Chapter 2: Get out now!

"Hey wake up," Inuyasha said poking Kagome slightly.

"Huh? Who are you?" Kagome asked looking into golden orbs as she opened her arms.

"Feh," Inuyasha said crossing his arms over his chest. "That's not for you to know."

"Oh," Kagome said sitting up. Inuyasha felt sorry for her. He cursed his father for being so heartless to her. Sure Inuyasha was only 8 but that didn't mean that he can't curse his stupid father can it? And he wouldn't put it past his older brother, Sesshoumaru that he would act the same way as his father.

"Come downstairs now. We're going to eat dinner," Inuyasha said.

"What if I don't want to come down?" Kagome asked. 'They can't make me do anything here.' Inuyasha looked at the girl as if she had a mental disease or something. Sesshoumaru had told him to go and wake up the girl, his other brother Miroku told him to be gentle with her. That earned him a bruise on the arm from Sesshoumaru. 'If she doesn't come down with me, Sesshoumaru's going to have a fit.'

"Well, your going to have to come down. Father's not going to like it if you don't," Inuyasha said.

"Well, your father can go shove his head up his ass for all I care about," Kagome said haughtily. Inuyasha was going to murder her! How dare she talk about his father that way? ONLY HE AND HIS BROTHERS CAN!

"How dare you talk about my father that way!" Inuyasha said glaring daggers at Kagome.

"Excuse me? How dare your father take me away from my FAMILY!" Kagome screamed. Inuyasha winced, he wasn't used to someone screaming at him like that.

"If you're not coming down, then your just going to have to deal with the consequences," said Inuyasha. He was hoping that this was going to get through her so that Sesshoumaru wouldn't have to come and get her. Kami knows what his older brother would do.

"Fine. I'd rather face the consequences," Kagome said stubbornly.

"You…you don't mean it do you?" Inuyasha asked shocked.

"Yes I mean it!" Kagome said.

"Fine!" Inuyasha said opening the door and getting out. 'How in Kami's name am I going to tell Sesshoumaru about this?' Inuyasha mentally asked himself. Rubbing his fingers over his temples. Suddenly he got an idea. 'Miroku! He can talk to Kagome! At the age of ten, he can be such a womanizer!' Inuyasha thought happily as he ran down the hall to Miroku's room.

Miroku heard someone running down the halls. He turned the corner only to have a ball of silver bump into him knocking him to the ground. Miroku groaned. 'Damn it Inuyasha!' Miroku cursed. His stupid little brother was always getting into trouble, weather it be with Sesshoumaru, or their father Naraku.

"Miroku! Miroku!" Inuyasha cried getting up off his brother.

"Inuyasha calm down. What is it?" Miroku asked getting up.

"It's the GIRL! She won't come out of her room! She said she would rather go through the consequences then go downstairs!" Inuyasha cried.

"Really? Interesting," Miroku said.

"Are you just going to stand there all day Miroku? If Sesshoumaru finds out he's going to hurt her!" Inuyasha said desperately. At Inuyasha's last comment Miroku snapped out of his trance. He was thinking about such an intriguing girl that would be. But when Inuyasha said that Sesshoumaru would hurt her, he knew that he had to do something and fast. Sure he loved his older twin brother, even though they didn't look alike, Miroku knew how his older brother thought. 'If they disobey, they should be punished.' Miroku thought. Stupid Sesshoumaru.

Miroku ran down the hall to the girl's room. He looked over his shoulder to see Inuyasha staring at him dumfounded. 'Stupid idiot.'

"Inuyasha! Hurry up! Are you going to stand there looking at me as if I'm Kami?" Miroku said. Once he reached the girl's door, he stopped panting. A few seconds later Inuyasha showed up beside him.

"Go in there and tell her she has to come out," Inuyasha said.

"Aren't you going to come in too?" Miroku asked.

"No, I'm going to stay here and keep watch for Sesshoumaru," Inuyasha said.

"Okay, sounds like a good plan," Miroku said.

Kagome heard voices coming from outside of her bedroom door, if you could call the bedroom she was in hers. She was still pretty pissed off that she was taken away from her family. She looked at her watch, 8:00 p.m.. Well, she had been here since 4? She really didn't know. She looked up at the door as it opened. There stood a good-looking boy. He had amethyst eyes, black hair, and was dressed in purple.

