Chapter Three: Club Paradise

Kagome gasped in awe as she saw the line outside the club as they drove by. The line went down the street and around the corner and down some more! "Don't worry Kags, we're tight with the bouncer." Sango smiled and Kagome nodded in relief. Standing in line for hours on end was not her idea of a night of dancing and fun.

"Oh really, do one of you date him?" Kagome asked jokingly, nudging Rin and Sango with her elbows. "Actually I used to, before I met Sesshie." Rin sighed dreamily, clasping her hands together and holding them under her chin like a love sick puppy. "Chill out, you don't even date." Inuyasha snorted with a chuckle.

"Yet. I believe that love is there. He's just-" "Being a cold and arrogant bastard." Inuyasha finished. Kagome watched Rin and Inuyasha banter back and forth about Rin's relationship with this 'Sesshie' guy. 'Who is that guy anyway...Rin sure has changed a lot. I'm liking the hair.' Kagome thought as Inuyasha drove around back and parked.

"Don't worry Kagome, this happens often." Sango said sympatheticly, patting her knee. "Is that healthy?" Kagome asked in a worried tone as the car grew silent, then everyone burst into laugher. "Trust me, if it didn't happen we'd all have bad health." Miroku laughed, Inuyasha just turning his lips into a frown of mock anger. "Whatever, let's go. I need to burn off some pent up energy." Inuyasha said taking the keys out of the ignition and stepping out of the car.

Kagome followed her old friends towards the club, the small knot of nerves in her belly growing as she fiddled with her hands. "Chillax, you're in good hands here." Rin chirped, seeing Kagome's slightly stiff form. "I'm not so sure. What's so hot about this club anyway?" Kagome asked as they neared the front, viewing the anxious and excited faces of the people in line. "Boy, you have a lot to learn." Sango laughed wamly, making Kagome roll her eyes in return.

Rin and Sango placed their arms around Kagome, pinning her in between them. "Just like old times. Sticking together through thick and thin." they said in unison and Kagome nodded, her bright laughter music to their ears. "As always, now, let's go in and tear the house down." Kagome said holding her hand out and Sango and Rin placed theirs on top too, as if a football team getting ready for second quater.

Miroku and Inuyasha just arched their eyebrows as they neared the velvet rope. "What was all that about?" Inuyasha asked gruffly, making Sango shrug. "An old crew thing." Kagome smiled as they nodded. "Hey Joe." Rin chirped to the bouncer, batting her eyelashes. "Hello ladies, I see you got a new face with you. A beautiful one I might add." the bouncer said in a deep baritone voice.

'Rin dated this guy?!' Kagome exclaimed in her mind, taking in the short and stocky but yet muscular frame of Joe. Rin was taller than he was...and Kagome was taller than Rin! "Uh, t-thanks." Kagome stuttered, intimitated by his size alone although he only came to about her chest. Then he pulled the rope back and let them in, Kagome didn't miss the whispers and mutters of unjustice from the people in line.

"Oh.My.Gosh!" Kagome exclaimed her eyes widening as a smile spread across her face. "Now THIS is what I'm talking back. Whew, look at the girl right there." Miroku cheered happily eyeing a girl in a tupe top and daisy dukes, Sango scoffing and rolling her eyes at his lecher behavior. 'Is it just me, or is there something between them?' she thought as she walked with them, barely taking in the faces of the people they shook hands with and spoke to.

The club was amazing!! The walls were black but had soft neon lighting on the border of colors like orange and green. The 'bar'(underage bar, NO alchohol) was long, pure white snow...and FULL of people. But the dancefloor is what caught her eyes. It was packed full of people clad in all kinds of clothing and even had a small cages hanging from the ceiling where girls were dancing.

And thankfully to Kagome's hope they were all clothed tastefully and even dancing with skill! "Kagome! Kagome!" Sango's voice periced her thoughts over the bumping speakers. "Huh? What?" Kagome answered starting slightly as she felt Sango's grip on her arm. "C'mon, we're gonna go grab a table then dance. 'Kay?" Sango asked and Kagome nodded, stull dumbfounded by how hot the club actually was as they lead her to a table.

