Chapter 2: Encounter

"Rin, you have been in the bath for almost an hour!" Kagome cried knocking on the bathroom door. "Are you alright?"

"Be out in a minute…" Rin's voice came from the other side of the door.

"What's wrong with her?" Sango asked worried waiting by the door.

"I don't know," Kagome said. "Ever since we reached our base, she just rushed off to take a bath…"

Rin scrubbed her skin till it was raw and stood under the burning hot shower washing every part of her body that was touched by the youkai lord. She cursed inwardly for not shooting him there and then. She frowned slightly at her thoughts; the weird thing was she didn't want to kill him at all. His touches were gentle and also at the same time demanding evoking a feeling deep within her. He made her feel pleasure and also at the same time dread.

The more Rin thought of the places he had touched her the more she started to scrub those areas again. She only stopped when she couldn't scrub her raw skin anymore and slowly stepped out of the shower. Wrapping herself with a thick towel she stepped out of the bathroom and was greeted by Sango and Kagome looking worriedly at her.

"What did you do to yourself?" Kagome shrieked when she saw the red blotches on Rin's skin.

"I took a hot shower…" Rin mumbled. "Let me get dress, I'll be down at the main lobby in a minute."

"Well, OK…" Sango said reluctantly eyeing her suspiciously as she took Kagome's arm leading her away with her. "Kaede-sama will be waiting for us. She wants us to be present before she asks the survivors what actually happened…."

"Tell her, I'll be right down…" Rin mumbled turning away from them.

"Sesshoumaru-sama, Inuyasha-sama had returned…" Jakken cried running into his study. "He and his human slave had returned from their battle…"

"Bring him here," Sesshoumaru snapped. "Make sure that filth doesn't follow him… I want to speak to him alone!"

"Hai," Jakken bowed low and quickly left the room.

Not long later Inuyasha entered the room looking bewildered.

"Jakken told me that you wanted to see me urgently?" Inuyasha asked.

"What is this battle I heard Jakken spoke of?"

"I was out with Miroku and he was showing me how to use a spacecraft…"

"That human slave, is another thing." Sesshoumaru towered over his brother, and because he was so much taller Inuyasha stood back slightly afraid. "Is there a reason why you let this human filth follow you everywhere you go? And what is the meaning of a slave teaching you?"

"Come on," Inuyasha protested. "I know you hate humans, but you don't have to be that harsh about Miroku. Besides we kill his race… he is still willing to help me…"

"It is because he is our slave!" Sesshoumaru bellowed.

"Well, whatever you say…" Inuyasha replied in a slight tone of impatient ness in his voice. "Miroku is a brilliant scientist, and he was able to help us in so many ways. I don't get it why you have to still hold on to the pass… the future now is so different. We need human technology to survive!"

"I have heard enough!" Sesshoumaru shouted. "To think I will let human take over my life? Inuyasha where did your pride and honour?"

"They are always been with me!" Inuyasha lifted his chin up. "Miroku saved my life once, and I will never think of him as a slave."

With that last sentence he left the room, leaving Sesshoumaru seething uncontrollably.

Rin made her way slowly to the main lobby to find the rest of the female crews that worked at the bottom level crowd around the entrance peeping inside curiously. She blinked and quirked an eyebrow; as she approached them wonderingly.

"Why are you all doing here?" Rin asked startling all of them.

They all turned around all at once.

"Rin- sempai!" They chorus.

"Don't you have jobs at your posts?" Rin asked.

"Hai," Some of them stammered and all of them rushed away at once.

With her head inclined slightly she watched them sprinting their way to the lift and turned back to the entrance to see four men standing in front of Kaede waiting to be inspected. Rin blinked and sighed. No wonder the girls were here, it had been some time since they had seen any men in Eternal.

"Sorry I'm late," Rin announced her arrival as she stepped into the main lobby.

"It is about time," Kaede said softly. "Rin when you were at the bidding, did you see the youkai bringing the survivors down from a space craft."

"Hai," Rin answered. "It is almost as big as ours even though it wasn't near the market place… though I don't understand how they know how to operate our technology…"

"May I speak?" One of the men asked.

