A/N: Okay, this is my very first and currently my only story… it will most likely suck since I have no experience what so ever about writing stories using anime characters… but my parents and friends have read some of my own stories about… well, anything and encouraged me to try this so… well, I have no idea how this story will be play out, it just popped into my head and wouldn't go away so here it is. I hope I am not wasting your time with this story… so even though I'm new, don't go easy on me, I hate that.

Oh yes, in this fic, the characters purposes and roles may be heavily twisted, for example: Naraku may be a good guy in this and some of the good guys will be evil, so don't be shocked by it.

Also, characters are heavily OOC since this is an AU fic after all, I have twisted their roles but in a interesting way I promise, also, along with their basic attacks they will have attacks and techniques they normally don't have and even some of the basics have some new changes in them… I hope it will work.

Disclaimer: I don't own Inuyasha or any of the other characters, I only own the characters I have made up just for this story.

Prologue:=The Legend=

This world, Jerra, is a world of many things… Magic, monsters, technology that is futuristic, modern or past… in other words, this world is a like all three timelines were one and the same, past, present and future… it is also huge, very huge, if compared it would be 3 times the size of the earth.

It is hard to say what rules in this world: Magic or Technology, magic is something that humans have found while technology is something human has made… so it is a never ending circle of rights and wrongs, trial and error since both are important yet dangerous at the same time.

So, villages and major cities are labelled with ranks: D, C, B and A. Places categorised with D are un-inhabitable due to either large number of monster activity or due to some trouble with natural things there. C category means a basic village, with either little amount of magic or technology, sometimes both. B category means a bigger city with a larger population and more advanced both magic and technology. A category are major cities and capitals, with high level things and living rate, meaning people are usually born to live in those places, very few who live outside these cities can move to live in them, the people who live in the cities are referred and talked about with the word `Enclaim' so if you're from those cities, you are an `Enclaimer'.

More details will be explained as we progress with the story.

This world is also famous for it's numerous legends and myths but sadly most of them are either too ancient or too scarcely known to confirm either the facts or if it really happened… but the most recent `huge' legend that started 50 years ago is still fresh within everyone's lips and minds, yet some facts are still unclear about it and it is thought to be exaggerated: The legend about the fearsome, no, perhaps the most fearsome monster that ever existed… Inuyasha, nicknamed `Devil Dog' or `Dog Devil', this monster was practically un-stoppable even with Enclaim peoples technology and magic… Inuyasha was a huge white dog shaped monster, it was tall like a castle and it's strength could destroy mountains with a single swipe of it's claws and could make the earth tremble with it's roars. This monstrous being terrorised the continent of Heravia for over 10 years, during that time many warriors and even armies tried to stop it… but none could do it, Inuyasha was just too much for anyone to defeat it… but then, against all odds, two people, a man and a woman stopped this monstrous being.

They're real names are shrouded in mystery, to this day, no one ever knew the names of these two, all that is known are they're nicknames: The man was called `Demon Swordsman' for his demon like strength, speed and technique, the woman was called `Celestial Sorceress' for her immense magical and mystical strength, these two lured the Devil Dog Inuyasha into a VERY wide open ground, away from the populated areas and fought against this Devil for 3 days, it was said that for those 3 days, the roars and howls of Inuyasha echoed throughout the land and shook the heavens themselves, no one slept during that time because they couldn't… all the fear, anxiousness and anticipation for the battle to end made the whole continent hold it's breath…

It is said that one the third sunrise, a howl unlike any other echoed from the battlefield, the light and wind that followed were so intense that it was thought the continent would be ripped into pieces, it lasted for precisely 10 minutes but it had felt like 10 hours… after that, only silence followed, the battle was over and Inuyasha was no more. It was a mysterious, sad and joyful day, it was mysterious because no explanation was ever made as to how Inuyasha was killed, only it's bones were found. The day was also sad because both of the heroes who had killed Inuyasha were also gone, only one thing was found: The robes that the sorceress had worn, tattered and ripped but still recognisable, it is currently inside one of the A class cities, at the `museum of legends'. The day was joyful for Inuyasa was no more, the gigantic Devil Dog had met it's end at the hands of two humans, now, 50 years later, the continent has mostly recovered from those times, it was thought that the times of terror were now over.

Yet, what the people of this word did not know was that… the true nightmare was yet to begin, from this day, a new legend would begin… the legend of the `=Demon Crest=' … what it is about and how it ends? That is our story…

A/N: Cliché… shit… oh well, now you know something about all this, not much but it's a start… I do have a problem though, should I make long chapters or short ones? I can't decide… well, we'll see next time…
