“Kagome you think we could leave today?” Inuyasha growled, “At this rate Nuraku will have all the jewel shards and you'll still be packing”
“Calm down Inuyasha, we told Sango and Miroku we'd be back by sundown and its not even noon.” Kagome rolled her eyes and the bad tempered hanyou, “And is it really so bad for us to take a break?” She smiled and turned back to her bed, which was covered with textbooks, clothes, shampoos, and other supplies. “Now if I take my math books,” she mumbled to her self caught up in her planning, “Will I still have room for my first-aid kit? And I promised Sango I'd bring her some more shampoo…”
Inuyasha angrily turned away as Kagome sorted through mounds of stuff for the feudal era. `I don't see why she needs all that stuff anyway' He thought to himself, `Nobody else back there uses it and if you ask me its better that way.' He looked one more time at the furiously packing teen and jumped to sit out on her roof. `It's not really Kagome's fault, I just hate leaving Miroku and Sango with all the attacks going on.' Nuraku was strengthening that much was obvious, even the peaceful demons like foxes were starting to attack people due to his aura. Inuyasha's gang had four shards and that was enough to have Nuraku at their throats. `Even Kaeda's village isn't safe anymore.'
“Hey Inuyasha?” Kagome's voice sounded at his ear. He turned to look. “You know we trust you, right?”
He looked at her confused to what she meant, “What you mean trust me?” He asked irritably, trying to hide the concern his former thoughts had brought.
“I know things have been…hard for you, especially since Sango was hurt.” Inuyasha flinched at the memory of the demon slayers wound, her chest ripped open by demon talons, reeking with the smell of poison. “I just want you to know that we trust you to help us. We know that you'll always help us.”
Inuyasha looked away, “Yea, whatever.” He said gruffly. Kagome smiled and turned back to packing.

Nuraku angrily gripped the red orb that was his latest minions heart. “Tetsuya you have failed me.” He ignored the screams of his “son” until they became groans and then whimpers. “Know that if you are to fail me again I will not be so lenient.” He let go of the glowing orb and let it roll onto the ground. “Get out.” Tetsuya dragged his tortured frame out of the room where his master sat. His “sister” Kanna regarded him coldly as he limped out, if a child born of the voids look can be anything other then cold.
Nuraku angrily slashed the wood of his room with claws that leaked acid. “Inuyasha,” He thought aloud, “You and your pathetic group are still alive, this cannot continue.” He glared at the furnishings in his room with glowing red pupils, thinking of a way to deal with the hanyou and his group.
`I must deal with them separately,” Nuraku smiled as the seeds of a plant sprouted in his mind. He smiled as more and more plots came with the first intricately winding around one another. His smile grew more grotesque as his scheming went on. “No quick death for you, Inuyasha.” He said as his eyes lit up with pleasure. “You will be the last to die, riddled with the pain of knowing you were responsible for the death of you companions.”
All but one. Nuraku's eyes glowed brighter then before. “Kikyo's incarnate I will keep for my own amusement.'