They turned to look at him; he was tanned quite tall and good looking with long black hair tied up into a bred behind his back.

"I'm Bankotsu," He introduced himself. "The captain of Velocity, our home was attacked almost one week ago. We are the only survivors left in the ship." He turned to the other three men. One of them had short black hair, "This is Snakego, Liango" Gesturing to a bald man." And Dr. Shuigo." He pointed to the last man with black hair and a tiny ponytail. "Our home was totally destroyed by a spacecraft known as `Hands of Hell'."

"I had never heard of `Hands of Hell' before…" Kaede said.

"It is because, it is a newly built spacecraft, own by a youkai known as Naraku." Bankotsu explained. "I got to know some slight information when I was captured in their ship; that humans were actually running the craft, not youkai…"

"Humans are helping youkai against humans?" Kagome whispered frowning at the scenario. "But why?"

"I don't know…" Bankotsu said slowly. "But what I gathered is that those humans are slaves. So they have to do as they are told."

"I would rather die than to go against our own race…" Sango retorted.

"To get hold of scientists to be slave is not an easy task, though it can happen…" Kaede said. "Rin I want you to investigate further on this situation. Who is this Naraku and how did he manage to get a spacecraft."

"Hai," Rin nodded once. "I'll get to it at once."

Rin turned to leave as Kikyo approached Bankotsu in her usual cold manner.

"And may I ask how you get this kind of information when I assumed you were locked up in their cell." She asked indifferently her eyes fixed intently at him. "I rather guessed that these youkais wouldn't give any information to you…"

"No, but I came across a human slave on the ship once." Bankotsu replied just as coldly. "He told me this information."

"Really, for a human slave to go against their masters giving out top secret information to you will be death sentence." Kikyo frowned. "So how did he live after such treachery?"

"I didn't say he survived." Bankotsu quirked his eyebrows slightly. "He was sentence immediately to death. They threw him out to space."

Kagome gasped at hearing this and Sango shut her eyes tightly turning her head away. Kikyo could only remained silent as she looked at Bankotsu though a slight look of remorse flash in her eyes. However it only last for a second before she turned away and walked off.

"The inspection is over, back to you post everyone!" Kikyo snapped.

"Yes, Kikyo- taichio." Kagome replied quickly.

Kaede could only shake her head sadly. How could things become more complicated as it already is? She thought.

Youkai owning a spacecraft will be the last thing they needed now. They had already taken over Earth… now they come to Space and create havoc…

Sesshoumaru left his castle later in the evening for a walk when the exquisite girl he met at the market place was still vivid in his mind. He couldn't forget that girl even how hard he tried to push her away from his mind but soon he had other things to worry about when he saw Inuyasha and his slave cautiously looking around before they left the castle grounds. He frowned at their sneakiness and decided to follow them.

It was quite a long walk until they reached an outskirt of their land. Sesshoumaru frowned slightly when they entered a very huge cave. Making sure that Inuyasha wasn't able to sense him; he put on a shield around himself so he would be able to follow them more closely without being caught. He then moved swiftly to catch up with them.

"Master doesn't really approve of us doing this Inuyasha-sama, do you think it's not that wise to keep going against his wishes…" Miroku asked quietly.

"Don't worry about my brother," Inuyasha said. "I am the one asking you to help me, so it's not even your fault if we are caught."

Sesshoumaru held in his anger when he heard their conversation, but he kept himself at bay for he wanted to know what they were up to. Soon when they came into the heart of the cave, there was spacecraft as big as half the size of a whale parked in the middle and the cave top was an opening big enough for this craft to fly through. He watched them entered the ship and as fast as lighting he flashed inside on time before the automatic door shut.

Rin took a permission slip and slot it into the database of the ship to inform the authorities that she will be taking her battleship `Valour'. When her permission was approved, she went to get a long black overcoat and slipped it on. The belt of her uniform bares a symbol of `E' representing Eternal. She had a feeling that it wouldn't be wise to expose herself to the place she was visiting and besides it was also good to hide the two guns known as `Xenos Needler' hanging at each side of her waist. Pacing back to the ship docking area, she hoping that she didn't come across Kagome and Sango because she didn't want to answer any questions at the moment. She wanted to make sure her information she got from the system was true. If so, she will have to inform Kaede at once.