"Look, Inuyasha's here!" she heard a few squeals from girls in the crowd. 'Don't tell me he has a fanclub...' Kagome thought as a bead of sweat rolled down her face as she felt a slight scowl form on her face. "What's wrong?" Inuyasha's voice broke her chain of thought. "Nothing, I'm just...feeling the vibe." Kagome replied, searching for a description of what she was doing. "What?" Inuyasha asked arching a brow.

"It's a Kagome thing. She used to do it at the skating rink all the time." Rin smiled, her eyes shinning at the happiness of having her best friend back. "OK, ok, ok. Enough chit chat. Let's dance!" Sango cheered as she grabbed Rin and Kagome by the wrists dragging them off to the dancefloor as she bopped to the beat. The song 'Get Buck in Here' by Akon blasting from the hidden speakers, filling the club and the people.

Soon they were in a sea of people, rocking and vibing to the beat. 'Wow...now I see why people go clubbing.' Kagome thought as she got lost in the music. Just dancing in a sea of people who were enjoying the music as much as she were was enough to make Kagome start doing pirouettes.

She worked her hips to the beat as she, Rin, and Sango danced around eachother. Laughing and just enjoying the first day of being reunited after so long. 'This MUST be fate.' Kagome thought to herself as she rolled her body, reaching her arms in the air.

Don't make me get buck in here
Shawty drop it the ground like she ain't got manners
Too much booty for one man to handle
All I need is a one night scandal

Kagome, of course dropped it to the ground like she didn't have manners, earning cheers from Sango and Rin and even some of the guys in the crowd as they danced along with her, pulling her back up by the hands as they continued to dance. Hands linked as they moved across the floor.

And Ima get buck here
Damn lil mama know you fit my standards
You the type to make me grip that handle
Six shots in the air, bust em at random
While ya make it clap, clap, clap, clap, clap
Ya gotta shake that thang, shake that thang
Ya gotta make it clap, clap, clap, clap, clap
Shake that thang, shake that thang

2 HOURS LATER....

"Are you sure she's gonna be ok?" Miroku whispered worriedly to Inuyasha as they walked off of the dance floor, their breathing ragged from their pace of fast dancing. "I don't know man...I think we should keep an eye on her." Inuyasha replied as their eyes landed on Kagome as they sat down, who was having entirely too much fun on the dance floor. She's been dancing for like, 2 hours non stop, even on the slow songs she'd still be out there dancing away. Slowly the thumping base stopped as it switched to a slow song. "Thank God, slow song! C'mon Kaggy, let's catch a breather." Rin panted as she tugged Kagome towards their table, Sango trailing behind them.

"This...is the most fun...I've ever had." Kagome said inbetween breaths as she slumped back in the booth, her belly ring glittering in the soft neon lights. "I can tell." Inuyasha replied, a sort of smirk on his face. "What do you guys want to drink?" Sango asked as she tapped her fingernails on the table. "Water, please." Kagome said, wiping the prespiration off of her forehead. "Me too." Rin chirped. "Water is plain! Get me a sprite." Inuyasha snorted.

Kagome rolled her eyes, in the 2 hours Kagome had gotten to know Inuyasha and the others, she had come to the conclusion that though Inuyasha was very, very, VERY hot that he could be somewhat immature and a bit of a jerk. At least to other people, she hoped he wouldn't be that way to her, cause then they would have a problem.

Sango ran off to get their drinks and Rin leaned her head on Kagome shoulder, her eyes closed as she smiled. "Kagome, I can't believe we're meeting up after so long. It MUST be destiny." Rin gushed happily, squeezing her arm so hard Kagome began to loose feeling it. "I know, I think so too. Maybe we'll stay here longer than a year." Kagome said hopefully, smiling as the strobe lights turned on, making a blanket of darkness wash over the occupants of the club.

