Kagome walked slowly around the library, when Inuyasha had told her to hide for a while she thought of the library. The most quiet and loneliest place in the whole city and it was all for herself. She grabbed a book, read the summary and when she decided she wasn't in the mood to read it, she put it back in the shelf and looked for another one. Kagome found herself at the darkest part of the library; shivers ran down her spine and constantly looked at the sides to make sure that no ghosts came up from there. Kagome finally found a book that seemed interesting, she read the back part and then she felt someone grabbing her by the shoulders. She screamed loudly and dropped the book, when she looked back it was one of her friends.

 

“Oh god… Bankotsu” she said relieved. “You scared me”

 

“I'm sorry about that…” he said as he bent to pick up the book. “I thought you would be happy to see me”

 

“Yes, I am… just don't do that again” she said snatching the book from his fingers. “How did you know I was here?”

 

“I didn't, I came by to pick up a book a friend asked me for… I saw you and I thought I could talk to you and surprise you” she smiled.

 

“You shouldn't have scared me though” he chuckled. “Want to have lunch with me?”

 

“Only if I can pay” she smiled and giggled.

 

“I won't fight you”

 

Bankotsu smiled and took the first book he found on his way, he went over to the rent the book and asked Kagome to do it for him. She did it gladly and then walked out of the building along with Bankotsu. She was happy to find him in the library, he was such a nice guy and she didn't want to be alone for such a long time. He got out his car keys and she noticed he had a very good car considering the job he had, Inuyasha had the same job and his car was very old and it wasn't working correctly. Kagome decided not to care anymore about such stupid things and got into his car. Half an hour later, he stopped in a very fancy restaurant. Kagome thought that maybe she could get in trouble for walking around that place; she thought that many police officers would be around there but she saw none and felt safe. Bankotsu pulled the chair for her; she blushed and looked at the menu.

 

“Have you come here before?” he nodded.

 

“I come here everyday” she looked at him suspiciously and immediately smiled.

 

“It's a nice place” he nodded again. “How's the food?”

 

“Good, I own this restaurant you know” she smiled nervously.

 

“Really? Then how come you work with Inuyasha at the mechanic?”

 

“I needed cover up, I don't want anyone to know about this… it's a secret” Kagome looked around the place once again and noticed that there was no one besides her and Bankotsu.

 

“Why…?” she swallowed hard, not trying to let him know she was nervous. “Why do you keep it as a secret?”

 

“Because bad people might come and try to destroy me or this place… I bring here close friends and I consider you one of them” Kagome ignored the last part.

 

“What kind of bad people?”

 

“People who know other of my secrets… dark secrets, secrets that could kill many, many other people… many of them isn't even involved” she stood up.

 

“Bankotsu, I'm not feeling very well so... I'm not going to eat today and I'll see you some other day… bye”

 

Kagome walked towards the door slowly, trying to make him believe that nothing was wrong and what she had told him was the truth. She looked back at Bankotsu who was still sitting in the same table, he smiled at Kagome and she nervously waved at him. She opened the door and as soon she walked out, she felt something pressing against her mouth and saw a man with six green stripes across his face, two going from his forehead to the beginning of his nose and the other four in his cheek, two in each. She soon felt weak and the last thing she remembered was the laugh of Bankotsu as he walked closer to her. He got her into his arms and carried her, Bankotsu looked back at Suikotsu.

 

“Call in the whore” he said and walked to the back part of the restaurant, a few seconds after Yura came in.

 

“You called, sweetie?” he nodded.

 

“Eliminate your boyfriend, bring me his eyeball and send the other one to Naraku… and search around to find were my brother's body is… I want a nice burial and to give him a descent place to rest in peace” she nodded.

 

“Do you want me to take care of her too?” she said pointing at Kagome, he shook his head.

 

“No, I'll do this myself… by the way, Naraku might send someone else since he's getting suspicious so kill him or her too… then you bring me his eyeball, you know what they say… eye for an eye…” she smiled and giggled. “One more thing honey, if anything happens to you… just press call me, press the green bottom and you'll be talking to me”

 

“Got it… doubt that happens though” she smiled at him before walking out the restaurant.

Inuyasha used Hakudoshi's body to protect his body from the several bullets Yura was shooting at him. Yura threw away her gun and Inuyasha threw away the corpse, a cracking sound came from him and they both saw his neck broken and another pool of blood surrounding the body once again. Yura walked towards Inuyasha, he didn't know what her next move would be but he was ready for anything. She got near and hugged him and at the same time, Inuyasha felt the most hurting pain entering his body. He pushed Yura apart and saw her with a blade laughing. Inuyasha looked down at his abdomen and saw at the right part of it a small hole in which the knife filled with his blood.

 

“You lost your touch… what happened to the kid who used to kill people with just one touch?” she asked as she cleaned her sharp weapon.

 

“I haven't touched you yet” he whispered and she gave him a wicked smile.

 

“That's the spirit!” she said as she tried to hit him again, this time he dodged her strike. “Oh, don't be scared… come here!”

 

“Sorry Yura, you're very good… in many ways, but I can't keep on going”

 

Inuyasha grabbed her arm with the blade, he threw it across the room hitting the wall and then he twisted her arm and threw her over the floor. Inuyasha saw her pull out something but it didn't matter to him anymore, he sighed and closed his eyes before stepping on her head and twisting it before it made the same cracking sound as Hakudoshi's corpse. Inuyasha touched his wound and ripped part of the hotel's bed sheet to cover it up and stop blood from coming out, luckily it wasn't as deep as it looked. He bent down with difficulty and pulled away her cell phone; he got it on his ear and heard the song of a friend of his.

