Chapter Two:The Siblings Are Back

"I don't know how many more times I can come here hoping they're alive, and see that they're not OniiSan." A young woman with midnight icy blue hair stated, as she continued to walk along a forest path.

"Don't worry NeeChan, I'm sure..." The dark red haired man next to her couldn't finish his sentence; he knew the probability of their brother and sisters being alive.

"Never mind, I don't want to think about it. Let's just get there and see if anything has happened." The man nodded, and as they walked a little bit further, they did notice some things.

As they got off the path, there was a clearing that had never been there before. Trees were torn to pieces, blood was everywhere, but the scent was indistinguishable. But it was evident, that a fight had taken place in this area. As they took in more of the sight, they saw smashed boulders, and even a few rotting corpses of tiny animals such as squirrels and raccoons, rabbits and chipmunks. There were even a few birds lying around, their bodies covered in dried blood, battered and broken. The sight disturbed the two people; it sent a shiver down their spines. Someone, or something had been here, and they had fought with something else. The man wanted to turn back, afraid to see what was up ahead, but two certain scents made his mind say 'keep walking forward.' Weary of what was around them, both walked forward, being mindful of the bodies around them.

The woman swallowed hard before stepping forward, into which she knew was another clearing, one that was natural. Both took one more deep breath before taking the last step that would clear them of the obstructing bushes, allowing them to see the clearing. What they saw almost made the woman faint. If it hadn't been for her brother, she would have hit the ground hard. But even for the man, it was hard just looking at the three objects.

"They... They're open." He stated, shocked, his eyes wide with pure shock.

"Uhnnn...." Both of them turned, as they heard someone, well two someone's groan weakly.

The woman's breath was caught in her throat, she couldn't breathe. She couldn't think, could only see what was in front of her. It was like the whole world disappeared and the only things left were her, and the two figures before her. One of them moved its head up, to look up into the man eyes. The figure tried to mouth something, but his mouth wasn't working, his voice wasn't working, his limbs weren't even working. He tried to move toward them, to try and touch their faces, but couldn't bring himself to do so. He couldn't move until his elder sister ran to the figures, enclosing them in her arms. Weeping loudly and willingly, she held the figures tight. Her brother still in total shock, he could only lift his hand to gesture that he wanted to move, but couldn't. Tears of joy poured down his face, and he could smell the tears coming from his sister's face.

The two figures groaned again, they were totally drained of their energy. Being in those caskets with no air hole, even if they were under some sort of spell, left them feeling winded. The messy haired boy tried to speak, but found he still couldn't talk. An auburn haired figure looked at the messy haired one, and mentally shook her head. How weak they felt, it was odd, but comforting that they now knew they were free. Not like they had time to rest though, all of them knew there was still someone to find.

"I-I can't believe you guys are back!" The woman holding the figures sobbed.

"N-Nama, don't cry ok? We're... Ok." Stammered the messy haired boy.

"Don't talk right now Zen, save your strength. You too Kitai..." She sobbed happily, "Where's Sealii?" She asked, sniffling.

"We... Don't know, her grave was opened before ours... I...I think... She may have... Been hurt..." Kitai stated weakly, breathing heavily, her face paled as she spoke.

"I...its ok Tai, Tantan can look for her, I'm sure she's ok." Nama stated, hugging them both tightly, by this time, the red haired man gained control over his mind and body.

"Of course, Sea is most definitely ok, Nama, you should summon Tantan now." Suggested the man.

"Course Ques." Nama focused her energy in her mind, to call out to Tantan.

~Mental Convo between Nama and Tantan~

'Tantan, can you hear me?'

'Mistress Namaiki! What is it you need of me?'

'I need you to search for Sealii. Tai and Zen are alive, that means she has to be alive also.'

'Of course, consider it done my Mistress.'

~End of Convo~

"She's on her way now to go and find Sea. I hope that she's alright." Ques put his hand oh Nama's shoulder for reassurance, making Nama think to herself, 'Inuyasha, you better have found my sister. And you best be taking care of her.'

Nama mentally laid a hand on her neck, where she felt a strong tingling feeling. Her mating mark was telling her, that her mate was close by. She sighed, supposing he had some bad news for her. Lately, it seemed that was all he could ever give her. Sometimes, she had her mate, Sesshomaru, check the grave sites, just to make sure nothing had happened. Vaguely, she wondered if he had anything useful to tell her this time. Actually, she wondered if he had anything good to tell her for that matter. Sighing once again, she waited patiently for him to arrive, which seemed to her, he was taking his time.

The bushes rustled, and a tall figure stepped out of them, "So they are alive? While I checked the other day, only one was freed." The stotic youkai, that was Sesshomaru stated.

Nama's eyes bulged, she clenched her fists, her voice shaking with anger, "And how long ago did you check, Ses.Sho.Ma.Ru?"

He didn't even flinch at her anger physically, but mentally, he was cowering behind a huge mountainous wall, "Two days ago Namaiki." He started, and decidedly, he'd leave out the part that Inuyasha had now been alive for a while, "She had been hurt, but she was fine. Whatever wounds were afflicted on her, didn't do too much to weaken her."

"You're lucky Sesshomaru." Her eyebrow twitched, sometimes her mate could be so annoying, but hell, she loved him.

The other three siblings looked on, a kind of astonished, blank look, "I'm sure that's not the whole story." Zen stated low under his breath, knowing his eldest sister was so pissed, she hadn't noticed.

"So do you know where she is now...? Sesshomaru?" Nama questioned, raising one brow, and looking at him knowingly.

There was a long pause before Sesshy spoke, "No I do not. The human girl Rin, and Jaken got themselves into trouble. When I returned from them she was gone." Yeah, he lied, so what the hell are you going to do about it people? The stotic youkai lied, like anyone really gives a shit. Anyways... (Sorry ^^;;;; ) The stotic youkai kept his cool, calm, collective, emotionless face.

"I see, well whatever." Her cerulean blue eyes looked towards the sky, smiling, she'd finally have her family back.

"Namaiki, have you not noticed your barrier... It has been changed." The silver haired man allowed his eyes to scan the area.

"Yes it has, maybe that's why we can't seem to smell anything. Well, nothing that'd tell us anything about Sealii anyway." She stated, looking around, she figured, today was just going to be one of those days, where all hell'd break lose, but in the end it's actually fine that is has.

