Kagome opened her eyes slowly; the first thing she noticed was that her vision was blurry. She blinked a few times till her sight became clear again and finally she noticed she was somewhere unknown, she got up and realized she was on the floor. She cleaned her uniform a little and saw a girl standing in the door, she was painting her nails and Kagome gulped. The girl stopped painting her nails and turned her gaze over to Kagome; she smiled lightly and placed away her nail polish.

 

“It was about time…” she said as she walked near to Kagome, she moved away a little and the girl laughed. “I'm not going to hurt you…”

 

“Where am I?” Kagome asked without hesitating, the girl went back to her previous spot and kept on painting her nails.

 

“At a basement”

 

“Why am I here?” the girl shrugged her shoulders as she blew her nails to help them dry faster.

 

“Because Hakudoshi and I brought you here… why else would you be here?” she asked annoyed and Kagome stood up, she felt a little dizzy and grabbed her head till her lightheadedness went away.

 

“I see I'm not getting anywhere with simple questions…” she mumbled. “Why was I brought to this place?”

 

“I don't know… I just follow Naraku's orders” she said and soon the door opened, Kagome saw a man with dark lightly curly hair. He smiled when he saw her and she looked at him a little afraid, he threw her a bag and she looked at it confused.

 

“What's this?” she asked and he looked at her.

 

“It's your clothes for tonight” he was leaving when he heard her voice.

 

“Why would I want to change my clothes? Where are you taking me this time and why did you kidnap me?” he looked at her over his shoulder.

 

“People will be thrilled to know you are a high school girl and to go over to a party in that uniform will be like going with a sign that says `Screw me' as for why I brought you here… you will find out on the right time” he closed the door and Kagome sighed, she looked at the girl.

 

“Can I have some privacy?” Kagome asked timidly and the girl nodded.

 

“Sure, I'll be out smoking for a few minutes” she nodded and went out.

 

Kagome sighed relieved and looked over at the place, she touched the walls trying to find a wind tunnel to get out or a small hidden door. She looked at the ceiling and found the one she was looking for; she knew that she was in a building since houses didn't have that kind of stuff. She grabbed a chair and tried to get up there but it was too high for her reach, she stood on the chair's back and she managed to open it. Kagome smiled pleased and when she was about to climb in there and get out of that place, the door opened and the girl went back in, she laughed.

 

“You really thought you were getting out of here?” she asked and laughed again, Kagome got off the chair and sighed. “Listen kid, you better do what Naraku asks you to or you'll regret it…”

 

“Naraku?” she asked, that name sounded awfully familiar to her.

 

“Yeah, now get changed because we are leaving in 5” Kagome looked at the bag again and pulled out her `outfit'. “What? Don't you like it? I picked it myself”

 

“It's a little too…” she looked at the clothes again, it was a very short mini black skirt and a strapless green shirt along with high green heels. “Revealing…”

 

“Alright, you can choose between my outfit and your school uniform… and with what Naraku said I would be scared to use the school uniform” the girl smirked as Kagome sighed defeated.

 

“I'll be ready in a minute…” the girl threw her cigarette and stepped on it before letting Kagome have her minute.

As Kagome tired to pull down her skirt, a car transported them to somewhere still unknown for her. She looked at the hour and saw that it was 22:30, she sighed heavily thinking what her mother would say when she went back home that late. The girl, whose name was still unknown for her was sitting next to her, she was looking through the window as she smoked another cigarette. `Don't they know that those things can kill them? I told the same thing to Inuyasha and… wait, Naraku… that's the man we visited that day his ex showed up… so if Naraku is taking me to this place, will Inuyasha be there too?' she asked herself and felt somehow relieved, if Inuyasha was there with her then she wouldn't have any troubles.

 

“Oh, there we are…” the girl said and got out of the car, Kagome didn't know what to do but decided to follow her out.

 

“Kagura, what took you so long?” A man with white hair asked as he gave her a kiss on the cheek.

 

“I had to wait till she got changed” Kagura said as she pointed at Kagome, who was still trying to make her skirt a little bit lower.

 

“Nice girl, Naraku said he wanted us to go inside immediately” she nodded and threw her cigarette.

