It had been three years since Inuyasha had lost Kagome. He didn't want to believe what happened. He thought she had just left to her time for a while. But he didn't go down the well, afraid of what he might find.

Playground school bell rings again
rain clouds come to play again
has no one told you she's not breathing?

Sometimes he could hear her in his head. He could hear her say sit. He winced every time he heard it but when the pain didn't come, he missed it. He had a slight smile on his face, but on the inside he was crying. He tried not to believe that she was gone. But he knew that someday he would have to deal with it. He thought that she was not dead because his rosary was still there. It would have fallen when she left.

But one day he woke knowing that she was truly gone. He had relived the painful experience in a dream. Her words were weak and full of sorrow. He looked to the floor seeing his rosary in pieces on the floor. Now he knew she was truly gone. He collected the pieces and kept them along with the Shikon Jewel.
