Chapter 5: Lust or Love?

I groggily woke with a searing pain in my head, it felt like it was a bout to explode. "Oww." I hissed to myself as I slowly sat up not bothering to open my eyes, afraid it would make it hurt worse. As soon as I was sitting I fell right back down, the dizziness of moving made the pain ten times worse. I reluctantly opened my eyes met with a white ceiling, my eyes darting around the room. It was the room given to me by the Lord, but it was different now, brighter, calmer, warmer. I slowly started to sit up again, this time surprised I didn't fall back down, but just to be pushed back down. I gasp at the feeling of a hand lightly pushing me down on my shoulder and looked to my left to be greeted by two golden orbs, filled with warmth and happiness.

"Take it easy or you'll faint." The rhythmic voice said with happiness edged into it.

"Who are you?" I asked taking in the long electric blue hair, two purple stripes on each cheek and almost naturally the same purple lines lined her eye lids flaring out on the sides about a thumb's width. "Are you the Lady of the Western Lands?" I asked in awe of her beauty.

"I hope not, that would be a little disgusting, me to mate my brother, but it has happened with demons, but frankly the thought makes me want to vomit." She said giving a giggle and smile at the thought then her face turning to a brief appalled look, before going back to her calming smile.

"You're his sister?"

"Well, half sister, same father, but that is a long story. My name is Ky, and I was called here to take care of you. Well more like dragged here, but oh-stoic-one would never admit it if you ask him, so don't he'll just have something else stuck up that royal rump." I laughed lightly at the Lady, she sure didn't talk like one, but was still so warm, it felt like you were in you favorite blanket from when you were a child sitting by the fire with your mother hugging you. She laughed with me a minute before we calmed down. "OH and I am sorry if my brother has been... cold towards you, he's just like that, not to mention probably a little jealous."

"Jealous? Of me? Why?" I asked now really confused.

"Because of father, father loves you like his own daughter, and Souta like a son, and Dad already had two sons and a daughter, but both son now hate their father and each other, and me well he loves me, but I never really had a father growing up, I was a mistake, he cheated on Sesshomaru's mother with mine."

"Sesshomaru has a brother too? How come Inutaisha didn't say he had another sona nad daughter?"

"Well, nobody would have known about my father's cheating if I wasn't conceived through it, it was only once, and well Sesshomaru doesn't..... acknowledge he has a brother, or after his mother died, he hated his father to remate and only after a year his mother left this world, but worst of all he thought, it was to a human, and they conceived not long after Inuyasha, who was a hanyou the worst of all of it in Sesshomaru's eyes, his family was filled with dishonor and he couldn't stand it, and through that woman who he thought replaced his barely cold dead mother, the human, sparked his hatred for the race of them. He vowed to never take a mate and to never forgive his father or brother. And so far and after so many years he has kept the vow as strong and true as the day he made it seventy-nine years ago, I realize thats like a mere year or so in a demon's life, well depending on how strong they are, but it still is too long to hate and never feel anything for anyone. Thank goodness that little girl came into his life, at least he has emotions for her, I was afraid he would freeze and crack he went on not caring any longer, but the fact is he only cares for her, it's not love." She sighed and looked away, then a second later turned back and gave a bright smile. "Can't change the world I guess."

I nodded thinking over all the information she just had given me. "Then why, if he hates his brother who was born through mating, hate him, while he seems to like you and you were a love child? Would you be the greater digrace to him so he would hate you more...? Oh my godsh... I'm sorry, I shouldn't have said that, will you ever forgive me?"

"Don't worry about it child, I think about that myself, but I always thought it was because Inuyasha is a hanyou, while I am a full blooded demon, while he hates humans, he hates what he calls "halfbreeds" more." I nodded in understanding and then we both turned as we heard the large double doors open, seeing it was the Lord himself I stiffened with a slight amount of fear. "Ah, dear brother we were disgusing you." Ky said as he gallantly walked over to the side of my bed, with his hands behind my back, not even glancing at his sister, but staring straight at me. Ky stepped back letting him look me over, I watched his eyes start to stare down my relaxed form and move back up, but on the way stopped at my middle region. I looked down, just now noticing I hadno shirt on and only thin white bandages that were wrapped tightly, not leaving much to the imagination. I quickly grabbed my covers over my chest, and screamed before I thought better of it.

"HENTAI!" I then thought over what I said,but didn't regret it, I don't care if he was the great demon of the western lands that gives him no right to stare at my breasts.

"ME? Sessomaru, Lord of the Western Lands, be interested enough to stare at your pitiful human corpse?" He said glaring back at me.

"Then why were you?! Seems pretty obvious to me." I glared back, then we heard laughing coming from Ky and we both turned our glares to the giggling youkai. "I don't think it's funny." I scolded her.

"Well........ I do...." She barely got out between chuckles and my glare intensified. Sesshomaru snorted rather unlike himself and turned on his heel to leave. "I haven't seen him angry like that in a long time." She said still lightly laughing, and clutching her stomach.

"What is this from anyway I don't remember getting hurt."

"Rin said you were thrown against the wall, fighting a bear youkai."

"Oh yea..." I said remembering now.

"She also said you saved her and your little brother, an killed the bear by making rocks fly? And the nSesshomaru came and picked you up and took care of you."

"I used alchemy. I'm a miko..... WAIT HE TOOK CARE OF ME?! HOW?!"

"Well whe nI got here your wounds were already dressed and bandaged, and he was watching over you, and from what Rin said, he wouldn't let anyone else in, until I got here and he was the only one that was in here with you." She grinned as I slowly put, two and two together.

"WHAT?!!! THAT MEANS HE SAW ME NAKED?!" I screamed effectively deafening my new youkai friend and every other youkai in the ten mile radius.

~~~~Sesshomaru POV!

I angrily walked out of the girl's room. `How dare she accuse me of being a hentai, the lord of the western lands! If could have taken her body right there and she wouldn't have been able to say a word, it's not like I haven't seen a naked woman before, I have had sex after all, what would she know about hentais?!' I angrily strutted down the large hall and down a set if hidden private spirial stairs to enter my private study. `And to think I was concerned about this pathetic human girl... woman... grrr... doesn't matter!' I slumped very unlike myself into my cushioned chair behindmy neat mahogany desk, and covered my eyes with the crook of my arm. `Why am I so upset about what a worthless human thinks anyway...?' I pulled away my arm and pulled my chair up to my desk shuffling through a few documents I needed to go over for alliances. But all I could think about was that blasted girl. `How dare she talk to me like that!' But then started reading again, but forced to keep rereading things, not able to concentrate. `WHAT IS THAT GIRL DOING TO ME?! A Worthless little disgusting human girl/woman, she occupies my thoughts constantly, why won't it stop, do I like her?! NEVER! She's a human, I just lust after her, yes, it's lust. Lust that needs to be clenched. And I will, I will have this girl's body and soon so I may concentrate again, but not today, it wouldn't do me any good, if she is injured and I wouldn't be able to enjoy it fullfilly. Yes that is what I will do, and by the end of the week.' Giving a very small grin that just flashed over my face, gone as quick as it came, I finally got back to work and finally with this new discision was able to focus well that was until...

"WHAT?! THAT MEANS HE SAW ME NAKED?!" HE heard the woman recently just out of his head scream at the top of her lungs making his ears ring. `Will that blasted woman ever leave me be?!' He yelled at himself in his head.

A/N: OoOoOoOo! I hope it's getting better, oh yes and since I just love `Full Metal Alchemist' I made alchemy one of Kagome's miko powers I think alchemy is just so awesome I'd love to have it!