She was thankful when she reached the docking bay for her battle ship without encountering the two people she didn't want to see at the moment. Using the ladder already prepared for her to enter the battleship on the top entrance; she opened the lid and slid into her seat. Starting up the ship the entrance of her docking bay slid upwards as space came to view. She sped out into nothingness as fast as the speed of light…

"We need to get to Zealot City to get some supplies for this craft." Miroku said. "Before we go up to space it is better to be prepared."

"Well, I guess," Inuyasha replied hesitantly. "I know nothing of this sort, so what ever you say…"

Sesshoumaru stood in the shadows watching them, and heard that they were going to Zealot City; a place full of human scum at the outskirt of the Youkai Lands. They had stayed there for centuries building themselves homes and leaving like savages. When youkai visited those areas was only to catch some humans to be sold at the market area. However, very recently they had come up with defensive shield to protect their city and youkai dwellers had a hard time kidnapping them then.

"Don't worry; humans at Zealot City have weird believes…" Miroku chuckled slightly. "They think demons are Gods…"

"But I heard that they had been using shields to keep us away from them…" Inuyasha replied.

"That is true but that shield is only to keep other youkai such as the stray once at bay…" Miroku explained. "They think really highly of Youkai Lord like yourself. They will be willing to do anything for you. All you have to do is ask…"

Inuyasha remained silent at Miroku's statement but however their silence was then broken when Sesshoumaru spoke making the both of them jumped so high they almost hit the top of the ship.

"And what the hell do you think you are doing Inuyasha?"

"Oniwei…." Inuyasha stammered slightly. "I…"

"I told you that I do NOT want…"

"You followed me?" Inuyasha cut him off suddenly feeling annoyed.

"So what if I did?"

"I am no longer a child Sesshoumaru…." Inuyasha retort. "I have my right to do whatever I want!"

"I will treat you like one if you continue to act like one…"

"I'm sorry to interrupt masters…" Miroku said silently. "But we have already arrived at Zealot City."

Sesshoumaru turned towards the wide glass screen to see the City of Zealot stretched before him. His eyes narrowed slightly at the scenery. It was very different from the time he had visited Zealot one thousand years ago. The city now was filled with weird flying objects and skyscrapers.

"This is Zealot City?" Sesshoumaru whispered as he stared at it slightly shocked though he didn't give his expression away. "When did Zealot change?"

"Maybe years ago Master." Miroku said. "I'll be landing here at the dock…"

Rin landed in a dock and pushed the lid of the entrance door at the top of the ship and pocked her head out looking at the bustling city.

"Zealot City…" Rin whispered as she climbed out to the top and stood there for a moment looking around.

The wind was strong as it blew her hair around her face and making her long black overcoat flew up backwards giving it a cape look. Using her leg she kicked the lid of the top entrance shut and jumped down to the ground. After that she pressed a tiny button on her belt and a shield automatic appeared protecting her ship before she walked deeper into the city.

When Sesshoumaru, Inuyasha and Miroku reached the dock, the first thing Sesshoumaru saw was that enchanting girl at the market place standing on top of a ship not far from where they had landed. She looked really different in a long black coat as it flew up behind, revealing her long slender legs covered in a fitting black pants and a pair of black boots, her long hair flying around her face as she stared hard into the city. She looked like a dark angel in those clothes, giving her a dangerous look but still she looked ravishing. Sesshoumaru couldn't help himself but notice a slight cleavage shown at the top of her coat where a few of her top buttons were unfastened showing off her milky white and glowing skin.

"How do we get off the ship?" Sesshoumaru whispered hoarsely his eyes still fixed on the girl watching her jumping off her ship and walking away from the dock swiftly. "And make it quick."

"Hai," Miroku stammered slightly at the sound of Sesshoumaru's fierce growl at his last sentence.

