Soon it was midnight, and the party was over. As the villagers waited for Tashomaru to take them through the woods, the felines said their goodbyes tho Keya and watched Inuyaha closely before taking their true form and flying through the barrier. As Tashoamru took true form and let the humans get on his back, Keya ran to him. "Father, may Inuyasha spend the night here? He doesn;t have a home to go to, and I wouldn't want to let him leave to nothing. Please father?!" After breaking the kiss, Keya and Inuyasha had a long talk about his past. After they were done, he seemed much more happy.
Smiling with amusement, Tashoamru nodded. "Alright, I will be leaving with my brothers tonight, so you may keep Inuyasha in the guest room. Make sure to place the barrier up after I leave." Smiling, Keya nodded. "Yes father, I will." After Tashomaru took the villagers over the barrier, Keya quickly closed the barrier and ran back into the manor, where Inuyasha waited in her room.
Running to him, Keya jumped into Inuyasha's arms as he held her tightly. French kissing, Inuyasha realased her as she removed the heavy robes and placed them in her walk-in closet. She wore a leather tubetop that matched her leather shorts. The swell of her breast were visable, making Inuyasha's eyes grow. "You like?" she asked, shaking her hips. Closing his eyes and trying to focus on her mouth and not her ass swinging around, he nodded. "Yeah, you look...nice." I WANT YOU BAD! As she went to her futon, Inuyasha climbed in next to her, inhaling her sweet, natrual scent. As he laid on his side, Keya turned to face him, moving her arm around his back and pulling him close. Faces only inches apart, Keya whispered, "You will always be my friend, right?" Inuyaha responded with a soft caress of her thigh. "Of course, I'll never leave you." Excepting that, Keya fell asleep and Inuyasha soon followed.
For the next weeks, Inuyasha spent time with Keya and her father, who always seemed to keep a smile. The two could often be seen wondering the village together, hand in hand. Eventually the villagers grew to know Inuyasha, bowing to him when he passed. The village life was good and soon her was friendly with everyone there. But the outside life called to him, he missed nature at it's finest. But leaving Keya was last on his mind. Every now and then, they would leave the village so she could test her sword, but they'd always return. 'This is her life, not mine. I can't take it away from her.'
One day, as they practiced, Inuyahsa saw a large open area within forest, the trees concealing it. Inuyasha sould see a large home used to be there as well as crops. "Livivng out here wouldn't be so bad, would it?" Inuyahsa asked himself as Keya cut down trees behind him. He pictured a home, him, Keya, children, a whole little happy family. His daydreams were interupted when Keya placed her hand on his shoulder. "What's up Inu? What ya' staring at?"
"Oh, nothing. Come on, lets go back to the village."
Later that evening, as the sun set, Keya was alone in her room when her father came in. "Keya, may I speak to you?" Placing down her scrolls, Keya replied, "of course father. What is it?" Clearing his throat, Tashomaru placed a hand on Keya's shoulder. "Keya dear, you're sixteen now. If human, you'd have a whole family by now. Soon you'll be eighteen, and you shall be the lady of the Ebony Felines, who are all of our family. As for me, I shall retire and go live with my brothers in the Gold Caverns east of these lands. Since I was the elder brother, I led the Felines, but you are my child, there for, the lady. Once you are eighteen, I shall leave you the manor and you may do as you please."
Keya's green eyes turned black as tear after tear went down her cheeks. "Father no! You can't leave me like that! Please, please don't leave me alone. You...you can't!!!" The tears kept coming as Tashomaru left the room. The smell of her salty tears was too much to bare. Screaming, Keya called for Inuyaha, but he was no where inside the manor. He was outside at the village entrance.
"Should I leave without tellling her? No, that would be foolish. I must tell her." Turning around to go back to the manor, Inuyasha was shocked to see Keya running into his arms, gripping his kimono tightly. "What's wrong Keya?" he asked as he ran his claws through her hair, a move that seemed to calm her down. Tears stained his firerat fur as she struggled to get the words out. "Father...he...he's gonna...leave me...when...I turn....eighteen." Gagging on her words, Keya cried hard on his shoulders as he held her by the waist.
"Keya, I'm sorry to hear that. I was actually coming to speak with you. I um...I have to leave." Keya loosned her hold on him as she looked up at him, her entire eyes black, which was very creepy. "Y...you're leaving?! You can't do this to me! Bullshit Inuyasha!" Without another word, Keya gave him a hard fist to the cheek before running back to the village, leaving Inuyasha standing with a swollen cheek.
