A/N: Hey people I know I’ve updated twice in one day, but I really like this story and my head was swarming with ideas for it, and knowing me if I don’t write them, then I’ll probably forget them…that’s just me. Anyways…On with the show!!! XD

Chapter 2: Welcome To Westside

Trees were whizzing by as Kagome neared her dreaded destination.
“Were almost there miss.” The driver said.
“Thanks. And please call me Kagome. I hate all that formal mumbo jumbo.” She said while smiling at the driver.
“As you wish Kagome. And my name is Totosai for the record.” He said smiling at her through the rear view mirror.
“Noted.” She said looking back out the window only to notice a rather expensive looking and modern building coming into view.
“Were here.” Totosai said as he pulled the car up into the front of what looked like the main building.
From what Kagome could see there were 4 buildings all together.
“Now I’m also going to take you to your dorm so if you would like to follow me…” He said as he began walking towards one of the buildings to his right.
Kagome silently followed until they made it to large wooden double doors.
“Now this is the girls dorm, where you will obviously be staying, that over there is the boys dorms which you are to stay out of at all times…”
‘Damn, where’s the fun in that…’
“That there is the P.E. block where all the sports and other activities are held as well as a football, baseball, soccer, and track are all around the back. And the large building there is the actual school. Any questions?” Totosai finished.
“N-No.” Kagome stuttered.
“Good. Coma along then.” He said as he entered the large doors and headed down a hallway before walking up two flights of stairs.
“Now here is all you will need to know. You will start school tomorrow morning but not before you attend to the principals office at 7:30 sharp. Got it?” He asked while handing her a piece o paper.
“Yeah.” She said looking down at he paper.
“Good. I ill be leaving you now. Good luck.” He said as he started to head down the stairs.
“Hey wait! Where do I go from here?” She asked while turning to look at him.
“Like I said, it’s all on that piece of paper. Goodbye Kagome.” He said finally going down the stairs.
“Piece of paper my ass…now…what have we got here? 3rd floor, room C-5. Easy enough…” She mumbled to herself as she headed down the hall.
Finally making it to the door she wanted, Kagome walked straight in, finding a young girl sitting at a desk in front of a laptop.
The girl turned around looking at Kagome with questioning eyes. She had long, straight, dark brown hair put up into a high ponytail, and warm chocolate eyes, currently being covered by reading glasses.
“Can I help you?” The girl asked.
“Oh, sorry. I’m Kagome, I’m new here and according to this piece of paper were gonna be room mates.” She said walking all the way in and closing the door behind her.
“Oh cool! I was wondering when I was gonna get a new room mate. I’m Sango by the way.” She said as she took off her glasses and stuck a hand out to Kagome.
“Cool to meet ya.” Kagome said as she shook her hand.
“So…why you here?” She asked as she watched Kagome walk over to a neatly made bed and plopped her bag on the floor.
“Oh that? Got into a few bad things and was on one of my last strikes.” She said as she lied back onto the bed.
“One of your last strikes?” Sango asked as she walked over and sat on her own bed.
“Yeah…I guess you can say I aint the biggest fan of the law.” Kagome said looking up at the ceiling.
“Well you’ll fit in perfectly here then.” Sango said slightly giggling.
“So why are you here then?” Kagome asked looking over at the girl.
“Oh, well I haven’t done anything wrong my dad just wanted me to come to this school cause its one of the best in the country. And because I come from a long line of demon slayers so that’s for the whole ‘gifted’ part.” She answered plainly.
“Really? You can get in here without having something wrong with ya?” Kagome asked screwing up her face. “I thought this place was meant to be for messed up people and it’s meant to be really strict.”
“Yeah it is strict and it is for the messed up- no offence- but there are only a few of us like that.” Sango replied. “So…are you like…really bad?”
Kagome gave her a funny look. “Um, I guess you could say that. I mean if you looked at my criminal record you’d think I was some hardcore gangsta.” She finished with a cheesy gangster pose.
They both burst out into fits of laughter.
“Kagome, I think I’m gonna really like you.” Sango said through her giggles.
“Your not too bad yourself.” Kagome said with a smile.
‘Maybe this place wont be so bad after all…’

BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP CRASH!!!!