"What? You're only staying here for a year?" Sango asked, sounding heartbroken as she had appeared behind them with a tray of drinks. "I don't even know....it's unpredictable with my mom. Every time I seem to settle down and get used to my new home she whisks us off to somewhere totally new. She's not fond of my dancing which I think has something to do with it." Kagome said with a bitter smile, then took her glass of water and took a long drink. "Ahhh! So much better!" she sighed as she sat the now half empty glass down in front of her.

"She still hasn't come around yet?" Sango asked sympatheticly as she slid into her seat next to Miroku, ignoring when he placed his hand on her thight under the table. It was when he started dragging his hand up closer and closer to-certain parts- that she lifted her tennis shoe clad foot and stomped on his foot as hard as she could.

"Ow! Sango my love, why must you hurt me so?" Miroku said in a hurt tone as he hissed in pain. "Cause you're a pervert who will never learn his lesson!" she excalimed back, her cheek turning light cheek. "Anyways, on with what you were saying Kagome." Sango chirped as she threw a brightening smile at Kagome.

Kagome giggled, not noticing the amber eyes that glanced her way when she did. She crossed her arms then leaned her elbows forward on the table. "If anything else, she hates it even more. She refuses to come to my dance recitals, she won't even come to see me rehearse. I swear......if she could see me dance one time..." she trailed off as she turned her eyes to the dance floor, her eyes raging with multitudes of emotions. 'She will never understand how much dance means to me...' Kagome thought as she felt the injustice and anger rise in her heart, along with the pain and feeling of abandonment.

"Aww, Kagome." Rin cooed, leaning to wrap her arms around her as Sango stood and sat on her other side. Kagome's eyebrows bunched as she tried to hold back the tide of emotions that seem to make her heart ache. She didn't want her little brother Souta to feel the hurt she did, so she would see every piano concert, recital, contest everything to spare him the pain and suffering. Suddenly she burst into tears. The comforting arms of her friends just seemed to make her crying worse. "You guys, I think we should call it a night. I'm tired anyway." Inuyasha said softly as he and Miroku stood up. They weren't good with the 'crying thing'.

Suddenly Kaogme began to sob harder as guilt flooded her. "I'm soooo sorry...I ruined your night guys." she blubbered as her cheeks turned red. "Oh no Kagome! Never. I'm ready to go anyways. We can go get something to eat instead, we don't have to go home yet." Sango said as she turned her questioning eyes to Inuyasha. He nodded then looked over at Kagome, who was hiccuping softly as she got her crying under control as the tears slowly stopped as they neared the exit.

As they walked out her hiccups turned to soft giggles. 'Has she lost it?' Inuyasha thought to himself as they neared his car. "Sorry guys, I don't know what came over me back there....I guess I just, held a lot of stuff in." Kagome said was she ran her fingers over her face, removing all trace of crying and thankful for the waterproff mascara and eyeliner she had on. 'Enough of my misery, time to have fun!' Kagome thought to herself as she focused on the here and now, and the friends she were with.

"Don't apologize. We've all been there." Miroku said in a soothing voice, instantly making Kagome feel better for some reason. Kagome sniffled one last time, then pinned Inuyasha with a bright smile. "Uh, can I drive this time. I just LOVE your car." she gushed, clapping her hands together. "No way, I have to see your driving scores and see you test drive another car before you EVEN think about driving my car." Inuyasha said crossing his arms as Kagome 'hmphed' and crossed her arms. "Jerk." she muttered just loud enough for him to hear.

"What was that?!" Inuyasha barked out, making Kagome sigh. "Oh nothing, nothing. Can I at least touch your radio?" Kagome said with too much perk in her voice as she slid into the back seat and Sango and Rin followed behind her. Once again Kagome was in the middle of her best friends and it felt great! She didn't feel alienated like she usually did when she moved to a new city, and was only hopping that Souta would have it this easy. It looked like he did consindering the Shippo kid was really nice, and amazingly adorable.

