Dreams Come True

Disclaimer: Umm…since the Lawyers are still out there…you know…

Author's Notes: I'm only expecting this to be 3-4 Chapters long including the Prologue right now. That may change later, though. Slight lime in this chappy, maybe some language(I write my ANs before my story so I'm not really sure). Read, enjoy, and review.

Chapter 1

<Damn,> She thought, <another dream.> "Alright, I'm up, I'm up! …Why are you staring at me?"

"Keh, I'm not staring at you, stupid wench! I'm just makin' sure you stay awake!" Inu Yasha said and turned away.

<Is he blushing?> Kagome proceeded to put water over the fire for breakfast and tea. She couldn't get the dream out of her head. But who was he? It wasn't Inu Yasha's voice…but it was so familiar…

<That dream! He had been plagued by dreams of the beautiful miko for months. The way she moved, the way she smelled…he was painfully hard just thinking about her. He knew he needed her. It was instinct calling for them to be together. He had been in love with her since the first time he saw her, long before these dreams. <That settles it. I'm going to find her!> He thought as he sniffed the air, catching that familiar, soothing smell, and took off in a whirlwind to find its source. (Guess who…)

"Let's go! Those shards aren't going to just come to us!" Inu Yasha called out, ready to go.

"Sukebe!" was soon followed by the sound of Sango's Hiraikotsu hitting a certain wayward monk's skull. <He'll never learn.> Thought the conscious members of the group. They packed up and headed out in hopes of finding the few shards that Naraku hadn't gotten yet.

"Wait a sec, you guys…I sense shards coming this way, fast."

"It's that damned Yase Ookami! I'll fix this!" Inu Yasha said, flexing his claws and getting into a fighting stance. Suddenly he found himself facedown in the dirt with a headache, again.

"Kagome," the wolf growled, pulling her into a tight embrace. As soon as he touched her she knew. <The dreams! It was Kouga-kun!> Kouga held her body close to his while he sniffed her hair, face and neck, as if searching for something. He smirked, apparently pleased with what he'd found. He was about to kiss her when his intuition told him to move.

He leapt with his woman just in time to be missed by Inu Yasha's claws.

"Put my Shard Detector down you stupid wolf. We're to busy to be bothered by you right now!"

"Inu Yasha, osuwari." And the Hanyou obediently kissed the dirt again.

"Oi, wench, what was that for?!"

"I'm NOT your property! Let's go talk, Kouga-kun."

"You can't go off with him, WE NEED TO FIND THE SHARDS!!!"

"OSUWARI!!!"