 

“C'mon, we have to go inside” Kagura said as she moved and Kagome followed her from behind.

 

Kagome could have escaped, but she was at an unknown place and if she tried to get out of there she would be raped or stolen again. Hakudoshi was right behind her, she thought that maybe they read her thoughts and were preventing her from running away. Kagome sighed helplessly as they went inside a very loud and popular club; she had heard the senior girls and boys talking about that place. Kagome wasn't able to take a good look of the club but she noticed very bright and colorful lights illuminating the dance floor as huge number of people tried to dance in it.

 

“Move” Kagura's voice took her out of her thoughts as she saw her going upstairs. Kagome nodded and kept on following her.

 

They got to the highest place of the whole club, at that spot there was only Naraku and Inuyasha's ex. Kagura took a seat once she was inside and Kagome heard the music go lower as Hakudoshi closed the door behind him. Naraku smiled at Kagome as she swallowed hard, he pointed a seat next to him and she sat on it.

 

“Welcome to my club… it's a very fashionable place, you might have heard of it before” she nodded.

 

“Could you please tell why I was brought here?” he nodded.

 

“I wanted you to be here and what I want are orders…” she sighed heavily and heard the girl beside him laughing.

 

“He's toying with you, but yes… from what he told me there's no particular reason he wanted you here, if he wanted you here he just had to say it” Kagome looked at her, she was drinking something in a crystal wineglass.

Inuyasha was done with his late night business, he had managed to rob a girl who had more than two thousand dollars in her purse, he thought that was weird but didn't mind it. He was walking back home, during his busy week he still haven't got time to repair his own car. He sighed heavily as he remembered what he told her that afternoon.

 

“Do you think I'm pretty?”

 

“What?”

 

“I'm sorry; I don't know where that came from… I just… never mind”

 

“Why would you think that you're not pretty?”

 

“I just… started thinking about some things my friend said, I thought that maybe she was right and I decided to ask someone…”

 

“Well, to tell you the truth you're not pretty at all… you're gorgeous”

 

He wasn't lying at all when he told her that but he didn't want her to know that he thought that, he didn't want to get her in any other problems and his life was just filled with them. `She's just a high school girl… I can't keep thinking about her, I can't keep seeing her…Kagome can't get involved in this kind of stuff and I don't want to make the same mistake twice… I just hope Naraku hasn't done anything to her… like when he kidnapped Kikyo thinking she was…' his phone interrupted his thought and when he looked who was calling, he got a little nervous.

 

“Speaking of the devil…” he mumbled and picked up his phone. “Hello?”

 

“Hi Inuyasha, are you done with your stuff?” Kikyo asked and he sighed annoyed.

 

“Yeah, what do you care? Is Naraku running out of money and now you're feeling unsure about your feelings?” he heard her laugh dryly.

 

“You're being such an ass like always… but I thought you might want to know who's here, you might get a big surprise” he rolled his eyes.

 

“I don't know and I honestly don't care about that right now” he said as he pulled out a cigarette from his jacket pocket, he placed it on his mouth as he looked for his matches to light it up.

 

“What? Found a new bitch already?” he dropped the cigarette that was on his mouth when she heard her say that.

 

“What are you talking about Kikyo?”

 

“Didn't you just say you didn't care?” he heard her laugh as he became even angrier.

 

“You tell me what the fuck you're talking about right now!” he yelled furiously and her laugh dried.

 

“The bitch you brought the other day with you Naraku's office, is here at his club… I think he's about to pull her to dance” Inuyasha hung up there and ran over to the club, he was very away from there but the sooner he got there the sooner he would get to kick Naraku's ass.

She was feeling more uncomfortable than ever, Naraku had told everyone to let them alone and now she was in the same room with a gang leader. They haven't pronounced a word and that made Kagome even more uncomfortable. `Why the heck would he want to be alone with me if all he's going to do is watch me?' she asked herself as she stood up and looked through the window at the city, it was a beautiful night. Everything was clear, she felt his hands around her waist and she got scared.