"Oh dear, I don't know where in the heavens I should start to look for my Mistresses OneeSan. May KamiSama send me someone to help!" Tantan was walking aimlessly around the lands of Musashi. No clue as to where to start her search for the kitsune family's sister, even though she could sniff out the girls sent, there was still a lot of land to cover.

The usagi's head titled backwards to sniff the air, and caught a strange scent of Sakura blossoms. Finding it odd since the blossoms would all have died about now. Curious as to where the scent was coming from, Tantan walked through a huge forest. Knowing she was coming closer to the scent, she stepped warily, making sure she didn't make herself noticed. What she saw surprised her to no ends, it was a girl, around the age of 15 maybe 16, wearing the strangest clothes she ever did see. Tantan watched the girl closely, and found it even stranger that she was looking down a well, smiling, like there was something down there that would make her happy. Before she could do whatever it was that she was going to do at the well, Tantan, not using her brain, mindlessly jumped out of the bushes and ran to the girl.

"Please, Miss!! Please, can you help me? I'm searching for someone; please do you think you could help me?" As she ran and voiced her question, the usagi mentally kicked her own ass, how could she just run into the open, what if this girl was a huge youkai in disguise.

"Huh?" The raven haired girl turned around and gasped, "That is one huge usagi youkai." She stated, then remembered hearing it asking her to help, "Um, what is it that you need help with?" She blinked, then hit herself mentally, 'Duh, the usagi just said she needed help finding someone.'

"My Mistresses OneeSan! I need to find her, it is urgent that I do. My Mistress misses her OneeSan dearly; they have been separated for at least 50 years!" The girl, to Tantan, was nothing but a mere mortal, well, a miko to be more precise, but more to the point, would not hurt her, and therefore would be safe to tell the girl a little about her predicament, but being a miko, why wasn't that she didn't know of this particular girl?

"50 years?!" The raven haired girl gasped, knowingly and thinking that the usagi must be talking about her newest friend Sealii. To be bluntly honest, she was at the well, about to go home, not because of an argument with Inuyasha, but because he... Let her. (A/N Whoooo I know scary O.O)

~Flash back~

'You sure Inuyasha?' Kagome had questioned, not exactly believing what she was hearing.

'Yeah I'm sure, you deserve some time to rest in your era with your family.' He knew Kagome didn't believe him, but he knew she needed time to rest, they all did.

'Thanks Inuyasha, I think I will go home for a while. Besides, I need to stock up on something's.' Kagome stood up, and looked at her friends, 'Is there anything you guys want me to get?' She asked, smiling.

'No thanks.' What he really wanted to say was 'Get me some ramen please!'

'Ooooo, those crayons and paper! Oh and pocky!' Shippo squealed happily.

'Whatever you wish to bring us KagomeChan, if you want, just surprise us.' Sango said, smiling happily at her best friend.

'That would be lovely.' Stated Miroku, also smiling.

'Huh?' Sealii was beyond confused.

'Hehe, don't worry, I'll surprise all of you.' With that, Kagome ran out of the hut towards the well, not even waiting for her friends to offer her a ride.

~End of Flash back~

"Well I was going to go back to my era, but I think I can help you." Kagome stated more to herself then the usagi youkai.

"Oh thank you! Thank you, thank you, thank you! You don't know how happy you have made me; it is truly hard to find someone kind enough to help a total stranger. Especially someone that is quite, intimidating." Tantan stated, a little sadly.

"I don't think you're intimidating, you gave me a startle when I first saw you. Since usagi youkai normally aren't your size, but then again after all I've seen, I'm not surprised...." She paused, "Listen to me blabber, well I'll stop talking, and I can take you to Kaede's Village, I think you may find your person there." Again she smiled, and the usagi smiled back.

"Domo arigatou, oh, and by the by, my name is Tantan, I serve under the ruler of the Northern lands. Mistress Namaiki will most certainly thank you properly for helping me." She bowed low to the ground, one arm extended out, the other crossing her chest.

"Nice to meet you Tantan, I'm Kagome... Wait... Did you say Namaiki?" Tantan nodded, "Then I know exactly where the person you're searching for is." Kagome smiled brightly.

Tears came to Tantan's eyes, "Oh thank you KagomeSama, thank you so much!" With that, they both went running back to the village.

"Wait, TantanSama, Nama doesn't want her to... Leave us, does she?" It hit Kagome, that Sealii's sister might want her to leave her new friends, but Kagome didn't want this.

"No, if I may say, I'm sure My Mistress will come to her OneeSan, rather then have her come to My Mistress. Besides, it would be an excuse, for not going to one of those stupid gatherings about that stupid shape shifter, Tanknu or whatever the name is." Stated the usagi, her nose twitching.

"You mean Naraku? What do they know of him?" Questioned Kagome, glad that Sealii could stay, but hoping she'd learn more about Naraku's whereabouts, since they had gotten away from Mount Hakurei, they hadn't heard anything about the evil hanyou.

"Nothing more then what Lord Sesshomaru knows." She stated grimly.

As they ran the rest of the way, they didn't talk. For about five minutes, they followed a grassy path towards the whole of the village, but once they saw the dirt path that led directly to Kaede's hut Kagome instructed to jump onto it and continue down. Meanwhile, in the hut...

"I seriously don't know why you think that." A ferocious blush crossed Sango's cheeks, Kirara mewed happily in her lap.

"But it's so plainly obvious." Stated Sealii, Shippo looking up at her assured face from her lap.

"It is not." Sango protested, her face getting redder.

"Why do you say that?" The kitsune girl cocked a brow, Shippo laughed inwardly, she'd get Sango to admit she loved the monk sooner or later.

"Cuz I don't love that lecher!" Sango whispered, but it was a yelled whispered.

"But you do." Suggested Sealii.

"What are you two ladies talking about?" The monk Miroku questioned, looking innocently at the two girls.

"Miroku, just shut up and butt out of their conversation, it's nothing interesting anyways." Yeah he could hear what they were saying, yeah he let Kagome go to her time, no for once, this actually didn't irritate him. He knew they all could use a rest.

"Inuyasha, you baka, stop listening!" Sealii shouted, throwing a small fist of hay, failing in even getting close to him.