“Urgghh…” Kagome moaned as she threw the alarm clock against the wall, effectively destroying it in the process.
“Rise and shine sleepy head!” Sango cheered as she drew back the curtains.
“Why god? Why do you hate me so?” Kagome cried as she threw the cover off herself.
“Come on! First day of school for you! Don’t wanna be late do ya?” Sango asked as she began to get ready herself.
“No.” Kagome said in a babyish voice.
“Good. So what class do you have first? Maybe we can walk together.” Sango said as she slipped into a pair of light blue jeans and a baby pink t-shirt.
“Cant. Have to go to the Principals office first. What time is it?” She asked as she got out her on clothes.
“It’s 7 now, and classes start at 7:45 so we can get dressed and go to breakfast first of you want.” Sango replied.
“Great, I’m starved!” Kagome gushed as she dressed.
She was wearing ripped blue jeans, a black t-shirt with Rock! Written on it in white. On top of that she wore a simple black hoodie as well as black and white converses. She was your typical skater.
“Nice. Now lets go, I’m hungry.” Sango said as she went out the door, Kagome hot on her heels.

The two girls sat in the pretty empty cafeteria, happily munching away at their breakfast.
“Sango!” An unfamiliar voice called.
Sango groaned as Kagome looked up to see two boys headed towards them.
One boy had short, black hair pulled back into a ponytail and vibrant violet eyes. The boy following him quickly caught Kagome eyes.
‘Wow…’ she thought dreamily as she watched the boy head over to them.
He had long silver hair, and beautiful golden eyes, with the cutest doggie ears on the top of his head. And to top it all off, he had a killer body.
“Sango my sweet how are you today?” The dark haired boy asked as he sat down next to the girl.
“Miroku, go away.” She stated simply as she returned to her food.
“My dear, you wound me.” He said as he turned his attention to Kagome. “And who might this lovely lady
be?”
At that moment the silver haired boy sat down next to Kagome, across from Miroku or whatever his name was.
“Guy’s meet Kagome, she’s new here.” She pointed out as Kagome said a quick hi the two boys. “Kagome, that’s Inuyasha next to you, and dumbass over here is Miroku.
“My dear beautiful Kagome, would you consider bearing my child?” Miroku asked holding Kagome’s hand from across the table.
Kagome simply raised an eyebrow at his forwardness before he went crashing to the ground.
“YOU PERVERT!” Sango screamed at him.
“Miroku, can you stop being a lech for two minutes and quit hitting on every poor girl you meet!” Inuyasha
said as he dragged Miroku back into to his seat. “Excuse him.” He said as he turned to Kagome.
“It’s cool.” She replied. ‘Jeez he has a sexy voice too…’
Then realization struck her. “Wait, Miroku do you know a couple of guys named Jake and Zach, that live over in the East district?”
“Uh…yeah! I think I know who your talkin about. You know ‘em too?” He asked.
“Well obviously she does or she wouldn’t have asked you idiot.” Inuyasha said giving him the dumbest look ever.
“Shut up.” Miroku said giving him a glare.
“Yeah there my best friends, practically brothers, Zach mentioned you were here when I told him I was comin here.”
“Cool…wait…Kagome? Kagome Higurashi?” He asked with a slight smirk.
“Yeah.” She said looking up at him.
“Damn girl! Why didn’t you tell me earlier! You are like a freakin legend!” Miroku said grinning like an idiot.
“Really?” Both Inuyasha and Sango questioned as they looked at the girl at the table.
“Oh, you look at the time!” She said looking at her watch. “Gotta go people, later.” She called as she exited the cafeteria.
“So what do you mean by legend.?” Sango asked instantly intrigued.
“She’s a real bad ass that one. One of the most notorious trouble makers in the district. She’ll do anything no matter what the consequences, a real spit fire. She’s hot too.” Miroku said digging into his breakfast.
“Damn, she didn’t tell me she was like that!” Sango said.
“Whatever.” Inuyasha mumbled under his breath as her watched said girl walk out of the room, taking this precious time to look at her ass along the way. ‘Nice…’

“Um…excuse me…I was told to come here…” Kagome said as she wearily walked into a lavish office.
The chair began to turn to reveal Totosai sitting comfortably with smile on his face.