With the tunes blasting and the sun roof down the teens cruised through the streets of New York city. "Oh wow...I only saw that on TV!" Kagome gushed happily as she had her face plastered to the window. Look at all the celebrity hot spots and clubs that were lit up and open for business. "I was like that too when I first got here....it'll loose it's sparkle in time." Sango said with a laugh. "Especially when you're on the subway and there's some hobo feeling you up." Rin chirped in making Kagome gasp. "Feeling you up? No way am I getting on a subway!" Kagome said crossing her arms and leaning back into her seat.

"You'll have to if you want to get around New York. Traffic is terribly here, as you can see what we're stuck in right now. Dammit all!" Inuyasha said angrily, punching his steering wheel so hard that Kagome was scared he was gonna break it. "Uh, does he have anger problems?" Kagome whispered to Rin and Sango. "No, I do NOT! It's pansy ass drivers like these that make me angry!" Inuyasha yelled, turning around in his seat to face Kagome. "Geeze! I was just asking a question you don't have to bite my fucking head off!" she yelled back just as loud. "Well don't think I have anger issues! Cause I don't!" Inuyasha argued back with her. 'Oh boy...' Rin's eye roll seemed to say as she and Sango echanged looks.

"Sure coulda fooled me the way you hit your steering wheel." Kagome retored with attidue, rolling her neck. Miroku and the other burst into snickers as Inuyasha began to tap his steering wheel, lettin his anger be known. "Jerkwad." Kagome muttered under her breath and Inuyasha tensed for a second then relaxed. "Wench." was all he said. "Douchebag." Kagome replied. "Carpet muncher." Inuyasha countered. "Oh God!" Rin laughed as tears began to leak at her eyes.

Kagome and Inuyasha bantered back and forth as the others decided just to head to Shikon Heights. By the time they got out of traffic any of the good resturants would be closed. "I can cook us something, although we can't go to my house. My mom could be there....I really don't feel like seeing her now." Kagome said with a chuckle and the others nodded. "My place it is. Considering there's no kind of form of adults living there." Sango chuckled as she and Rin high fived.

"You live there unsupervised...LUCKY!" Kagome gushed making Sango blush slightly. "It's not that great. Especially when you have a party and there's only one of you to clean it up." Sango chuckled, jingling the many bangles on her wrist. "Hey, do you think it would be possible for me to stay with you?" Kagome asked, her eyes sparkling as if there was a beacon of light shining down in the deep sea of depression and anguish. "Of course! If you can, with your mom and all..." Sango trailed off and Kagome nodded, subconciously plotting ways of getting her mom to let her move in with Sango.

"So what do you guys want? Better yet, what do you have?" Kagome asked Sango as they walked up the stairs and hurried past Kagome's door quietly. "Steak, with mashed potatoes, green beans...and maybe a little white wine." Sango asked as she pulled a huge bottle of wine out of the freezer.

"Where did you get that? And I can't drink!" Kagome exclaimed, her voice squeaking slightly. "I stole it from the liquor cabinet from the landlord. And why can't you, America is a free country." Sango said as she pulled out 5 wine glasses. "I'm a dancer...and underage. Just like you guys." Kagome said wagging her finger was if scolding them although she did want to at least taste some first. "Although...I wouldn't mind doing a taste tester." she added with a blush as everyone began laughing.

Miroku and Inuyasha were playing a game of monoply on dining room table, with Rin being the banker. "Hey! Where's my money, I passed Go like twice!" Inuyasha said loudly, making Sango and Kagome giggle as they were in the kitchen. They were sipping slowly from wine glasses as they cooked, Kagome liked the fuzzy warm buzz that was in her stomach and it seemed to help her relax a little more as she took the steak out of the oven.

"Oh wow....that's amazing. I normally would've charred it by now." Sango laughed as she looked at the well done steaming steak that was cooling on the stove top. "All it takes is a little TLC. Tender loving care!" Kagome chirped happily, her and Sango's cheeks rosey as they collapsed into giggled. "OK, well I'm almost done with the beans and I need you to mash the potatoes. Pretty please." Sango said as she stirred the pot full of beans and Kagome got to work on the potatoes.