"Nice weapon, where'd you get it?" Inuyasha asked sarcastically, he knew this would just earn him a dark stare.

"Whatever." The girl turned, and the two girls began to talk again.

"Hm, I sense Kagome. She's running really fast too." Inuyasha clutched Tetsuseiga, hoping to all the KamiSama's in the clouds that Kagome wasn't in danger.

"Well, I can tell it's not out of fear, I don't sense that emotion around her Inuyasha. It's more like... I dunno, like a feeling of duty, like she has to come back." Said the chestnut haired kitsune girl, shrugging off that she could be in danger, but keeping her senses open for anything.

"Hold up... Isn't that... Tantan's scent?" The inu hanyou looked to the kitsune hanyou, and she finally noticed it was Tantan's scent.

Just as Kagome and Tantan were nearing the hut, Inuyasha, Sango, Sealii, Shippo, Miroku, Kirara, and the silent Kaede walked out of the hut. "Hey you guys!" Kagome yelled, waving her hand happily, and smiling as she did so.

"KagomeChan, I thought you went back to your era!" Sango said, glad to see her friend came back so soon, but suspicious of the youkai running with her.

"I was, but this usagi TantanSama said she was looking for someone. I believe..." Kagome was cut off by a loud cry.

"Tantan! Omg it's been forever since I've last seen you!" Happily, the sea foam eyed girl ran up to the usagi, and gave her a huge hug.

"Yes I know Mi Lady, your NeeSan Namaiki has wished that I tell you that Master Zenzuishi and Lady Kitai are alive. Oh, I must inform your NeeSan of your whereabouts! She is most worried about you Mi Lady!" Tears were running down her furry cheeks, so happy to see her friend.

"Hey Tantan, been a while since I've seen you too." Inuyasha walked up to the usagi, and waved.

"Hai, it has been a while Lord Inuyasha. Nama will be most pleased to hear you both are finally alive again. Knowing Sealii is alive, Nama must already know you are too." Tantan smiled hugely, so happy that her Mistress could finally be happy again.

"What do you mean? I've been alive for a while now. So I'm guessing Sesshomaru didn't tell Nama that he's been trying to kill me." The hanyou's eyes twitched, giving off a blank look, and sighing, just as he'd thought, Sesshomaru had kept his being alive well away from Nama.

"I'm supposing Namaiki will be quite angry will her mate." The usagi shivered, when it came to keeping someone mentally ill, Nama's wrath could keep a whole entire army in a fetal position for years.

"Yup." Stated the hanyou kitsune, shortly after falling over and laughing her ass off.

"Wait, so you know them, and they know you, and you know her siblings, and you need to tell her eldest sister that Sealii's here?" Sango tried to point out all the points, and almost confused herself.

"That is quite right." Smiled the usagi.

"Um, ok." Blinking, Sango didn't actually think she got this situation quite right.

"You are quite large for an usagi, even if you are youkai." Stated Miroku, stepping further towards the youkai.

"Hai, tis true, but I am what I am. You are a monk, are you not?" Questioned the curious usagi.

"Yes, I am a monk." Miroku smiled, proud that she noticed.

"Hmm, a Taijiya no doubt you are Miss..." Tantan began.

"Sango."

"Ah, I've heard that you were the best in your village SangoSama. This usagi knows from her travels around the world. It has also come to my attention that you were traveling with a few others, I'm guessing Lord Sesshomaru made sure that Mistress Namaiki did not find out about this." Tantan laughed lightly, "Let's see, Shippo the kitsune youkai, I knew your parents child, I'm sorry I couldn't have helped you, but I would not have been a huge help. Kirara, the two tailed neko youkai, you're companion yes SangoSama? Hello Kaede it has been a very long time since I've seen you, though you probably don't remember me, since I met you when you were born. So where is the flea Myoga? I was hoping to see him around." She joked.

"Feh, like Myoga would stick around longer than an hour." Surprisingly enough, this was Sealii that said this.

"Whoa, I did not just hear that come from you, did I?" Everyone looked at the kitsune hanyou, then at each other, then at her again. "Do you have something against Myoga?" They all asked.

"Other then the fact that he ditches Inuyasha when he needs help the most, no not really." She stated, smiling and laughing, while everyone else fell over.

"Well enough of this, I must tell Nama the good news." With that, she concentrated in her mind, calling out to her Mistress, not that she was her slave or anything, but the kitsunes parents had saved her, and her family, and she owed them a lot.

~Convo in the mind~

'Mistress, I have found her.'

'Already?'

'Yes, I found a friend of the young Miss', and she led me to where she was.'

'Thank KamiSama, she's alright isn't she?'

'Yes, in peak condition.'

'Where are you?'

'Kaede's Village, the one where that Kikyo miko lived. Oh and Nama, it seems Sesshomaru neglected to tell you Inuyasha has been alive for a while now. And has tried to kill him at that.'

'Thank you Tantan, I shall meet you there tomorrow. Oh and do me a favor.'

'Of course, what is it that you ask of me?'

'Don't tell her I'm coming, I want to surprise her.'

'Of course.'

~End of convo~

As Tantan opened her eyes, the whole lot of them were looking at her. Blinking, she thought that her aura must have gone rampid while she was talking with Nama. Simply trying to ignore the stares, she laughed it away. Picking up that she was getting a little nervous, Sealii giggled with her. The others mentally shrugged, but looked at each other and laughed lightly as well, well Inuyasha didn't, he just blurted out his normal, 'feh.' Once the tiger like usagi stopped laughing, everyone else did, and a few questions arose.

"Hey Tantan, you never told me you knew KaedeBaabaaSan." Said the sea foam eyed kitsune girl.

"True, but as I said, I only met her as a new born. You see Miss, your mother had instructed me to be there to see the births of all priestesses. That's why your mother passed down the ability to see one's future." Ok so that could be better put, but that was the gist of it.

"Future?" While in this time, the future was Kagome's area.

"Well in a way, I am just able to see if they will become a priestess or not. I was there when Midoriko was born, I was there when Kikyo was born, and yes, I was even there when you were born Kaede. Since I was 75 years old, I have been with your mother child, I served your Grandfather before her. And since then, I have traveled, searching for all the priestess, and documenting everything. Nama wishes me to stop this mission, but I find that doing this could help us later on." She smiled, everyone seemed so amazed, the girl that had helped her, Kagome, her eyes were glowing. Probably at the thought that she had gotten to meet Midoriko as a baby.

