Ch1: Day Dreamer

 

A girl with fire red hair lay agaisnt the bank of a river. Her long fingers swireled around in the cool water creating ripples. Her eyes were clsoed lightly as her mind wandered. She was happy right now. She was always ahppy when she day dreamed like this. Her lips opened softly as she muttered the name “Koga”

 

And I'd give up forever to touch you

“We did have something.” She told the air around her. Her eyes remained closed so she could picture the icy eyed wolf demon more clearly. “We still do.” She said nodding lightly. “Because he's perfect.”

 

'Cause I know that you feel me somehow
You're the closest to heaven that I'll ever be

“Ayame?” asked a voice. The girls emerald eyes fluttered open as she pushed herself up on her elbows. She recognized the wolf demon as a friend of her grandfathers. “Yes?” Ayame asked kindly. “Your grandfather wishes for you to return home.” The demon explained. “Please tell my grandfather I'll be home shortly please.” Ayame said sitting up fully. In a flash the demon was gone. With a sigh Ayame layed back down.

 

And I don't want to go home right now

Ayame closed her eyes again. She could see herself younger again. Koga had just saved her. Her breath caught in her throat. This was when he promised her marrige.

And all I can taste is this moment
And all I can breathe is your life

“And to this day it's still a fairy tale.” She told herself sternly knowing that the memory would haunt her. “Fairy tales don't come true Ayame.” She reminded her self. She sighed again. She wanted to just have one night with him. Was that so awful? To want to be with the one she loved for one night. She wanted to just have this night to be with him. To not worry about anything and to just live.

'Cause sooner or later it's over
I just don't want to miss you tonight

She was about to cry but no tears came. She felt like she was out of tears. She cried them all already. Her heart weighed with sadness. She was alone. All her daydreams would remian dreams for now and forever.

And you can't fight the tears that ain't coming
Or the moment of truth in your lies

She felt like she were in an awful fairy tale with no happy ending. “Is this even living?” she asked herself. “it's a half life and theres no way to make it whole.” She said sadly realizing her truth.

When everything feels like the movies
Yeah you bleed just to know you're alive

She jumped up into a tree. No one could see her there which is exactly what she wanted. They'd try to sypathize if they knew why she was sad. But they didn't know. None of them did they just didn't get it. The only one she wanted was Koga. For him to love her. To care for her. To know she was alive.

And I don't want the world to see me