"Ok, put the monoply away, dinner's ready!" Sango sang through the window that was mounted in the wall that showed through to the dining room. "No! I was just starting to win!" Miroku whined as she slammed the table with his fist, making the game peices jump on the game board. "Are you sure he doesn't have any anger problems as bad as Inuyasha's?" Kagome asked as she watched them put the game away. She stuck her tounge out at Inuyasha when he shot her a glare. She grabbed the huge bowl of potatoes as Sango grabbed the plates.

Soon they were all sitting around the table munching on steak and sipping on white wine. "Man, tonight I could honestly say was the best night ever." Kagome said happily as she placed her almost empty wine glass back on the table. "It was wasn't it. Especially our reunion. Yay!" Rin chirped happily as she clapped her hands. Everyone chuckled as they ate. "And this steak is good. Where'd you learn to cook Kagome?" Miroku asked through a mouthful of food. "Acutally my mom taught me, when she was some what motherly." Kagome said with a smile, not letting the topic of her mom spoil her mood.

They all nodded as the table got unexceptionally quiet. "You guys wanna watch a movie or something?" Sango asked after everyone had finished, everyone's cheeks nice and rosey was the wine buzzed through their systems. "Yeah, do you have Jumangi?" Kagome asked eagerly as Sango collected their plates and placed them in the sink. "No way in hell are we watching that." Inuyasha said in a dead pan voice as if everyone was psycho. "Why-hiccup-not?" Kagome asked, hiccuping in midsentence. "Cause, Jumangi is gay." Inuyasha said with a slight smirk as he crossed his arms as they walked into the large living room with the plasma screen TV.

"Jumangi it is! Right Sango?" Kagome asked as she plopped down on the couch next to Inuyasha, Rin on her other side. "Nope, acutally we're gonna watch Knocked Up. I rented it last night and still haven't gotten around to watching it." Sango said as she popped the DVD into the player.

As the movie played Kagome found her thoughts wandering to her friends back in Compton and if they were ok or not. Some of them hadn't been in some not so good situations and Kagome felt bad that she had to leave them when they needed her most. 'My mom ruins everything in my life!' Kagome thought furiously.

"Hey, are you ok?" Inuyasha whispered to her. "Huh? Why are you asking?" Kagome whispered back, not even knowing why they were whispering. "I don't know, you looked kinda pissed." he chuckled making her smile slightly. "Well, I was thinking about some things, kinda got lost in thought. Why are we whispering?" Kagome asked as she looked into Inuyasha's amber eyes, they were boring into hers and seemed to seer right through her.

"Duh idiot! Seems like we're the only ones that can hold of alchohol seeing as everyone else is knocked out." Inuyasha said and Kagome did noticed that Rin's head was lolling on her shoudler with her mouth open as she snored softly and Sango had her head laying on Miroku's chest. 'I knew something was up with them!' Kagome thought triumphantly. She giggled as she poked Rin in she cheek and she still didn't wake. "Still a deep sleeper, as always. It could be a tsunami and Rin would sleep right through it." Kagome chuckled as she turned her gaze from Rin back to Inuyasha.

"So you guys were close huh?" Inuyasha asked as Kagome nodded, totally forgetting about the movie that was playing n the large screen. "Thick as thieves. We used to get into all sorts of trouble." Kagome smiled as a faraway look came into her eyes as she remembvered all the rought times she, Sango, Rin, and Ayame had gone through. 'Ayame...I wonder how you are...' she pondered as Inuyasha's voice pulled her out of her thoughts once more. "Yeah, Rin told me about the hobo that lived across the street from you." Inuyasha laughed, remembering the childhood story that had made him laugh until his sides hurt.