Rin could see thousands of human beings walking up and down the street and above her were aircrafts flying around busily. She blinked, almost stunned at the atmosphere of Zealot City. The last time she heard about this city was from an elderly crew in Eternal who had passed on years ago. This elderly crew loved to tell Rin, Kagome and Sango about Zealot City a place where she had grown up in before she was chosen to fly with the other crews on Eternal. She was a very skilled mid wife and at that time there were a few women pregnant on board and there weren't any doctor on board.

The stories that she had told was very different from the Zealot City she was walking in right now. According to the elderly woman, the city was filled with traditional surroundings. There weren't skyscrapers around but wooden houses or tents. Humans lived wild and scavenge for food. A Cyber Bar and Café that Rin walked by gave her an impression that this people had not scavenge for their living for a long time; but where did they get supply for food? Rin wondered inclining her head slightly.

Sesshoumaru watched the girl from afar his eyes narrowed dangerously as she stopped for a moment at some food shops. When she started walking again he followed until she came across a huge black, blue and grayish skyscraper. She looked up at the building for a moment before she entered through the tinted glass door.

Rin was stopped instantly at the front entrance of the skyscraper. Two huge men stood at either side of her pointing what look like a gun at her but she known it better. Those guns were called `Xenos Needler 2' it is more advanced then the ones she carried. The weapon has a same function like hers which shoots poison into the blood stream killing any human and youkai slowly by burning every living tissue in their body. However this gun those men were holding also produced lasers which burn through any type of metal and will also kill any humans and youkais instantly. She frowned at them.

Why would they need to attack a human being? Rin wondered angrily. And how did they get this kind of weapons…

"Who are you?" One of them asked. "And what business do you have here?"

"I am here to see your leader…" Rin replied as she stood on guard her hands ready to pull out her `Xenos Needler' if she finds them a threat. "I have some business about work employment…"

"Master didn't say anything about anyone coming for employment today." That man said frowning at her the `Xenos Needler 2' poke the side of her head slightly. "Besides he is not in…"

Rin lowered her hands from her weapon slowly then frowning slightly watching them both cautiously. When they made no move to lower their weapon; Rin jumped up swiftly her right leg aiming at their hands turning one full swing around in the air, she kicked their weapons out of their hands so speedily they didn't even know what happened. Their `Xenos Needler 2' flew high in the air; Rin landed graceful on both her legs and with an immediate movement, she caught both their weapons in her hands when it dropped down from the air and pointed them at their heads then.

Sesshoumaru's mouth nearly dropped opened when he saw the way Rin had moved to get those weapons out of those men's hands. Then another thing that stunned him was the way she caught those weapons in her hands as if she used them everyday.

"Answer me one thing," Rin said menacingly. "Your leader, what is his name?"

"Naraku…" The man stammered looking at the `Xenos Needler 2' pointing at him now. "He told us his name is Naraku… the Lord of Hell..."

Rin eyes widened, so it is true… she thought. These humans are working for a youkai… but how did come to this place… and why are these human beings helping him…?

After staring at the two shivering men before for a moment she finally lowered the weapons and turned around; keeping their weapons away in her jacket. What she couldn't do is to kill another human which was her own kind. She must as well take their weapons and leave this place at once. She had so much to tell Kaede and so many other things to figure out. Knowing that she was no longer safe in Zealot City, she made her way back to the dock quickly but she didn't know that she had something else waiting for her. As soon as she turned around the corner of a deserted alley way between two skyscrapers, someone grabbed her waist from behind and the other hand clasped her mouth.

"So little one, what brings you to that place and fought with two men…"

Rin froze when she heard that voice. She jerked her head away from his hand and turned her head around looking into a very familiar pair of golden eyes. This time those eyes sparked with amusement as he looked back at her.

"Let me go, or I'll shoot you." Rin whispered wrathfully. "I would really do it this time."

"But why didn't you do it the first time?" He mocked her. "Instead you gave me a kiss that I could never forget…"

Rin remained silently trying to move only to realize that both her hands were trapped at her side as his arm wrapped around her tightly. She turned back to him angrily.