"Wow that is so cool." Kagome smiled.

"Yes it is, Tantan, do you know, how on earth did Kikyo deceive the demon slayers? Kaede has told us about her, 'adventures.' “Sango stated, she wanted to just how sneaky that witch was.

"I do not know how she did it, because quite frankly, I have no clue as to what you are talking about Miss Sango." Stated the confused usagi.

"Aye, I suppose you wouldn't, but I do. But all I know is that my sister, ne Kikyo is a very tricky person, always working on new ways to disguise herself from people around her, so no one would find out what she did. Tantan, you may not have seen, but Kikyo is... A total bitch." And Kaede said this all with a straight face, while the three girls just blinked at her twice, then fell over laughing their asses off. The men had to snicker, and Tantan mouthed an 'Oh my.'

"So confusing things are these days." Stated the kitsune girl, struggling to get up to her feet. But not for long, since Inuyasha helped her to her feet.

"So I see amends made all those years ago have held. I am glad to see you two are not fighting." Tantan smiled warmly.

"No, that's more Inuyasha and Kagome's field." Sango stated, noticing the confused look the usagi gave her.

"Inuyasha and Kagome constantly argue, it gets so annoying." Stated Shippo coolly.

"Watch it Shippo." Miroku stated almost tauntingly, but it was too late, Inuyasha had hit him upside the head, Shippo wailed, holding his head.

"Inuyasha."

"Damnit not again."

"SIT!" CRASH!!! That sent Inuyasha crashing down into the ground, while the kitsune girl busted up laughing.

"Hahaha!!! You so totally deserved that! You should never hit a child! Hahaha!" She laughed hilariously, Tantan, now quite confused, looked at her.

"Damnit, stupid beads of subjugation, if only I could rip 'em off right now..." With those words the usagi mouthed an 'Oh, ok.'

"I see, your doing I suppose KaedeSama." Stated Tantan.

"Hai, let us just say, Inuyasha was less patient then he is now." Kaede stated.

"You mean he has patience now?" Questioned the kitsune girl.

Inuyasha hit her upside the head, "Of course I have patience!"

She hit him upside the head also, "Like you could tell! And never hit a woman upside the head! Don't hit any of us upside the head unless you want to eat dirt!"

The others looked on, they just kept hitting each other upside the head, and soon, a fight cloud appeared around them. Everyone blinked, and they were supposed to be mates? It seemed they couldn't stand each other, then again, they were most likely looking at this the wrong way somehow. Tantan seemed to know something about this, and smiled happily. They looked at her, yeah, they were definitely missing something here. If this was the way they showed each other they cared, it would probably be best that they just walk away slowly, then run for their lives. Within the fight cloud, you could hear the two... Laughing, and then a "Ha, I told you, you'd eat dirt!" After that the cloud dispersed, and the two figures inside were distinguishable. Sealii was sitting on top of Inuyasha's back, her hand on his head, pushing it into the dirt.

"Geroff me." He mumbled.

"Hahaha, I told you I can still kick your ass Inuyasha! Always have been able to, always will be able to!" She laughed more, Inuyasha popping a vein, hoping to KamiSama he wouldn't have to deal with this as much as he had back then.

The girl released his head, and he looked up, veins popped everywhere, a dangerous fang like grin, without her knowing it, he jumped up, making her fall over onto the ground. Taking the surprise to his advantage, he jumped on top of her, and grinned. 'Ha! Seems I kicked your ass this time Koishii.' He said to her telepathically. 'Only because I let my guard down, next time you won't be so lucky.' She grinned back at him, answering to his words. Everyone was so confused, not knowing why in the world they were both grinning. But finally, when they noticed the others staring at them, Inuyasha got up and helped the girl under him to her feet. Again they grinned, but this time at their friends, and this confused them, except for Tantan, who just shook her head with a sigh.

"Ok, I really have no clue what that was all about, but, I think I'll go to my time now to stock up on some things. I should be back before sunset. Could you wait for me at the well Kirara?" Kirara mewed happily what they guessed was a, 'Sure I can do that.'

"Supposing that's a yes, but how will she know when to be there?" Sango asked, as she watched her best friend pull something out of her pocket.

"Here, this is called a watch, when this small hand is on the 5, and the longer hand is on the 6, have Kirara stay by the well. I should be back around then, seeing as how it's only 8 right now." Sango nodded, and this time Kirara transformed and Kagome jumped onto her back. "See all of you later! Don't get into any trouble Miroku, I highly advise you take that advice!" With that, she waved, and as everyone waved back, Kirara took off to the well.

"Stupid wench, acting like we're all children..." Again he was hit upside the head.

"Well I wonder why Inuyasha." She said menacingly.

"Stupid wench...." He said under his breath, earning him another knot on the head.

"Anyways, what shall we do while KagomeChan is away? Sit and talk, or something.... Ooooo!! Wanna play tag?!" Shippo's face lit up, and everyone else looked at each other, a mental groan voicing in their throats.

"Alright! Who's all gonna play Sealii?!" He asked happily.

"Everyone! Won't we guys?" She gave them all an evil glare, Sango of course didn't mind playing, and just as everyone nodded, afraid of Sealii, Kirara came back, and nodded also when she heard they were about to play tag.

"Most definitely, we'd love to play tag." Sango said, smiling.

"OOOO K! Here's the rule, no using your special senses to sense someone nearby. Meaning, Inuyasha, no using your nose or your ears. Miroku, Sango, no trying to sense auras. Kaede, would you like to join?" She said, demanding the rules, but kindly asking Kaede.

"No thanks child, this old woman is quite tired." Well, it wasn't far from the truth.

"OK! Shippo, would you like to choose who is 'it' first?" She asked the little kitsune kindly.

"Yeah! I want... Miroku to be it!" He yelled happily, everyone mentally fell over, they were expecting him to have Inuyasha be it.

"Good choice Shippo, ok Miroku, stand and face Kaede's hut. Count to one hundred and absolutely NO PEAKING! Our objective, get to the hut without being tagged, if none of us are tagged, then Miroku has to be it again. If someone is tagged, the first one tagged is it." With that he nodded, and went to the hut to count, while the others ran to hide.

