"Help! A demon! screamed the elderly man who had fallen in fright of the boar demon that stood over him. "Ha, call all you want, pitiful human! I shall consume you whole befo..." The youkai's head flew off, landing on the ground next the now lifeless body. Scared, the man looked up to see a woman with a pair of enchanting green eyes and a sword. The sword was dripping blood from it's jagged teeth. wiping it of before placing it into it's sheath, the woman helped the elder up before she took to a tree top. "Wait," called the man ,"might I know the name of the one who saved me?" Turning and staring down at the human, the woman nodded. "But of course, my name is Keya, Lady of the Ebony Felines."
The past human years had been rough for Keya. Her father had left when she turned seventeen. Before he left though, he gave Keya the sword she now carried, the Ebony blade. Made from the fang of all her family members, the blade had stong demonic powers, yet she could easily control. Now she had a blade from her father and spirtual powers from her dead mother. She now watched over The Obsidian Village, which now had a new headman named Toshimo, who had an attraction to her. She really didn't care for him, but she dated him anyway, just for amusement... and because her heart still craved the annoyed looks of her silver haired dog boy.
Walking outside of the hut, Inuyahsa streched and yawned as her let the warm sunlight greet his face and hair. Ever since he left Keya, Inuyasha was learning to establish a settling ground. So far he had adapted well and built him a nice hut with three rooms; one for sleeping and lounging, one for eating and one as a bathhouse. It was well made with oak and ropes (which he had stolen from some vilages.) He even stole some seeds to plant a small little veggie garden. The trees around him had all types of fruits, so he could always choose a snack, plus there was a stream nearby, so he could always catch dinner. Smiling, Inuyahsa set off, leaving his hut and taking to the air. "I've got to go ger Keya."
Shaking her head in sorrow, Keya looked over at the young man sitting next to her. Eyes glazed and face red, Toshimo opened another bottle of sake and shared with the two priestess across from him. It was yoo early for drinknig, but those three thought otherwise. As they laughed and giggled, Keya continued to sip her green tea. 'Little puppy would never act this foolish.' Sighing, Keya got up when a hand reached around her thigh and pulled her down in his lap. The drunk headman laughed as he pulled Keya's tail. "I love my tiger, yes I do!" Keya was only a second from slapping the hell out of him when she smelled the scent of a familiar person.
"I'm sorry Lord Inuyahsa, but we cannot let you in, the headman told us not to let anyone in." the guard tried to differ Inuyahsa, but his cries fell on mute ears. "I know she's in there damnit. Look, it took me an hour to ger here, so I ain't leavin' till I get to her!" And with that statement, Inuyasha destroyed the manor's door, letting himself in. He followed Keya's scent to a large eating room where he found her sitting on top of a drunk man.
"Let go of her!" Inuyahsa growled before he tried to attack the man, who had by now dropped Keya and was swaying on his feet. The two drunk priestess backed into a corner and started screaming. Focusing her eyes on him, Keya looked at the familar liquid gold eyes of her little puppy. "Inuyahsa?!" called Keya. He voice cracked as she got up and ran to his open arms, her hands running through the silver strands she loved to play in. Inuyahsa placd his hands on her back, taking in the scent of her flowing hair.
"Who are you?" asked the drunk headman, who pulled out a cheap, little blade that probably wouldn't harm Inuyahsa. "Why are you here and what are you doing with my woman?" Both Inuyasha and Keya looked at the man across from room. "Woman? yeah right!" Inuyahsa yelled as the drunk man fell over. The guards had ran in to see the sight before Keya dismised them. "Come Inuyahsa, lets go to the manor." and in a flash, they were gone.
Leaning against her bed, Inuyasha noticed the diffrence of the manor. Many of the furnishings were diffrent and she had moved into her father's old chambers, which had a lot more room. Inuyasha watched Keya as she placed her sword sheath down before sitting next to him. "So little puppy, what brings you back?" He could feel the coldness in her voice. 'I knew she'd act that way.' Sighing, Inuysha looked over in the green eyes. "I..uh came back..for you." He saw all the anger wash from her face nd her eyes seemed to glow brightly. "So you'll stay here with me?" Inuyahsa winched. He had planned on taking her back with him.
"I was hoping you'd come back with me." there was a moment of silence before Keya spoke up. "You what?! You know I can't eave here! I have to watch over this village, this manor, this whole land! Why can't you stay here with me?" Inuyasha looked away from her. "I wanted to take you away from this place and from that drunk bastard who claimed you as his woman?" When Inuyahsa tried to draw her close, but she backed away. "I have to stay, Inuyasha. I made a promise to someone." Lifting an eyebrow, Inuyasha shook his head and laughed. "Look, I know you promised your father, but.."
"No Inuyahsa!!! Not to him to the um...to someone here! I promised..."