 

“I won't bite you…” he said and she pulled away. “I see you don't like hugs…”

 

“I'm sorry, could you please tell me why we are here alone?” he nodded.

 

“I wanted to talk to you, I'm sure that you knew who your father was…”

 

Kagome wanted to cry but she held herself, she remembered that the last time she saw her father was when she had 5 years old and she only watched him leave the house where her mother lived. A few years after she married another man who died of cancer when Souta was born. She held her tears back and turned to look at him.

 

“I don't want you to mention my father again” she said and sat, he sat right next to her.

 

“Your father was a great man, you look just like him…” he grabbed her chin and forced her to look at him, she was a little scared and moved her head. “But of course, you resemble to your mother too”

 

“You know my mother?” she asked scared, he nodded softly.

 

“Yes, but let's talk about now… not the past, how old are you Kagome Higurashi?” she got even more scared.

 

“Who are you? Why do you know my parents and my name?” he chuckled.

 

“I won't hurt you… now, answer my question” she sighed heavily.

 

“I'm 16… I'll be 17 in a month” he grabbed her chin again.

 

“Interesting, you look like you're 20” she gave him a fake smile.

 

“Thanks, I guess…” she bit her bottom lip and saw him moving closer to her. “What… are you doing?” she asked as she gulped.

 

“I'm going to kiss you…” Kagome moved back but the chair's back stopped her, Naraku's lips where inches away when she heard the door slam open and saw Inuyasha standing there.

 

“Inuyasha!” she yelled relieved and he grabbed Naraku away from her.

 

“If you lay a finger on her… I'll kill you!” he said and threw him away from her, he grabbed her hand and she hugged him. “Let's go wench…”

 

Inuyasha pulled Kagome out of that place, she had never been happier to see him. Once they were out Kagome hugged him tightly.

 

“Thank you so much Inuyasha!” she squealed and he tried to pull her away from him.

 

“Hey! I told you to stay away from me” he said and she sighed. “What the heck were you thinking when you went to Naraku to look for me?”

 

“They got me when I was going back home, I was… very hurt…” he looked at her worried.

 

“Did they hurt you?” he asked and she shook her head. “Then what are you talking about?”

 

“I was hurt after you told me to stay away from you… I don't why, I just know that… I don't want you to push out of your life Inuyasha…” he sighed and rubbed his temples.

 

“You realize that all this just happened because of me, right?” she nodded weakly. “Then why would you want to be part of my life? You'll only get more of these problems… what if Naraku kidnaps you again?”

 

“I don't care… I know that you will be there for me…” he looked away as he blushed. “I'm also very worried for you and I want to help you get out of that gang” he laughed.

 

“You? If I couldn't do it alone, what difference would if make if you helped me?” she shrugged her shoulders.

 

“I don't know… Naraku knew my father and my mother and…” he looked at her terrified.

 

“Your father?! Kagome… what was the name of your father?” she thought about it for a moment, she wasn't sure.

 

“I don't know… he left me when I was 5 and… I haven't seen him since then” he sighed relieved, maybe it wasn't the person he was thinking about. “Inuyasha, why did he know so much about my family? He knew my name… my mother…”

 

`Maybe because you're his daughter… I can't let him get near her, I have to protect her but I can't let her know about her father either… this is going to be hard' he thought and let out a heavy sigh.

 

“I don't know wench… but alright, I'll be your friend…” she smiled and hugged him. “Now why are you hugging me?”

 

“Friends give each other hugs… now let's go, you have to take me home” he arched his brow.

 

“Why would I take you home?”

 

“Because my mother will be worried sick and because I don't know where the heck I am… and because I have school tomorrow, now let's go” he looked at her clothes.

 

“If you were going back home when they kidnap you… why are you wearing that?” she blushed a little.

 

“Because they made me change my clothes… a girl named Kagaru or Kagura was making sure I didn't escape and that man gave me this clothes, I wonder where my uniform is” she thought and he groaned.

 

“I'll give it to you… next time you're going out of school, make sure you're not alone, understood?” she nodded and smiled.

 

“Thanks a lot Inuyasha… I feel we can be great friends…” he snorted.

 

“Friends…” he mumbled as he walked her home.