Shippo decided he'd go into Inuyasha's forest, and hide in the tallest tree there. Though Shippo found that is was quite tough to get up into the higher branches, until the older kitsune girl picked him up and jumped to the highest branch that would support her and the little kitsune. He smiled up at her, and she smiled to him, then giggled when she felt Inuyasha behind her. She knew he was going to follow her. Sango however along with Kirara and Tantan, were more spread out. Sango ran to the deepest part of the forest, while Kirara sat at the very tip of the highest tree in the middle of the forest, mewing happily. Tantan decided to dig a very long tunnel right under the hut. She grinned, knowing the monk would never be able to tell she was there without trying to sense her there. Meanwhile up in the tree with the two kitsunes and the inu...

"You know he's going to look for us first. He probably knows we're all hiding together. Inuyasha you should hide somewhere else, spread out mon!" Sealii yelled, at the inu hanyou holding her by the waist.

"What if I say no?" He asked, clearly not caring about the game.

"Then I'll move." She said bluntly.

"What about the runt? He should split up too." He said with his uncaring attitude.

"Shippo's no weakling, but if he got stuck up in a tree, or can't get to a spot, then I need to help him. So you go hide somewhere else before Miroku gets done counting." She said, getting really pissed.

"You'll have to literally kick me out of the tree if you want me to move." He said, nuzzling her neck with his nose, taking in her scent.

"Err, Inuyasha you're impossible." She said, giving into his relaxed tone. How could she continue to argue when he was nuzzling her neck like that? I mean c'mon, everyone has their weakness.

"Ugh, do you have to do that in front of me?" Shippo asked, obviously bringing Inuyasha back to their world.

"Sorry runt." He said, not seemingly sounding so sorry, yet he stopped nuzzling his mate's neck, and contented himself by laying his chin on her shoulder.

Shippo didn't say anything, and neither did the kitsune girl, both of them just thought how strange Inuyasha was being. Anyways... Back down by the hut, Miroku had just gotten done counting, he knew Tantan was underground, he could hear her snoring in her tunnel. Deciding it'd be best to look for someone else first, he went off in the direction of the forest. He could immediately see Kirara's tiny beige form from the ground. He thought to use his wind tunnel, but opted not to do so. Now that he knew where two of his friends were, he then decided Inuyasha, Sealii and Shippo would be his next target. Knowing they'd all be relatively close, if not in one spot. Miroku thought back to Inuyasha and Shippo's interests, and knew they'd be somewhere in the trees. Very high up at that, the monk sighed, why did they have to make this so hard on him. The only one that might have actually made things easy for him is Sango, and that wasn't saying much.

The monk tried to think, she'd probably be hiding somewhere dark. And since there was this huge forest, there were many dark places, this would take forever. As Miroku was walking towards the deeper part of the forest, he heard some talking. Betting what he had that it was Inuyasha, Shippo and Sealii talking, he stayed near the tree.

"Inuyasha quit moving, you're going to make Shippo fall." She whispered quite loudly.

"What you're holding him and I got you, you got nothin' to worry about." He said back.

"Oh crap!" The branch had broke, Inuyasha dug his claws into the bark, grabbing onto Sealii's hand, who grabbed onto Shippo's tiny one. But the little kitsune was so nervous, his hand started sweating and he fell from her grasp.

Luckily though, they knew Miroku was down below, not like that'd help. Shippo transformed into his balloon and made his way to the hut. As did Sealii once Inuyasha swung her to a healthy branch. After she jumped off, Inuyasha followed. Miroku noticed this, and knew it was now time to search for Sango. It didn't take him as long as he'd thought to find Sango, because he spotted her looking out of some bushes, probably looking out for him. He slowly began to sneak up on her, his intention; to just hold her in his arms.

That and trying to tag her, but mostly just trying to hold her. Knowing his luck, Sango heard his foot steps before he could get close enough to tag her. Looking away from the clearing in front of her, she saw Miroku, jumped over the bushes and called out to Kirara. Miroku sighed, and decided to go back to the hut. If anyone he could get the usagi.

Yet, he didn't even get the usagi, Sealii was grinning from ear to ear, leaning on the sleeping usagi. Again he sighed, this meant he was once again, 'it.' And again, everyone went somewhere to hide. Over and over again, Miroku was it, he'd lost count. Once it was noon though, they took a break to eat, Kaede had made them a wonderful lunch. After done with eating, Shippo volunteered to be it, he immediately found Miroku, and tagged him easily. He also found everyone else easily too, and so Miroku was it again, and again, and again. While they were having fun, in Kagome's era....

"Hey Mama, Grandpa, Souta." Kagome called to them, as she ran into the house, her limp yellow backpack over her shoulder.

"Oh hello dear, what brings you back? Shall I run a bath for you?" Her mother, Naomi, was a kind woman with short black hair.

"No thanks Mama, I have some shopping to do. But after I get back, that'd be lovely." Kagome said, smiling at her mother, and at the same time, running up to her room to change her clothes.

"Hey sis, welcome home. Is Inuyasha gonna come back for you?" He asked, hoping he'd get to see his hero.

"No, I'm going to do some supply shopping, then I'm gonna go back, Kirara should be waiting for me, which reminds me I have to make sure I get Shippo some paper and crayons." Kagome said aloud to herself and to her brother, 'Hmm, wonder if Sealii would like maybe some drawing pencils and a sketch pad...'

"Oh cool, can I help you?" He asked, hope in his eyes.

Kagome looked at her little brothers big brown eyes, "Sure why not Souta, you can pick out something's for Shippo and Kirara." She said smiling at the boy who was now jumping up and down with joy.

"Alright!" Souta yelled, thrusting his arm upwards into the air.

"Ok, let's get going, Mama! Souta's coming with me ok!" She yelled, Souta's hand in her, dragging him out the door.

"Kagome dear, here's some extra money, just in case." Her mother smiled.

"Thanks Mama, oh, where's Grandpa? I know he'll want me to get him something." Kagome said, in a hurried voice.

"Oh he's sweeping again, he said though that he wished not to be disturbed, you know how he gets on his birthday. Doesn't want anyone to see him get older." Her mother laughed.

