Chapter Nine. "The Deciever again"
The collision of Naraku's and the lords' forces exploded, Kagome watched on the highest point of view, it looked like a tital wave. Sesshomaru and Onekai were still visible though, they weren't trying, it seemed all to easy for them, the other demons seemed too fragile and...unreal. But this was what Kagome thought.
"Kagome." A voice whispered. Kagome turned around to find no one but the servants standing aside watching the battle as well, Kagome's heart pounded, it sounded like...Inu Yasha. She rushed through the maids and into the edge of the forest, "...Ka..gome.." the voice became clearer and louder. She couldn't believe what she heard, who's voice she heard, it was impossible, "come closer, I'm right here..." she went deeper inside. just behind some leaves, he was there. Kagome shook her head in disbeliefe, Inu Yasha smiled warmly with a glow around him, "Kagome..."
"No...no.." she denied the thought of him comeing back to life, "It's..."
"It's me...Kagome." Inu Yasha reached out his hand, "can't you recognize me?...I...came here to let you see me, to let you know I'm doing fine, and never give up hope, Naraku must be destroyed...with or without me, you have to do this."
Kagome kept shaking her head, "no...."
"no?"
"You're not him, you can't be him..." she backed away, "stop decieving me, it won't work!" she cried.
"Ka-kagome!" Inu Yasha called.
"I hate you! Stop tricking me! you may look like him, you may sound like him, but you'll never be him! I know who he really is, and you're not him, you...you liar, i'll kill you!" She screamed, even though her arrows weren't there to aid her at the moment.
"Foolish girl!" He hissed, then smirked, "but not so foolish afterall, you managed to see through my mask" his voice split into two, Inu Yasah's, and Naraku's.
"Go to hell Naraku! burn! burn with Kikyo!" Kagome yelled angrily. He simplly laughed, "Stop it! stop laughing!" she screamed. Naraku only laughed harder, "NO!!!" Kagome charged towards him trying to get a swipe at him with her hand, but consumed her in his arms and tighened the hold on her. Then transformed into a black matter taking her whole, Kagome's last scream was muffled.

"What?" Sesshomaru whispered as he heard faint cry.
"Sesshomaru-sama, why do you stop?" Onekai slashed through Naraku's demon.
"She..she's in trouble"
"This is no time to think of a human. She is fine."
"No.." Sesshomaru shook his head.
"Sesshomaru!" this time it was informal, "there is a war raging on around us, their numbers are growing."
"Hm..."

"My..my...my....." she glared at the figure laying on the floor, "what do we have here? a dead little miko?"
"No, she is alive, but not well." Naraku responded.
"Why don't you rid of her?" Kikyo spat.
"Because...we need her."
"For what?" Kikyo glared at him.
Naraku smirked, "You shall see..." he kissed her neck, "soon enough..."
Kikyo pouted and left. Naraku