 

“Troubles darling?” he heard and Inuyasha got angry.

 

“Sorry Bankotsu, she's dead so you can bring your 6 retarded men to clean up this mess” he heard him laugh.

 

“Inuyasha, you shouldn't be saying things like that… at least not now that I got the most precious thing in your life” he felt his soul hit the floor.

 

“Kagome…” he hissed in anger and he heard him laugh again.

 

“If you wish to see her, I want you to fulfill the task Yura couldn't… bring me Hakudoshi's eye ball” Inuyasha looked disgusted at the corpse.

 

“I'll give it to you tomorrow morning if you give me Kagome right now… I'm having some troubles now” he said looking down at his injury.

 

“Then you'll have to wait for tomorrow to see her… this isn't a negotiation, I want Hakudoshi's eye right now… oh, and do me another favor… the other one give it to Naraku, personally not like that coward who dared to leave it at my door” Inuyasha sighed and heard the dial tune.

 

Inuyasha looked at the place disgusted, too much blood surrounding the place and two corpses lying beneath him. He sighed and pushed away with his foot Yura's corpse and then he winced before bending to grab Hakudoshi's head. He looked at it intrigued and grabbed a spoon he had nearby, slowly he pulled the first one and placed it in his jacket's pocket and did the same with the other one. Inuyasha got up and looked up the roof to see if there was a smoke detector, there wasn't one. He stood by the door and saw a bottle of champagne in a table; he took a sip of it before pouring it everywhere in the room. Finally he went back to the door and lighted a cigarette, Inuyasha took in a few breaths of the stick of nicotine and then he threw it on the bed and it immediately got on fire. He heard people freaking out and screaming scared as he made his way out of there, right now he had more things to worry about like Kagome.

“It's nothing against you sweetie, I like you… a lot really but circumstances had interfered in our paths… again, nothing personal” Bankotsu said as he tied Kagome down a chair.

 

“Inuyasha has nothing to do with Naraku… he was even your friend, why hurt him?” he sighed.

 

“There are two things that I have learned in this business… one, you don't have friends… you have enemies or allies and two, do not trust in people” he tied her hands together.

 

“I have nothing to do with this… let me go” he shook his head and went over to a desk.

 

“I can't do that… you see, if I keep you Inuyasha will even bring me the head of the president but if I let you go… Inuyasha will avoid me and Naraku would think he has won something that hasn't happened” he walked towards her with duck tape in his hand.

 

“I have nothing to do with him either, just tell me the real reason you kidnapped me” he taped her mouth and planted a kiss over her lips.

 

“Because you are very beautiful and I wanted to be with you before he came to your rescue and before I had to do this… I gotta go; your boyfriend might be getting here soon”

 

Bankotsu entered his office and got scared once he was there, he saw a white silver haired man sitting on his chair. He got a few deep breaths and saw him face him, he stood up and half smiled.

 

“You owe me money” he said and Bankotsu clenched his fists.

 

“I was going to give it to you… I just thought you would come here to pick it up and here you are so…” Sesshomaru smiled.

 

“Don't lie; you know that doesn't suit you… I kept the police off your ass and I looked away while you traded drugs in your club now pay me” Bankotsu went over to his drawer; he looked around it and heard Sesshomaru laugh. “If you're looking for you gun I already took it so don't you even bother”

 

“Clever, here's your money” Bankotsu said as he pulled out several bills from his pocket. “By the way Sess, your brother might be here in a while… want to join him?”

 

“I would but as unbelievable as it is… I have more important things to do than to care about that idiot right now” he counted the bills as he made his way out.

 

Bankotsu sat on his chair, the last thing he ever wanted in his life was to become a drug dealer and a gangster but life took him to that situation and now that he had lots of money, any women he desired and every thing he always wished for. He saw his older brother come in and he saw Inuyasha behind him, he smiled pleased and made a sign for Renkotsu to leave, he nodded and closed the door once Inuyasha was inside. He sat and threw the eye ball on the table, Bankotsu laughed.

 

“Thanks a lot Inuyasha, I'll let go get Kagome” he stood up and Inuyasha's hand grabbed him by the T-shirt harshly pulling him closer to his face.

 

“I'll go with you” he hissed and Bankotsu noticed the stain of blood in his hand and on his T-shirt.

 

“You had troubles to get rid of Yura?” Inuyasha looked at him with anger and Bankotsu smiled. “Follow me”

 

Once he entered to the room in which Kagome was kept, he felt a huge urge of killing him. Tying her up and covering her mouth like that? Who did he think he was? `Bankotsu is going to pay for this one… and I'll be the one who will personally take care of it' he thought as he pulled out slowly the duck tape over Kagome's mouth. She smiled and he kissed her lips lightly before hugging her, he heard someone laugh.

 

“Well, isn't it sweet?” Bankotsu said and Inuyasha growled, he heard Kagome hiss his name and he sighed before untying her.

 

“Let's get out of here” he whispered and grabbed her hand as they made their way out of the place.

 

“Renkotsu!” he yelled and immediately his older brother came inside the room.

 

“Yes?” he asked and Bankotsu looked at him.

 

“Remember Miroku?” he nodded. “I've got a heart feeling that he's after what happened to Ginkotsu… find him and tell him I want to meet him, do some research about him and tell me what could be useful for us”

 

“What kind of thing would be useful?”

 

“A girlfriend… we'll play the same cards like with Inuyasha, just that the consequences will be stronger and harder”
