Just Another Boring Night!

 

 

 

He was bored. He sat perched up on a roof of one of the many high rises that now littered the cityscape. He looked at the crowded street below him and began to think about his day. He and his brother owned and operated an architectural design business. It was his life. He spent every moment he had designing and working out plans for his architectural wonders. The only problem was that his brother had been the one to finance the operation so he became a part owner.

 

“Bastard” the young hanyou said to no one in particular. His brother had forced him to take a week off. “Keh! What the hell am I suppose to do for a week!?” he said allowed.

 

The noises of the bustling city below him drew his attention back to the present; he was now soaking wet and the traffic noise was beginning to annoy his sensitive ears. He stood up and leaped off, his long silver hair wiped behind him.

 

He went a longer way so not to draw attention to him as he practically flew threw the blackened sky. He unconsciously leaped towards a more abandoned area of the city. The icy rain felt good as it poured from the heavens. For some reason he was compelled to stop. He landed on a small brick building and just stood for a minute in the rain.

 

“Over here! She went this way” he heard angry yells from somewhere below. “That's odd” he said to himself, “there isn't usually anyone in this part of town at this time” Out of curiosity, he went closer to see what was going on. He could sense a frightened female trapped in a dead end, `they must be chasing her' he thought to himself. He landed on an old concrete roof and quietly made his way to the ledge. He peered over and what he saw made bile rise in his throat. There were 5 demons beating a young woman, she seemed to be out cold. He felt his yokai rise in anger and the next thing he knew he was down in the dark ally.

 

“Oi!! Leave her alone!” he hollered angrily, barely keeping his yokai under control. The demons stopped suddenly and looked startled at the intruder.

 

`Oh great, now what oh brilliant one! You are not going to take all 5 of them on with that girl just laying there!!! We need to get her out of here!' “Oh shit!” the silver haired man said allowed.

 

He quickly punched out a pudgy bear demon to his left then a large tiger demon jumped on to his back clawing his shirt. With superhuman strength Inuyasha threw the demon off in to a wall.

 

Without hesitation and with lightening fast speed and agility, he leaped over the remaining approaching mass of demons, picked up the poor girl and took off in to the night.