"That is not funny! I hope you know I have a permanent scar cause of that scary hobo." Kagome said indignantly as she crossed her arms, turning her nose in the air. "Well, you shouldn't have been knocking on his door then running away." Inuyasha sniggered and Kagome turned to smack him upside the head, but her eyes sofetened as she looked at him. He almost look like a little boy with his lips curled into that wonderful smile and his eyes sparkling. "What?" he asked jerking Kagome out of her musing. 'Don't tell me I was checking him out. Get a hold of yourself Kagome!' she scolded herself.

"Nothing, just think of how you look like a child when you did that." Kagome said as Inuyasha arched his eyebrow at that. "A child? Feh. I'm a man." Inuyasha said gruffly, making Kagome burst into giggles. "Yeah, right. You're THE man Inuyasha." Kagome said sarcasticly then began laughing. "What is that supposed to mean?" Inuyasha said defiantly.

"Nothing. Just that...you're the man." Kagome said getting her giggles under control as Inuyasha narrowed her eyes at her. 'You know, Kagome's really hot when she wrinkles her nose like that. I love her smile....whoa, it's the wine running away with me!' Inuyasha thought as he unconciously began checking Kagome out, he cleared his throat as if to make the thoughts disappear from his mind.

"What time is it?" Kagome asked suddenly, not seeing a clock anywhere. "Umm, it's eleven fifty." Inuyasha said pulling out his cell phone and looking at the time. "Oh shit!" Kagome exclaimed slapping her hand to her forehead. Although she didn't like her mom and didn't care what she thought, it was still a pain in the you-know-where to listen to her preach and lecture her about her responsibilties and her academics and crap.

"I'm so sorry Yash, but i gotta go. I was supposed to get my brother at eleven thirty!" Kagome exclaimed as she stood and slipped her jacket back on, hiding her exposed stomach from view. "Want me to walk you down? It is dark and all." Inuyasha said and Kagome shrugged not minding acutally. So they exited the Sango's apartment and silently made their way down to the first floor.

"Sis! Couldn't you have come a bit later...who's this guy?" Souta asked when he exited Shippo's apartment, staring up the the golden eyed boy with silver hair. "This is Inuyasha. A child hood friend. You remember Sango and Rin right?" Kagome asked as they slowly walked up the stairs. Kagome's arms and hips kept bumping into Inuyasha's but no matter how hard she tried it seemed they wouldn't stop.

Souta nodded as they reached their floor. "Well they're here too. I went dancing with them tonight." Kagome smiled, her eyes glowing. Souta smiled, happy that his sister was finally having fun. "You go on ahead, I want to say bye to Inuyasha." Kagome said as she embraced her brother and gave him a loving peck on the cheek. Then she turned around to see Inuyasha, smiling at her. "What?" Kagome asked blushing slightly as she brushed a peice of hair behind her ear, her nervous habit rearing it's ugly head.

"You're a good sister, you know that right?" Inuyasha said as he smiled a one sided smile at her. Kagome shurgged then smiled. "I hope I am, at least I try my hardest to be." Kagome smiled as she slipped her hands in her pocket. "I had so much fun with you guys tonight, and hope that we can do it more than once." Kagome laughed, her eyes dancing making Inuyasha's heart flutter slightly.

"I hope so too, we defiently have to do it again." Inuyasha said in way that made her stomach flip. She watched his eyes glance over her one time, as if to memorize her. "Oh, here's my number. In case you guys ever want to reach me. At least I think it's right, I just moved here." Kagome said as she put her number in his cell phone. He slipped it back in his pocket when it was done and smiled at her. "Man, I hate that this night has to end." he heard her whisper under her breath, and saw the flicker of saddness flicker behind her eyes. "It doesn't have to, if you dream about it." he said smirking at her, loving the way she rolled her eyes. "Whatever, I can't control my dreams." Kagome smiled, and it was true she couldn't control her dreams.

"Then let me give you something to remember this night by." Inuyasha said never breaking his eye contact with her as he stepped towards her. Her heartbeat began to race as she felt his hand on her wrist, pulling her so that she had to step closer to him. Before she even knew it, his lips were on hers and.....she was liking it.

