THE SET-UP

"That's right Kagome, the well seems to have excepted us as your mates, so we have decided that you can't just choose Inuyasha that quickly." Sesshomaru finished coldly.

"Yeah?! And what exactly are you gonna do about it…" She stopped as the thought suddenly hit her. What if they planned on forcing her to be their mate…. What if… they raped her?! Sesshomaru and Kouga could figure out what she was thinking.

"Kagome, don't you trust me by now? I would never force myself on you!" Kouga stated, in a rather annoyed tone. Sesshomaru decided to chip in too.

"Yes, and it is against our father's traditions. He had always taught us that we should woo our potential mates, not force them." Sesshomaru said, a smile creeping onto his face. (A/N: ok ok! I know that sessy is a little ooc… but think about it. Demon mate for life, and sessy doesn't really have anyone, so he's `desperate for love' lol.) A smile? Kagome didn't take this as a good sign. These two were definitely up to something, but what?

"Kagome," Inuyasha started, "I think we should go back with them, if a fight breaks out, innocent by-standers could be hurt, or even killed. Besides, you have miko training, Keade told me to get you back to the village as soon as possible."

Kagome turned to him; he knew what was going on… why wouldn't anyone tell her? Was it that bad that they couldn't tell her? What was going on?

"Alright guys, I'm giving you all five seconds to tell me what's going on or I'll push you down the well and seal it for good!"

The three demons looked at each other wide-eyed. Kagome wouldn't really abandon her destiny just because they were keeping a secret from her… would she? Actually, if they knew Kagome… they didn't doubt it. Inuyasha turned to Kagome with a tolerant look on his face.

"Kagome, don't make me drag you through the well. I'll do it too. Now let's go." He said very calmly.

"NO! I SWEAR TO GOD IF YOU DON'T TELL ME I'LL ZAP YOU GUYS WITH MY MIKO ENERGY… AND THEN PIN YOU TO THE GOD TREE WITH MY SACRED ARROWS!" Kagome yelled. Her face was red and her eyes were tinted with anger… and worry.

`What's she worried about? She doesn't even know what's going on yet! That'll give her cause to worry. How do I tell her what's going on? How could I tell her that…'

A very bright pink light surrounding Kagome interrupted Inuyasha's thoughts.

`That's it! They wanna stare at me like im nuts? I'll show `em how nuts I really am!' Kagome thought as she focused her powers outside of her body.

"All right guys… five, four, thr" kagome was cut of by someone grabbing her waist. She twisted to see Sesshomaru with a look of pure determination on his face.

"LET GO OF ME OR I SWEAR I'LL SHOCK YOU TO DEATH!!" Kagome yelled while sending small shocks at him. Sesshomaru just smirked and sent a green gas straight at her nose.

When Kagome awoke, she was lying in Keade's hut with a weird calming feeling. She looked up to find two eyes staring at her. Inuyasha and Kouga stood above Kagome wondering when she would wake up. Once her eyes had opened, they had to hold back the urge to hug her.

"Kagome! Are you all right?! Are you injured? Hahaha, and what the hell did you do to Sesshomaru?" Inuyasha questioned with a hint of amusement in his eyes.

"Yeah, I'm alright… why? What'd I do to Sesshomaru?" she looked very confused.

"Look over there and see for yourself!" Kouga laughed and pointed over Kagome to her right. Kagome turned to her other side and saw Sesshomaru lying on his back with his eyes shut, and the occasional stream of pink lightning over his body. Kagome looked horrified.

"Is he ok? Is he even alive? How did this happen?" She asked. Inuyasha fell into another fit of "giggles" and answered,

" You giggle did it giggle after he put giggle you to sleep!" and tried to calm himself. Kagome turned to find Kouga in the same state. She knew how to stop this.

"Well, I see you two are getting along well! Good to see! So you guys are ok with me not taking a mate??" kagome said, hiding the smirk on her face. They stopped immediately and turned cold glares at her. Kagome knew that it was a really harsh thing to do… but she had to shut them up! Just then, she heard a loud groan be hind her and turned to see that Sesshomaru was staring at her.

"That hurt Kagome, how did you do that? You were unconscious!!" Sesshomaru whined. (A/N: Yup, Sesshomaru is whining! Ok…. Again… he is out of character for a reason!) Kagome stared at him wide-eyed… Sesshomaru… was whining. Kagome giggled. This giggle escalated into a laugh, which turned into a full-blown side splitting howls. The guys all looked clueless, and once kagome finally calmed down, she started to look irritated.\

"Excuse me! I still need to know what you all are keeping from me! Who brought me back here? Why do you all look so guilty?!" Kagome yelled. She stood and walked out of the hut, only to run into Keade.

"Kagome, where have ye been? I need to tell ye something. It is demon mating season and ye need to be careful." Keade said calmly.

"Yeah, I've been informed. By the by, three demons that are trying to claim me are lounging in your hut, I wouldn't go in there unless you wanna get pounded with questions about me and my powers. Good thing I could sit Inuyasha or…" she trailed off as an idea struck her. `Oh god!!! Why didn't I think of this before?! Im I friggin genius!' Kagome thought.

"Keade! I need to ask you for a favor! I need you to make two more rosaries! As fast as you can, I'll even help!" Kagome yelled excitedly. Keade caught on and nodded quickly.

Half an hour later Kagome and Keade were finished stringing the necklaces. (A/N: Ok, I really hope that this is original… I've never read anything like it soo…. Someone please tell me if it's been done before!) One was a very light blue, which was made for Kouga, and a dark red one, which was for Sesshomaru. Kagome was smiling like a madman when she re-entered the hut.

"Sesshomaru, Kouga, would you two please walk with me for a moment?" Kagome asked in the most innocent voice she could must. The two demons smiled and nodded, and Inuyasha looked very hurt. Kagome saw this and winked at him, this went unnoticed by the two exiting demons. Inuyasha wasn't sure what was going on, but he knew Kagome was up to something, that definitely didn't benefit the two unsuspecting demon. As he watched Kagome walk away, he saw her turn her head to look at him and pulled out the two rosaries. She held them behind her back and winked at him once again. `She's gonna put a subduing spell on them! Oh my God! That girl never ceases to amaze me!' Inuyasha thought and starting laughing hysterically.

"So Kagome, where exactly are we going?" Kouga asked as he looked around the forest. Kagome turned to the demons and spoke quietly, so she sounded sincere.

" Well, I just wanted to give these to you two for being so kind to me, and not killing Inuyasha in the process. I made these especially for you guys." Kagome said and handed each the correct rosary. They looked at them and put them around their necks at the same time.

"Sesshomaru," Kagome started calmly, "Down" with that he fell to the floor. Kouga looked from him to Kagome and realized what was going on. He started to run when he heard Kagome shout, "Kouga! Stay!" With that his face hit the dirt and he was shocked at how hard the spell was to get out of. Kagome was laughing and running back to the hut as fast as she could, and Kouga suddenly found the humor in the situation. He started laughing as well. Now, Kagome had control of the males in her life! In demon tradition, it should have been the other way around, but now a human female had control over three males. Sesshomaru also found the humor in it and was laughing along with Kouga. Kagome always had been an amazing woman.

A/N: Ok, I'm sorry it's short but I'm really busy. I'm sorry for not updating sooner! Oh, ok, so three plots… kinda! Hah I just can't bear to write 3 different fics! OH SHIT! I FORGOT! I DO NOT OWN INUYASHA AND CO. AND HAVN'T THROUGHOUT THIS STORY!!! Whew… that was close. Please review! Infact… I won't update until I get 1 review, just ONE! Ok…. Oh!