"Omg, I forgot! Now I definitely have to get him something! Uh thanks Mama, gotta go!" With that she and Souta ran off.

~4 Hours later, 3:30 pm~

"Man I'm pooped, I didn't know supply shopping could be that tiring." Souta said, plopping down on the couch with three bags in his small hands.

Kagome walked into the house, even more bags in her hands, "Yeah, well try fighting off youkai Souta, Mama, we're home!" She yelled into the house.

"Welcome home you two, Kagome I have a bath running for you now, if you want, I can situate your things in your bag while you relax." She said, as she walked down the stairs.

"Ok, oh, and this is for Grandpa, I almost forgot I had this from the feudal era, I'm sure Grandpa will love it." She said, handing her mother a pendent with a dragon on it. She had found it in Mount Hakurei, to be safe, she had Kaede check it for curses, so she knew it was safe to give to her Gramps. And then she ran off upstairs to strip down and soak in her bath.

"Hm," Her mother smiled, and began to take her supplies out of the shopping bags, and put them into categories. "There's a little bit more here then usual, she must have met another person. Lots of ramen, and pocky, hm, Kirara must have been doing her a lot of favors, there's quite a bit of things for cats here, and I have no clue why she got so many carrots." She mumbled as she sorted, and neatly packed things into Kagome's bag.

An hour later, Kagome came down the stairs, clean and refreshed. Her mother smiled at her, and asked her if she felt better. Kagome nodded happily, she still had an hour before she had to go back.

"So Kagome, did you meet someone else in the feudal era? I'm sure these drawing pencils and sketch pads aren't for Shippo." She said, smiling at her daughter.

"Yeah Mama, two people actually. About two days ago we met this kitsune hanyou named Sealii. And then today I met an usagi youkai named Tantan. But get this, Sealii has four siblings! I'm pretty sure we'll be meeting up with them sooner or later." Kagome said, smiling, and walking into the kitchen to get something to eat.

"Oh, how interesting. Here Kagome, I'll make you something to eat, you just relax. Souta! Is there anything you'd like to eat?" Naomi yelled to her son, knowing he was too engrossed in playing his video games.

"Not right now, thanks Mom!" He yelled, playing games as his mother thought.

"So you are leaving after you eat Kagome?" Her mother asked, while preparing some oden.

"Around 5:30 I'm going to leave, so yeah." Kagome stated, laying her head down on the kitchen table she was sitting at.

Half an hour later, Kagome was served her oden. Gratefully she ate her food, and once she was done, it was time for her to go. Naomi helped Kagome put the now over stuffed bag on her shoulders. Kagome started rethinking about having Kirara be there, it probably would have been better to have Inuyasha carry her pack. But now was not the time to think of that, since what was asked was asked. After saying good bye to her mother and little brother, she asked them to tell her grandpa good bye and happy birthday. Her mother nodded happily and waved good bye. With that Kagome walked into the well house, and jumped down into the now glowing purplish depths.

Kirara and Sealii were both waiting at the well. Sango had suggested that they both go, supposing since Kagome had such a big heart, that she'd bring more then Kirara would have liked. So the sea foamed eyed girl accompanied the neko. No more then five minutes did they have to wait, when they saw the well glow a purplish color. Smiling, Sealii jumped somewhat down into the well, hanging onto a vine, and offered Kagome her hand.

"Hey KagomeChan! Hand me your bag, I'll throw it up." Kagome nodded to the kitsune girl, who took the bag, and climbed up somewhat, and placed her bag gently on the ground outside the well. After that she grabbed the raven haired girls hand and hoisted her up from the well.

"Hey Kirara, thanks Sealii, I don't think I could have gotten up with my bag on my shoulders." Kagome said smiling.

"I noticed, well let's get going. I can carry your bag for you." Again the girls smiled, as Kagome sat upon Kirara's transformed back, and Sealii grabbed her bag, and began their short journey to the hut.

"Damnit, I should've went with them." Inuyasha's leg was going rampid.

"Calm down Inuyasha, they've only been gone for what, seven minutes?" Miroku stated, trying to keep the hanyou calm.

"So what, Naraku obviously has it out for Sealii, who knows if he's tried to attack her again!" He yelled, standing up abruptedly.

"I'm sure they're fine Inuyasha, just sit down." Sango said, trying to reassure him.

"Oi Inuyasha! We're back!" Yelled a very happy kitsune voice.

"See, what did I tell you?" Miroku asked, as they all walked outside.

Tantan and Shippo's eyes bulged at the sight of the bag, "Geez that's one huge bag."

"What the hell did you get Kagome?!" Inuyasha yelled, slightly afraid of the hugeness of the bag.

"Most of its ramen Inuyasha. See?" She showed him the ramen, but put it aside, "I got lots of pocky for you Shippo, crayons and paper too!" She said, handing the items to him.

"Thank you Kagome!" He grabbed his gifts from Kagome, and ran to the side of the hut and started devouring the pokey, and drawing like mad.

"I got this for you Kirara." She handed Sango a little cat ball, cat treats, and lots of fish.

"And this is for you Miroku, and for you Sango." She had gotten some books for Miroku on the teachings of great Buddhists after his time, and some tools for Sango to refine her Hiraikotsu.

"Thank you so much KagomeChan." Sango said, hugging her best friend.

"Hai, thank you KagomeSama." Miroku said, as he bowed.

"I got you some carrots Tantan, and some other things." Kagome said, handing the usagi her gifts.

"I give you my thanks KagomeSama, you are truly kind." She may have kept her voice calm, but she was going hysterical at the sight of all her carrots.

"Oh Kaede, here's that book you wanted on spells, herbs, and legends." Kagome said, handing her the books.

"Domo arigatou KagomeChan." Kaede took the books and walked into her hut.

"Oh yeah, here are some chips and other things too, lots of food. Oh and Sealii, I didn't know what you were into, so I got you a sketch pad and some drawing pencils." Kagome said handing them to Sealii, who had an unreadable expression, which Kagome thought meant she didn't like her gifts.

"Oh... My... Gods! Thank you so much KagomeChan!" She yelled hugging the girl tightly.

"Hehehe, you're welcome Sealii chan." She giggled happily.