“Totosai!? You’re the principal?!” Kagome said, shock written all over her face.
“Oh yes, didn’t I mention it?” He said as he started to shuffle through some papers on his desk.
“Must’ve slipped your mind…” Kagome mumbled hotly.
“I heard that…now! Here’s you schedule and a map of the school. And here’s a note since classes have already started and because from what I remember from your schedule your first teacher is a bit…strict…oh and do give her this as well…” He said handing her a bunch of papers.
Kagome quickly scanned her time table, briefly remembering what classes she had and started toward the door mumbling a quick thanks.
“Oh and Kagome…” She turned to look at him, “No getting into trouble on your first day!”
“Uh…sure…” She said as she walked out the door and headed to her first class with the note in her hoodie pocket.
‘First period, History, Room 14, Ms.Onigumo…got it!’ she thought as she neared said room.
Opening the door she walked in casually and instantly recognised Sango, Miroku and Inuyasha among all the faces.
She currently had her hood up over her head and her ipod plugged in. She didn’t notice until she saw the teachers lips move with no sound coming out.
“Oh! Sorry.” She said as she put away the headphones and took her hood down.
“Young lady, you are really trying my patience…what’s your name?” She said as she eyed the girl a bit too obviously.
Getting angry at the woman staring her down she answered “Kagome.” hotly.
This teacher looked fairly young, bright ruby eyes and shortish black hair pulled back into a bun.
“Ah, yes Kagome! I was wondering when you were going to show, you’ve been the talk of the staff room.” She said still glaring at the girl.
“Should I be flattered?” She questioned with a smirk.
“Depends on what you call flattery…besides that why are you late to my class?” She questioned accusingly.
“I was with the principal…I have a note.” She said as she pulled the small purple piece of paper out of her pocket. “Oh! And he asked me to give you this…” She said as she handed her the folder Totosai had asked to give her.
Ms.Onigumo took the note and folder wearily as if it were going to bite her, earning a mischievous smirk from Kagome. “Wait there.” She said as she began to look through the folder.
Kagome leaned back against the desk waiting for the teacher to speak.
“Ah…you have quite a criminal record don’t you?” She said with her eyes still glues to the folder.
“You could say that…” Kagome muttered.
“Is that meant to be sarcastic?!” The teacher suddenly said.
“What?” Kagome asked in complete confusion. “What’d I do?!”
“You dare back talk me!?” The teacher screamed back.
Kagome was now completely bewildered at what was going on. “Wouldn’t dream of it ma’am.” She replied angrily.
“Is that a threat?!”
This woman was incredible.
“Nope.” Kagome said, her smirk growing wider.
All the while the class was watching on.
“Miroku, this girl is so cool!” Sango said to the boy next to her.
“Tell me about it…” He said as he was in complete awe of the scene before him.
This earned a scoff from Inuyasha at the stupidity of the people he called friends.
“Right." Kagura said eyeing the girl. (A/N: Oh come on like you didn’t know it was her.)
“Wow. You really do have quite the record. 5 counts of vandalism…” She started.
“Uh, should you be reading that out loud?” Kagome said giving her a dumb look.
“I’ll do as I please. Now go sit behind Sango there. Next to Inuyasha.”
Kagome walked along the aisle and settled into the seat behind Sango.
“Hey.” Both said as they turned to look at her all starry eyed her.
“Hey.” She replied a bit confused at what the were doing.
Inuyasha began laughing at what the two were doing.
“What?” Kagome questioned looking over at the boy.
“Them. I think you have two new secret admirers.” He said as he pointed to the two in front of him.
Kagome began to laugh nervously as she watched the two grin at her like star struck teenagers.
“Kagome! Are you going to settle down or do you want me to read your record in front of the whole class?” She asked as all eyes turned on her.
“You can read it if you want…” She said as the students looked back at Kagura expectantly.
“Very well…now lets see…Ah! 5 counts of vandalism, 1 count of theft, 3 counts of loitering,7 counts of street fighting, blah blah blah…oh…Oh! I see you spent two years in the infamous Everitt Juvenile Correctional centre.” She said with an evil smirk.
Gasps were heard throughout the whole room as everyone turned to gawk at the new girl.
“And?” Kagome said glaring at the teacher.
