Hey to all of the people that are enjoying this story! How! And it's not agonizing to read a bad story cuz' if it's * that * bad then you don't review and you go to another story!! ^-^

My arms almost better! So to all of whom been waiting for me get better I would give another 3 days and I'll be back to normal! K? Thanx for wishing me better and understanding that the chapter will come in slow. But even though you guys hate me doing this I'm still skate boarding (and falling) though now I wear elbow pads. Which is really odd for me cuz' I don't even wear a helmet when I bike! Too bad!

Like I said before this chapter is gonna get deeper in the plot! I hope you don't mind that! The last chapter was fluffy! Of course being the love sick person I am I'll try to put a little bit of fluff- Oh lets just write the disclaimer!

Okay before I do something stupid I wanna say for the 10000000th time I have TERRIBLE grammar AND spelling! I have better grammar than spelling! (Which is scary!) You be the judge tell me which is worse my grammar or spelling! I personally think my spelling but remember I have spell check so yea take that into consideration!

~*~*~*~ Chapter 6: In the middle, part 1 ~*~*~*~

Winds whispered through my silky ears as I lifted my head in the afternoon's humid winds. The last few days had been sunny warn and simply enjoyable. Today otherwise was a piece of cramp. The dense air surrounded you as think black clouds floated above your head. A silver raindrop fell on my palm as I stretched my arm out.

"Inuyasha you should head in now! It's starting to rain." Called Sango from the hut as Shippo poked his head out the doorway.

"Like I didn't know that already!" I snapped.

"Calm down Inuyasha, Sango was just being nice!" My mate pacified. I immediatly changed my irritated face to peaceful one.

"Feh!" I snorted. Kagome rolled her eyes at my immature behavior.

"Come on Inuyasha lunch will be ready soon anyway!" Miroku encouraged.

"Fine…" I mumbled hopping down from the wooden fence walking into the hut. Kagome instantly massaged one of my velvet ears that sat on top of my head. I let out a low growl as Shippo eyed me. Miroku and Sango hopefully hadn't figured out that we had mated. We acted like this before this. But we were more comfortable with each other now. I could see Miroku was starting to catch on. Otherwise Sango and Shippo didn't have a clue.

"What exactly are we having for lunch?" I questioned as Kagome continued to rub my ear.

"Just some rice." Sango replied plainly.

"But didn't we have that yesterday?" Protested Shippo pouting.

"Uh huh…" nodded Miroku poorly.

"Then why are we having again?" Shippo asked in exasperation.

"I know I'm not having it again!" I smirked bitterly.

"We * would * be having something different if you decided to catch some meat for a change Inuyasha!" Fumed Sango.

"Hey! I never caught meat when Naraku was alive and I'm not gonna start now!" I snapped.

"I'm going back to my family tonight. I'll get some Ramens and some other food." Kagome insisted trying to terminate the upcoming battle. Unfortunely we are to deep to put a standstill of this fight. We all ignore my mates pleading voice and continue our enraged chatter.

"Why don't you start? I bet someday you'll have a child and a mate and you'll need to feed them!" Shippo growled.

"I'll catch food when I * need * to catch food and right now we have rice so were fine!" I barked at the Kitsune.

"Guys--" Whimpered Sango not wanting this conflict to get any worse.

"Plus I already have a mate…" I mumbled just loud enough for the Kitsune and the monk to catch. Kagome's cheek instantly flame into red-hot coal as she turn facing Sango. Sango rased her eyebrow in question.

"Kagome," She whispered leaning as close as possible with her ever-growing stomach.

"Inuyasha's your mate?" She finished. She nodded sullumnly.

"Inuyasha you naughty boy!" Miroku smirked as Shippo stared wide-eyed in confusion. Kagome turned around waiting, not denying the inevidible comment from Miroku. Her cheeks still stained with magenta.

"Shutup!" I barked.

"As for you Lady Kagome! I can't believe you would do such a thing!" Miroku grinned mischievously. Kagome face burst into flame as she lowered her head in discomfit and distress.

"Leave her alone!" I hissed at the hentai now noticing my cheeks flared with red much to my disgust.

"Sure all the pleasure!" His mischievous smile only grew larger. My eyes widen in fright. What was the hentai planning this time.

"I can only tease you more about * your * sexuality!" The monk presumed. At the word Shippo eyes snapped completely open aware of everything and understanding what we did. Kagome's and my blush only darkens.

"Kagome when are you leaving?" I questioned nervously wanting to get as far away from the monk as possible. I hated talking about anything to with mating. No matter who I was talking to.

"Leaving where?" She cocked tilting her head.

"Your time!" I exclaimed trying to ignore the snickering monk and his repulsive enlightenments.

"Uh… after lunch if you let me." She explained hesitantly.