"How did you know I liked to sketch?" She asked, her eyes glowing, smiling happily. (Think of Kaoru Kamiya's almost cat like smile)

"I didn't, I just guessed." She answered, waving her hands in front of her face.

"Hehehe, awesome guess KagomeChan." The kit stated, rubbing her cheek against her sketch pad, her hand grasping the pencils.

"Omg, you know what we should do Sango, Sealii?" The two girls looked at her, blinking furiously. "We should have a make over." Kagome grinned evilly, knowing they had no clue what she was talking about.

"A what over?" Asked Sango, voicing the evident confusion.

"Well," Kagome started, but she grabbed both girls by the hands, and asked Kirara to take them somewhere, so the "men" couldn't listen to her explanation. "Well a make-over is when you try new things on your friends. Like new hair styles, new make-up which is... Yeah Sealii?" She asked the kitsune who had her hand raised like a disciplined student.

"Yeah um.... What's make-up?" She asked, completely confused, yeah there was make-up in this era, but she had never really seen any.

"Well, stuff like the eye shadow Sango and Sesshomaru have. There's a lot more than that though, I'll show you. But I was thinking, we could give not only ourselves a make-over, but the guys, since they won't know what we're doing." Kagome said grinning, her index finger extended, making her point.

The kit seemed to be contemplating this, Kirara seemed to know what they were talking about, judging by how she was rolling on the ground. Sango grinned, she had never thought to do something like that, and then Sealii grinned and laughed, "We should so totally do that. They'll never know what hit them." The girls all gave each other a high five. Oh yeah, they were going to have so much fun.

"They ok? They've been gone for a long time." Miroku stated, looking at the ceiling of the hut.

"I'd suppose so, Sealii seems to be really happy about something." Inuyasha said, as he relaxed against the huts door way.

"Really? I wonder why..." He said, thinking his perverted thoughts.

"Don't even think about thinking those thoughts I know you're thinking Miroku." Inuyasha growled at him, keeping his back to him.

"Why Inuyasha, how could you think I'd be thinking of your mate that way? I was merely thinking of Lady San--" Miroku was cut off by a small explosive bomb that Shippo threw.

"I told you monk, don't think what I know you're thinking." Inuyasha growled again, silently thanking the little kitsune.

"Yeah Miroku, I'm just a little kid!" Yelled the child kitsune.

"Aye, and I wish to not hear of your thoughts Miroku." Kaede stated, sipping some tea.

"KaedeSama, I can't believe you too would accuse me of those kind of thoughts." Miroku said, putting his hands up defensively.

"You just said you were thinking like that monk." Inuyasha stated, looking blankly over his shoulder at Miroku.

"Inu's annoyed." Sealii stated out loud, out of no where.

"How do you-- The mark?" Kagome started, the girl just nodded.

"Well, we're on our way back, so I'm sure we'll find out why soon." Sango said, sighing.

Kirara just smiled, a deep growl voice in her throat, possibly meaning, 'Ha, I know why the dogs annoyed, it's something the monk did.'

"No use in keeping him irritated now is there? Or is there reason to keep him irritated?" Asked the kit, being her weird self.

"Is there?" Sango and Kagome both asked at the same time, a clueless expression upon their faces.

"I really don't know, but let's hurry back anyways. I'm hungry." She said smiling, if it weren't for the fact that they were probably 300 feet in the air, the taijiya and the miko would have fallen over.

"Eheh, I see." Both of them gave her a blank look.

"Hey KagomeChan what's your era like? I wanna know." Sealii asked out of the blue, Kagome who was sitting behind Sango, but in front of Sealii looked at the kitsune girl.

"Oh well, probably for you, it'll either be very scary, or really interesting." She answered smiling.

"Knowing me, interesting." She replied, also smiling.

"Hey look, there's the hut!" Sango stated happily, pointing to the hut.

"Ooooo, I can smell food! Good food!!!" Sealii yelled happily.

Kirara landed effortlessly on the ground outside of the hut. The three girls jumped off her back, and the kitsune girl, practically stampeded into the hut. But not knowing Inuyasha had a habit of sitting near the door, she tripped over him, and crashed into Miroku. Worried, Sango and Kagome ran into the hut, only to bust up laughing. Miroku was sprawled out on the floor, unconscious and swirly eyed, Sealii sprawled acrost his stomach, also unconscious and swirly eyed. Kaede also had to laugh, the girl was so eager, she hadn't even bothered to acknowledge that Inuyasha would obstruct her way. If she knew Inuyasha, then his mate was probably somewhat the same when it came to food. And if she remembered right, she'd need to make sure there is always more then enough food.

The sea foamed eyed girl was the first to recover from the small ordeal. Kaede laughed lightly, and served the food to the occupants of her hut. Grinning from ear to ear, Sealii happily took her food, chowing down immediately. She amazed even Inuyasha, she had the appetite that could master even the hungriest beast. She shoveled down her food like she had never eaten in her entire life. Everyone had their chopsticks to their lips, their mouths hung open along with wide eyes, staring at her in disbelief. Shippo and Inuyasha both dropped their chopsticks while watching her eat. There was no way she could eat that much, unless she had a bottomless pit for a stomach. Sango gulped, and continued to stare, Miroku couldn't stop blinking, Kaede was just a bit weirded out, and Shippo and Kirara were thinking, 'What in the hell...?' While Tantan didn't seem at all phased by this. I mean, Inuyasha knew she had a huge appetite, but he guessed that since she had been ignoring him for months prior to being under a spell for 50 years, really made her hungry... Or something like that.

The inu hanyou was trying to say something, but he couldn't find his voice. They all were utterly stunned by the kitsune girls display of manners. She kept asking for more helpings. Kaede, with a spaced out look, refilled her bowl and returned it to the girl. Still staring at the girl, everyone starting eating their fill, which wasn't much. Somehow, seeing her chowing down made them less hungry. They weren't really disgusted by it, just really, surprised. Sango was the first to finish with her meal, followed by Shippo, Miroku, Kirara, Kagome, Tantan, Kaede then Inuyasha. After about 12 servings, Sealii was finally full.

"Wow KaedeBaabaaSan! That was delicious!" She said, stretching.

Inuyasha stared at her, "U-uh are you finished?"

"Yeah why?" She stopped in midstretch and looked at him.

