )

Rin and Shippo were playing near the river when the finished their food while the others finished packing up for the trip they would have to take when Shippo trips over a branch and both him and Rin collide into the river. Rin yells out for help as the head for a water fall. Yuki who was coming to check on them heard Rin and like a flash she dove into the river. She grabbed Rin and Shippo with one arm the other trying to swim. She manages to grab a branch and she throws them toward land she hears them run off and she exhales deeply and she starts to climb up. But then there is a snap her eyes widened as she saw the branch start to break. She tries to get up as fast as she can but it was to late the branch broke and in anger she through it into the river and she tried to swim the other way off the rivers force. Hearing the water fall up close her heart beats against her chest as she tried with all her might. When she felt herself weak she lost all hope and her head submerged under water. She held onto her side and she coughed hard and a hand shot out and grabbed her by the arm. She was brought out of the water and into someone's chest with that she passed out her body shivering.

 

Yuki woke up by the fore place she felt something jump on her and she grunted. She looked down to see Shippo his eyes filled with tears. “ Oh Yuki I thought you died!” Rin standing beside her with her head down says, “ I am sorry milady for we almost ended up killing you…” Rin looked up to Yuki's warm comforting eyes and Yuki grabbed and hugged rin and smiled softly, “it is not your fault or shippos fault you are young and things happen and rin, please call me Yuki..” Rin smiles and nods whipping a tear that went down her cheek. Yuki smiled and kissed the top of her head and kissed Shippos cheek. It was still noon time so Yuki stood up and she smiled to everyone near and chuckled, “well we shall go and kill this basted you all are talking about.” Everyone smile and they head out, Sango, Kirara up in the air right next to the two headed dragon and jacken on its neck and Rin on its back. Inuyasha , Miroku in the lead followed by Kagome on her bicycle. Sesshomaru in the air further ahead of the cat demon and the two headed dragon. Yuki behind them all having a bit trouble her body still sore but she didn't want to confront that she was still hut her white hair down her back and her wolf ears flat on her skull her wolf tail layed by her side dead like and her hand on her side softly grunting.

 

Sesshomaru saw how Yuki was doing and he disappeared and Reappeared by Yuki's side and surprised her by picking her up and flying next to the two headed dragon placing her by the now smiling Rin and Yuki looks at Sesshomaru with a confused look on her face. He sighed a bit and says, “ It's the least I can do since you have saved my ward..”. He flies ahead of them and Yuki smiles softly and hugs Rin from behind. Rin smiles and leans back into Yuki who stairs at the sky with her sky blue eyes smiles a bit. `Sesshomaru is very kind…' She chuckles to herself and a slight blush goes on her face. Rin falls asleep and Yuki exhales deeply and holds Rin close protectively.

 

Sesshomaru looks back and sees Rins body lean against Yuki's and Rin falls asleep and Yuki holds onto her as if Rin was her own child. He shakes his head and looks forward and he tries to focus on the task before them and not to think about a wolf demon.