His lips felt so velvety soft, and Kagome had to resist sighing outloud as she kissed him back. 'Wait...I just met him today...' Kagome thought although it didn't seem to matter as she felt the flutter in her stomach turn into a full on tickle as they pulled away. Her eyes were dazed as she looked up at him, the urge to wipe that smirk off his face with another kiss so strong she could barely fight it.

She was going to lean in to do just that before, "Kagome?!" came her mother's voice from behind her. "I'll call you, 'kay?" Inuyasha whispered and she nodded, her eyebrows bunching as she realized this was goodby. At least for the day and then he turned around and slinked down the stairs and into the shadows of the night, back to his own apartment. "Who were you talking to?" her mom asked worriedly as Kagome walked to her door, her footsteps heavy and loud as she entered her new home.

"No one. Just thinking to myself." Kagome said as she placed her hands in her jacket pockets. 'Mom will never know...' Kagome thought with a smile as a flurry of happieness flooded her stomach, as she counted this as a victory. Mom would never know she went clubbing, met some new friends, and had fun! "Where were you all this time?! Do you know I was worried sick about you?" her mom badgered her as Kagome went into the kitchen and pulled out a glass to get a drink.

"I was at the spa. I got a facial and sat in the sauna. I guess I lost track of time I was so relaxed." Kagome chuckled as she took her glass full of water now and headed into her room to ger ready for bed. "Oh, well don't keep Souta out so late. God knows we don't want him following you example." her mom said as if they were talking about the weather. "Whatever. I'm going to bed." Kagome said as if the conversation wasn't worth her time, and it really wasn't.

She hurried into her new sanctuary, her bedroom, then shut and locked the door behind her. She instantly turned on the stereo and listened as the multiple disk changer chose a disk and began to play it. Kagome smiled and rocked to the beat as Rhianna's 'Questions Existing' began playing, knowing it was one of her burned CDS. 'God, I love this song.' Kagome thought happily as she took a deep drink from her glass then took of her clothes, walking around in her underwear as she looked for her pajamas.

ohh
ummm

Take off my shirt
Loosen the buttons
And undo my skirt
Stare at myself in the mirror
Pick me apart peice by peice
Sorrow decreased, pressure released
I put in work, did more than called upon
More than deserved
When it was over did I wind up hurt?
Yes
But it taught me before a decision to ask this question first

Rhianna's lyrics rang out through room, touching Kagome's heart as she connected to the song and got lost in it. Kagome sat in front of her vanity as she took her make up off. She took her hair down and brushed it out until it all the kinks were gone and her hair was bone straight.

Who am living for?
ohhh yeah
Is this my limit?
Can I endure more?
Chances I'm giving
Questions existing
Who am I living for?
Oohh
Is this my limit?
Can I endure some more?
Chances I'm giving
Questions existing

'I think my hair's gotten longer.' Kagome thought as she turned and looking at her hald naked self in the mirror, tapping her feet in time with the beat of the music. Her hair was to the small of her back now instead of the middle of her back. She began to ponder on when to cut it as she turned back around and stared at herself in the mirror. Then she began to think about how the situation at home as and if it would get better at all. 'I just wish mom would stop being so....UGH! All she has to do is let me dance, instead of trying to force calculus and trigonometry down my damn throat!' she thought as she then grabbed a clip and pinned her hair in a bun.

Take off my cool
Show them that under here
I'm just like you
Do the mistakes I make make me a fool?
Or human with flaws
Admit that I'm lost
Round of applause
Take the abuse
Sometimes it feels that they want me to loose
It's entertainment
Is that an excuse?
No
But the question that lingers wether I win or loose

"Damn, I can't find my pajamas!" Kagome hissed angrily as she looked through her drawers and closet. So going into her closet she put in some dance shirt and a sports bar, thinking it would just have to do. She laid on her bed and let Rhianna's lyrics wash over her and carry her to an other place.

Who am I living for?