"How about you skip lunch and have it in your time and bring me with you!" I exclaimed motioning toward the doorway. I thought she got the idea I was trying to escape Miroku's remark.

"Okay… Let me pack my stuff! Wait here!" Hopelessly walking into the other room. I shake my head in exasperation as I prepare for a hell of a long speech of lechery from our faithful allied hentai.


"Disgusting!"

"Dirty!"

"Repulsive!" I fumed as my mate and I walked toward the well.

"Oh come on Inuyasha Miroku's not that bad! He * did * marry Sango!" My mate protested.

" * That * bad! * THAT * bad!" I snapped giving Kagome a look that could frighten Sesshoumaru.

"He * tried * to show me his thing! You call that not bad!" I fumed. She gave a squirm at the though at it. Kagome couldn't help but let out a snicker at my furiously.

"Foul!"

"Filthy!"

"Unsanitary!" I continue to rant as snickering Kagome lifts up her knee to the edge of the well.

"Here." Kagome said handing me her hand to go to down the well. I stop muttering darkly to get back to what's more important. Getting the hell out of here.

"Lets go!" Exclaimed Kagome as we both jump into the well simultaneously flying through the very fabrics of time.


I sit vibrating me on Kagome's bed as I sulk in silence. The bed creaked every time I bounced.

"Could you * stop * doing that?" Kagome hissed trying to pay attention her studies. I don't see why she's still trying the go to that `school' thing. Why couldn't she just stay with me in the federal era? I shake head no she would miss her family too much. I stop my aggravating bouncing to move to another nervous habit, cracking my fingers.

"INUYASHA!" She exclaimed absolutely in fumed with rage flinging her whole body to face me. I instantly stop in my tracks.

"I have to study I'm so behind in math!" She explained with fury. What is `math'? Whatever it is I better just leave her alone to do it. I hope off her comfortable bed and lean out the window.

"What are you doing?" She questioned now in fright.

"I'm going out so you can study without me making you mad." I explained shyly not wanting to tick of the already flaming Kagome.

"At least put on a bandana or a hat on." She exclaimed walking over and opening one of her dresser draws. She scavenges through hoping to find what she needed.

"Ah ha!" She exclaimed pulling out a red bandana the same colour as my Kimono.

"Look it even matches!" She smirked tying the piece of fabric to my head squishing my ears down.

"Uh huh…" I replied nervously. I escaped from Kagome grasp and jump out the window into the open breeze. Unlike the federal era the sky clear but the weather was much cooler. It was humid back in the federal era while here it is only 15 degrees.

"Where to go? Where to go?" I muttered to myself then fly into the Goshinku taking a good look around. Damn it was hard to see with all those tall buildings that my mate called skyscraper blocking my vision. It was hard to believe the peaceful federal era would one day become this.

"Inuyasha…" I voice called from no where. I ignored it being too caught up in the moment.

"Inuyasha…" It called again this time catching my attention. I whip my head around to and frau trying to figure out where the voice is coming from. I jump down from the Goshinku and walk around.

"Inuyasha…" It called again now figuring out it that the voice was coming from the well. I rushed into the shrine staring at the well that had taken on an irregular glow.

"Who are you!" I snapped into the thin air.

"Inuyasha…" The voice repeated.

"Tell me!" I barked.

"Down the well you must go
With the one you love so
There can be both side of herself.
With danger one side of herself." The voice spoke then the light along with the voice disappeared. The only thing that ran throughout my mind was `Kagome'


I find my mate bellowing my name hunched up in a corner shaking.

"Inuyasha!" Kagome cried leaping into my arms with stricken relief. She muffled my name as tears fell into my Kimono.

"I know I heard something to." I soothed.

"Inuyasha take me down to the well. I have to try to change and then I must go into the well. In there I'll be able to have 2 souls in my body at once. After that I'll know what the well has to do with this." She explained with a rough husky voice. I nodded picking her up.

"You'll be alright. We'll get through this. I promise." I comforted. She nodded but I could still see the fear in her eyes blazing skin deep.

"Okay…" She whimpered as we walked down to the shrine. Silence followed us.

"Inuyasha if you don't see a light when I jump through jump… after me." She exclaimed trying to regain a hold on herself. I nodded. Kagome started to chant what her souls were telling her to chant.

"Turn me
Change me
Turn me
Change me
In the middle
In the middle
I'll be free"

I watched as my beloved started to transform only hoping she would be all right…

Sorry about the cliffhanger but I couldn't do the next part in Inuyasha's POV or it'd be pretty boring. Inuyasha sitting there, waiting for the light… I don't even wanna write that. So yea I really hope you like that chapter. Next chapter `In the middle, part 2.' Hope you enjoyed it!