"Kami, watching you eat made me full." He said, the blue lines appearing near his temple, holding his stomach like he'd be sick.

"Eh?" Totally confused.

"Yes, um SealiiChan, you did eat.. Quite a lot... And uh, it was really weird. How come you were so hungry?" Sango asked, in broken sentences.

"Dunno, maybe the spell fed off my energy along with the forests' or something. Dunno though." She said, giving them all smiles.

"Um ok." The gumi replied at the same time.

"Eheh, sumimasen (sorry) , I didn't mean to creep you out." She stammered.

"It's ok, I'm used to seeing Inuyasha eat like that. I just didn't think you'd have a stomach like him." Sango and Kaede stated with a smile.

The sea foam eyed girl blinked a few times, then fell over laughing, "Hahaha! I know! He has a bottomless stomach!"

"Ok, ok we get it!" Yelled Inuyasha, who was sulking.

"Really Inuyasha, who cares? Everyone knows you're not really a dog." Sealii laughed.

"He's not?!" Everyone asked in unison.

"Yeah, he's a pig!" She fell over laughing, and the others joined in her laughter.

"I'm am not a pig!" He bellowed, getting in her face with huge glaring eyes.

"Calm down piggy." She giggled.

"I'm not a pig!" He yelled again.

"Are too."

"Are not."

"Too."

"Not!"

"Too!"

"NOT!"

"TOO!"

"Ok if we're done fighting, let's just keep it Inuyasha is a dog with a pigs stomach." Kagome interrupted, trying to quell the fight.

"Hahaha, that's good too." Laughed the girl.

"Feh, whatever, I ain't no pig." He grumbled.

"Of course you are no pig Lord Inuyasha. Miss Kagome merely said you had the stomach of one." Tantan laughed.

"Shut up Tan." Again he grumbled.

"I do not have to as long as KaedeSama does not wish it." She said, sticking her tongue out at him.

"Kaede help me out here!" Inuyasha whined.

"Tantan can do as she wishes." Kaede said, inwardly laughing.

"And you're supposed to be on my side." He grumbled.

"I am?" She questioned.

"Yeah!" He yelled.

"No, I can be on your side. But you're being mean to Tantan so I'm on her side." Sealii also stuck her tongue out at Inuyasha.

"Whatever. I'm going for a walk." He stated, getting to his feet and walking out the door.

"Eh? Did I miss something here?" Asked Kagome, completely confused.

"No ones on his side, so he left." Answered Sealii, standing up and following Inuyasha out of the hut.

Inuyasha sighed, he hated it when everyone was against him. But that wasn't the true thing that was bothering him. What was truly bothering him, was the fact that Naraku had so easily deceived his mate. His little trick was really good, but someone like Sealii would have to have seen through his disguise. There was no doubt, that Naraku has indeed gotten stronger, there is no denying that, but for him to have deceived Sealii.... There must have been some other type of spell put on her.

Silently she sat down next to him, she knew what he was thinking, and to be quite frank, she was just as confused. But at the moment that didn't matter to her, she finally had her to chance to be with her mate again, and she was going to take the chances, and savor them forever. Her head facing the river in front of them, looking at him through the corner of her eye, her heart pleaded him to stop thinking and to look at her. Now was not the time to think, but to heal wounds that feel so deep and burn so badly.

Out of nowhere Inuyasha's arms wrapped around Sealii's waist, and pulled her close to him. Smiling, she laid her head on his shoulder. “I've missed you Sealii, you know that right?”

A warm smile played upon Sealii's lips, “yeah, I know. I'm just sorry that I didn't realize that wasn't you.” a frown replaced her smile.

Placing a hand under her chin to bring her eyes up to meet his he stated, “Don't worry about that, ok? We'll get to solving that when it comes time to do so.”

Having said this, another smile replaced the frown on Sealii's face, “hai, I'll try not to worry about it Inuyasha.”

“Good, I don't need you worrying about it, you'll make yourself sick.” huffing at this, Inuyasha chuckled and kissed her lips tenderly.

This had been the first time in forever that Sealii had felt Inuyasha's lips upon hers. Not to mention that the simple touch excited her body, waking it up to sensations she thought she'd never feel. Needless to say, Inuyasha could feel these emotions coursing through his mates veins, and wished to do something to help her, to relieve her bodies craving for his touch. She wanted more of him, no not just more, she wanted all of him, but they'd need to find time alone. Sensing this, Inuyasha broke away from her grasp, and when he heard his mate whimper, whispered in her ear that he was just going to tell everyone that they were going on a `walk'.

Shuddering a little, she nodded that she understood, and waited for her mate to reappear from the hut. From where she sat, she could hear everyone inside saying ok, and it'll be good for you. Inuyasha came out, waving back at their friends. Smiling, he took Sealii's hand and began leading her down a path. Once they were out of range of the hut, Inuyasha put Sealii on his back and began on a search.

“What are you looking for Inu?” She questioned at one point.

“You'll see once we get there.” He answered the curious kitsune girl.

Nodding once, he began again on his silent search. However, it didn't take long to find what he was looking for. It was a clearing deep in the forest, yet the trees spread enough to give them the benefit of the moonlight. The place took Sealii's breath away, she couldn't believe how beautiful a simple clearing could be. She turned around to look at Inuyasha, only to find him staring at her, with lust filled eyes. Sealii blushed at his gaze, it was so tentative on her. Slowly the inu hanyou advanced towards the excited kitsune.

Oh how her scent was enticing, he could smell that she was just dripping with want. Wrapping his arms around her waist, he slowly backed her onto the ground, placing his knee a centimeter from her pussy. Again he inhaled her scent, it just became a little more excited. How she would lo-o-o-o-ove what he was going to do to her. Her trembling hands fumbled with his haori, while grinning, he easily stripped her slowly of her clothes, then stripped himself of his own. Blushing, she began to cover her chest, but Inuyasha wouldn't allow this, he grabbed her arms from her chest and kissed her deeply, exciting her body even more. Just the slightest touch of his hands excited her body, one second of connection between their skin and she wanted more. Nama nodded in agreement, this must go deeper than anyone originally thought. Sighing, she looked around at the young faces in the room, “so tell me, what are the reasons for persons as young as yourselves for going after Naraku.”