“You know I’m growing tired of your attitude missy…”
“Missy? What the hell? Do I look like a missy?” She said as she laughed lightly.
“No. You look like some punk ass kid from the wrong side of the street.” Kagura said as she began writing something down.
“Gee thanks. Are teachers allowed to swear.” She said putting a questioning finger on her chin as the whole class began to laugh and holler.
“Quiet! Settle down!…listen here young lady, I don’t know what makes you think your so big-”
“Callin me fat?” Kagome interrupted.
Now the whole class was definitely laughing. Side splitting laughter for everyone!
“Principals office, now.” Said as she held up a small pink slip.
Kagome heaved a sighed she walked over and snatched the paper, almost at the door.
“Oh, and Kagome! I would consider coming down a peg while at this school. I’ve warned you.” Kagura said with an evil smirk.
“Is that a threat?” Kagome asked as she turned, backing out of the door and sticking her middle finger up at the woman. “Later Biatch.”
The whole class erupted in cheers as Kagome exited the room…all except one. Inuyasha obviously.

“Ah…you have quite a criminal record don’t you?” She said with her eyes still glues to the folder.
“You could say that…” Kagome muttered.
“Is that meant to be sarcastic?!” The teacher suddenly said.
“What?” Kagome asked in complete confusion. “What’d I do?!”
“You dare back talk me!?” The teacher screamed back.
Kagome was now completely bewildered at what was going on. “Wouldn’t dream of it ma’am.” She replied angrily.
“Is that a threat?!”
This woman was incredible.
“Nope.” Kagome said, her smirk growing wider.
All the while the class was watching on.
“Miroku, this girl is so cool!” Sango said to the boy next to her.
“Tell me about it…” He said as he was in complete awe of the scene before him.
This earned a scoff from Inuyasha at the stupidity of the people he called friends.
“Right." Kagura said eyeing the girl. (A/N: Oh come on like you didn’t know it was her.)
“Wow. You really do have quite the record. 5 counts of vandalism…” She started.
“Uh, should you be reading that out loud?” Kagome said giving her a dumb look.
“I’ll do as I please. Now go sit behind Sango there. Next to Inuyasha.”
Kagome walked along the aisle and settled into the seat behind Sango.
“Hey.” Both said as they turned to look at her all starry eyed her.
“Hey.” She replied a bit confused at what the were doing.
Inuyasha began laughing at what the two were doing.
“What?” Kagome questioned looking over at the boy.
“Them. I think you have two new secret admirers.” He said as he pointed to the two in front of him.
Kagome began to laugh nervously as she watched the two grin at her like star struck teenagers.
“Kagome! Are you going to settle down or do you want me to read your record in front of the whole class?” She asked as all eyes turned on her.
“You can read it if you want…” She said as the students looked back at Kagura expectantly.
“Very well…now lets see…Ah! 5 counts of vandalism, 1 count of theft, 3 counts of loitering,7 counts of street fighting, blah blah blah…oh…Oh! I see you spent two years in the infamous Everitt Juvenile Correctional centre.” She said with an evil smirk.
Gasps were heard throughout the whole room as everyone turned to gawk at the new girl.
“And?” Kagome said glaring at the teacher.
“You know I’m growing tired of your attitude missy…”
“Missy? What the hell? Do I look like a missy?” She said as she laughed lightly.
“No. You look like some punk ass kid from the wrong side of the street.” Kagura said as she began writing something down.
“Gee thanks. Are teachers allowed to swear.” She said putting a questioning finger on her chin as the whole class began to laugh and holler.
“Quiet! Settle down!…listen here young lady, I don’t know what makes you think your so big-”
“Callin me fat?” Kagome interrupted.
Now the whole class was definitely laughing. Side splitting laughter for everyone!
“Principals office, now.” Said as she held up a small pink slip.
Kagome heaved a sighed she walked over and snatched the paper, almost at the door.
“Oh, and Kagome! I would consider coming down a peg while at this school. I’ve warned you.” Kagura said with an evil smirk.
“Is that a threat?” Kagome asked as she turned, backing out of the door and sticking her middle finger up at the woman. “Later Biatch.”
The whole class erupted in cheers as Kagome exited the room…all except one. Inuyasha obviously.