"I only did that to distract you so that my partners would be able to do their job…" Rin replied heatedly. "Now let go of…"

Her sentence was cut shot when Sesshoumaru turned her around and crushed his lips down on hers. Rin's eyes widened when she felt his fierce and most demanding lips pressing down onto her lips. She squeezed her lips shut tight not wanting him to plunge his tongue into her mouth. She could feel the tip of his tongue teasing her as he licked her lips.

Sesshoumaru didn't want to push away the urge to ravish this intoxicating nymph in his arms when her flashing and most exquisite eyes bored back into his heatedly sending him off his limit and her scent overwhelming him in such heights he finally lost himself. He could feel her resisting him as he pressured his lips on hers demanding entry. She would have to learn not to resist him, as he smiled inwardly teasing her lips with his tongue. He could feel her shivered slightly as her scent started to change as her pleasant scent of excitement mixed together with her usual peaches and strawberries.

Rin could feel him compelled against her lips demanding entry as she still refused to give in. she could feel one of his hands roamed around her bare top and stopped around her cleavage stroking between them giving her a slight shudder down her spine. His other hand wrapped around her small waist tightly so she couldn't escape from him. Her whole body felt so hot, she thought she was going to be burn as he continued his stroking and licking.

Still so stubborn, Sesshoumaru thought as he started to part her lips slightly with his tongue and it came with contact with her teeth jammed tightly together. He could feel her tensing up slightly. One of his hands that was on her cleavage had started unbuttoning her top coat slowly and pulled her orange tank top lower so that he could be able to cup her breast in his hand feeling her silky skin and playing around with her nipple which was already hard from his fondling.

She likes what I'm doing… Sesshoumaru thought as he heard her gasped softly as she parted her teeth slightly for him to plunged his tongue inside though it was still not enough. Soon she will give in. Her scent is giving her away too much even though she is still resisting me… I will make her give in to me completely. He thought seductively.

Rin couldn't hold in any longer when she felt the youkai's hand cupped her round delicate flesh on her chest sending heighten feelings through her whole body. She had parted her teeth a little when she gasped allowing him to plunge his tongue in her mouth slightly more than before his tip of his tongue touching hers slightly sending pleasure through her whole body. Her mind was screaming to stop this at once, though her body wasn't responding to her but only this youkai's touches. It infuriated her, as tried to concentrate on how to escape. On her slight consciousness she realized that the youkai had already loosened his grip around her allowing her arm to move. Quickly she seized her weapon and pointed it at his head.

Sesshoumaru froze when he felt the weapon at the side of his head and frowned pulling back from her but still not wanting to let her go.

Infuriating little wench… he thought angrily. She is really good in resisting me… never once has anyone resist me before… they usually give in… but this stubborn wench…

"Let me go now…" Rin whispered hoarsely her face flushed from the intense fondling of her body. "I mean it this time… I'll shoot!"

Sesshoumaru release her slowly, he should have thrown those weapon away from her when he had the chance, how careless he could be… his eyes lowered towards one of her exposed breast. It looked so ripe and round he just couldn't help himself but think how nice it would taste in his mouth.

When Rin realized what he was staring at, she blushed harder and pulled up her tank top, refastened the top buttons of her coat quickly.

That incredible, hentai! Rin thought the weapon still aimed at him though her hands shook slightly.

"Don't try to follow me!" She exclaimed.

With that she turned around and fled, not turning back and wishing he wouldn't run after her. She knew that she couldn't be able to make herself to shoot this attractive youkai. Even though how much she loath him. She raced to the dock and to her ship. Pressing the button on her belt to erase the shield she ran to the back entrance of the ship as she placed her palm on a lock pad identification only to her palm print opening the back automatic door. She ran in even before it was fully opened.

Sesshoumaru watched the girl running away, even she told him not to follow he did. His heart sank slightly to see her boarding her ship. However, his prayers seemed to be answered when Inuyasha and his slave came back with their supplies.

"Human," Sesshoumaru turned towards Miruko. "I want you to follow that craft…"

Miruko turned towards the silver and orange battleship bewilderedly, though not daring to question the Mighty Lord. He nodded. Inuyasha on the other hand, shot Sesshoumaru a curious and suspicious look.
