Previously in chapter 1:

"Oh, can't you put two and two together you moronic numbskull?" Kagome asked impatiently. Without waiting for an answer she went on,

"Kikyo used the perfume to try and distract you so she could run you through, idiot."

"Oh." He said intelligently, "I knew that!"

Chapter 2:

Documents and a Gallon of Lighter Fluid

Miroku's lovesick face swam into Kikyo's vision. His face glowed adoringly (AN: Fuki: more like pervertedly… Aurora_thorn & physco_bitch: will you SHUT UP?)as he stared into Kikyo's half awake, and now annoyed eyes.

"Up already my angel of beauty?" CRUNCH. The smile still permanently plastered on his face, Miroku fell sideways with a soft thunk. Kikyo rubbed her hand, cringing a bit.

"God, no wonder he's so stupid; his head's so hard a grain of freaking knowledge couldn't seep in even if it tried!" Miroku popped up miraculously better,

"I love `em feisty!"

"FUCK YOU ASSHOLE!"

CRACK. Miroku keeled over yet again. Sango entered Kikyo's room, smiling inwardly.

"I see you've woken up already, Kikyo." Kikyo nodded gravely as she kicked Miroku, as roughly as she could, out the door (AN Aurora_thorn: Ha, serves him right, the pervert! Fuki: *sulking* But I liked that guy! physco_bitch: Did she ask you? *holding duct tape menacingly*)

"Will that bastard ever stop being so perverted?" she grumbled furiously.

"Oh, come on Kikyo, he cant help it" (AN: p_b & A-t: OH, YES HE CAN!) Sango said calmly, "Anyways, I brought some tea and sushi to cheer you up!"

"Sushi? For breakfast?" Kikyo asked. God who did these people think they were? She wasn't so badly hurt that they could get away with giving her sushi for breakfast! Anyways, if they were doing this because the boys had raided her Lucky Charms again it was gonna be war!

"No silly!" laughed Sango, "It's already 2 o'clock!" sometimes Kikyo was clueless as Inu Yasha!

As the two of them ate, Kikyo watched Sango carefully. She seemed really happy for Sango. Why? What had happened? Was there something that Sango wasn't telling her? A new discovery or something? It frustrated Kikyo to not know what Sango was so overly cheerful about. Kikyo patted Sango's little cat, Kirara, absently.

"Oh, yeah, I almost forgot! We got a giant lead on the whereabouts of Kazushi Mori, you know, the person who supposedly devoted her life to finding out everything she could about the Demon Song Document!" Sango said without taking a breath. Well that answered a lot, thought Kikyo.Why does all the good stuff happen when I'm unconscious?

"How long have I been asleep anyways?" inquired Kikyo.

"Well, aside from knocking you out, Kagome also tried to kill you by over dosing you with sleeping pills, but we stopped her before she could, so she just made you unconscious for ten days." Kikyo made a mental note to kill Kagome when she saw her next.

"So…" Kikyo prompted.

"Right, so Sesshomoru tracked her to a small town outside of Kimara. We think she has very valuable information about the Document."

"Hmm… Sounds sketchy." concurred Kikyo.

"MEOWW!!!!!!"

"Oh my god! That's Kirara!" cried Sango. She bolted out of the room, Kikyo at her heels. Sango was worried, it wasn't a good time for a battle, with Kikyo hurt (well recovering) and Kagome in the village buying supplies; they were short two people!

"Shhh…" Inu Yasha scanned the forest for any sign of movement.

"If the girls find us we'll get in even more trouble than the last time we raided Kikyo's Lucky Charms!" The three men shuddered as they remembered. NEVER steal Kikyo's Lucky Charms…

Kirara moaned through her teeth as she looked up at Inu Yasha, the now conscious Miroku, and Sesshomaru. Sesshomaru was sniggering uncontrollably as he watched the pitiful little creature. (AN Fuki: *shudder* Sesshomaru sniggering… 0.o)

"Ha, ha, he, he…" Sesshomaru just couldn't help himself, it was so funny!

"Sesshomaru, SHUT UP!" Inu Yasha whispered urgently. He had spotted Kikyo and Sango on the path. They were scanning the trees, probably looking for poor Kirara. He glared at Sesshomaru evilly, and then glanced back at the girls. They were getting nearer.

"Sesshomaru, think Lucky Charms…" Immediately Sesshomaru stopped sniggering and looked at Inu Yasha with a look of pure terror. He shuddered violently.

"KIRARA?!" Sango's voice rang through the trees. The men exchanged worried glances. Suddenly Kikyo's face appeared above the bush they were hiding behind.

"Calm down Sango, Kirara's over here with the boys!" Sango rushed over, scooped up the cat and squeezed her. The cat tried to give a strangled moan but instead flames skirted from her mouth. Sango screamed and dropped her. Her kimono had caught fire and she was desperately trying to distinguish it.

"WHAT HAVE YOU BASTARDS DONE TO HER FUCKING CAT?!" Kikyo screamed furiously at the three men that were trying to stealthily sneak away.

"Errr…" Inu Yasha searched for the right worlds to explain the incident.

"It was only one bottle of lighter fluid!" cried Miroku. Instantly he regretted his worlds as every one of the others glared at him, including Sango, who had successfully put out her kimono fire.

"YOU FED KIRARA LIGHTER FLUID?" Miroku nodded guiltily, "YOU SON OF A BITCH!" Sango had had enough. She was going to end this insolent nonsense right now.

Kagome had come back from the village and had treated their wounds because neither Kikyo nor Sango would. Kikyo was in too much of a bad mood to remember to kill Kagome and everything was peaceful (as much as it ever would be).

As soon as the men woke, they were going to head out for Kimara. Finding the woman Sango had talked about wouldn't be too hard, but Kikyo still had her doubts. It was strange, why was Kikyo so doubtful anyways? Everyone else seemed so sure it was fine. Kikyo decided to worry about it when they got there. By the size of the lumps on each of Inu Yasha, Sesshomaru and Miroku's heads, it might be a while.

Coming up:

On arriving in the village where Kazushi Mori is supposedly living, they find that they have just missed her. A coincidence? Kikyo doesn't think so.