Interesting. Why would a boy at the age of ten, she guessed would dress in purple. Or at least have a purple shirt. 'He's strange.' Kagome thought. She felt drawn to him, just like how she felt the silver haired and golden-eyed boy. But there was something different about this boy that, she couldn't quite place it.

"Hello there," the boy said as he closed the door. Kagome looked at him. She raised an eyebrow at him as he came closer. He sat on the edge of the bed. She moved away from him immediately.

"Don't worry I won't bite," the boy said smiling. Again Kagome raised an eyebrow.

"Don't worry, I won't bite," Miroku said smiling at the girl across from him. He watched her raise an eyebrow. 'Inuyasha said she screamed at him. Now she's not talking to me.'

"What is your name?" Miroku asked. He was getting annoyed at the girl for not answering him. Kagome frowned at him.

"Who are you?" Kagome asked finally speaking up.

"Finally you talk woman! I thought I was never going to get a response from you," Miroku said throwing his hands up.

"That's what you thought. You never asked," Kagome retorted.

"Interesting," Miroku said.

"Who are you?" Kagome asked again.

"Me?" Miroku asked. Kagome nodded.

"I'm Naraku Onigumo Youkai's son, Miroku Youkai," Miroku said proudly. Though he knew he shouldn't be that proud. His father was known for various reasons. 2 reason's stood out the most. Naraku was famous for a, being a lean mean killing machine. And b, owning one of the largest companies in Japan. The Youkai Corporation.

Kagome gasped when she heard the name. His father was her father's enemy. Well in the business world that is. Aye's company was the most successful the 'Shikon Corporation', then came InuTaisho's company the 'Western Corporation, then came 'The Youkai Corporation,' the one that Naraku Onigumo Youkai owned. InuTaisho and Aye are best friends. Naraku had been InuTaisho's and Aye's enemy, ever since elementary school.

"So now that I told you who I am, tell me who you are," Miroku said. Kagome was confident on telling him who she was, now that she knew who he was.

"I'm the daughter of Aye Higurashi, Kagome Higurashi," Kagome said.

Miroku's jaw dropped in shock. Does his father know what the hell he got himself into? Miroku knew of the past between Aye Higurashi, InuTaisho Taiyoukai, and Naraku Youkai. He knew his father did everything in his power to annoy the two of them to hell. But now his father had caused an all out war between the companies.

"Well, that was quite unexpected," Miroku said finally finding his voice after the shock.

"You can say that again," Kagome said.

"Well, since you now who I am, can you please come down?" Miroku asked.

Kagome looked at him. So this was why he came in here eh? Well, she didn't feel like going down. So she was not going to. Kagome knew she was being stubborn, and that she probably was going to drive them to hell and back. 'But they deserve it.'

"No, I don't want to go down," Kagome said.

Miroku panicked. He knew that if she didn't want to go down now. She was going to have to face Sesshoumaru, and If she didn't listen to Sesshoumaru, she would have to answer to Naraku, his father. And no they couldn't have that. His father might get carried away if she doesn't listen.

"You have to," Miroku said.

"No I don't have to," Kagome said annoyed.

"Yes you do! If you don't want to face my brother then you got to," Miroku said.

"Face your brother? You mean the boy who came in here before you? That thing is about the same age as I am. What could he do to me?" Kagome asked.

"Not him. My older brother," Miroku said. "And trust me, you don't want to face him."

"And what if I do?" Kagome asked.

"Then your going to regret it,"

"Then, I'm just going to have to regret it,"

"You don't mean it do you?"

"Yes I do mean it," Kagome said. She turned around her back to him. Miroku sighed. He didn't expect it go this way. He left the room quietly.

"So?" Inuyasha asked as he saw his brother get out of the room. Miroku shook his head.

"Damn. If Sesshoumaru finds out, she's dead!" Inuyasha exclaimed.

"If I find out what Inuyasha?" Sesshoumaru asked. Inuyasha froze. He turned around to see his oldest brother. 'Kuso.' Miroku cursed mentally. 'If Sesshoumaru finds out…'

"Nothing Sesshoumaru," Miroku said. He looked nervous. Sesshoumaru raised an eyebrow at his brothers. He didn't like the way they were acting. He knew they were keeping something from him. And the best way was to find out, was from the one who would break easily. And that would be Miroku.

"Are you sure little brother?" Sesshoumaru asked.

"Yes we're sure Sesshoumaru," Inuyasha said.

"Miroku, Inuyasha, you know how I don't like it when you lie. And you know that I always know when you lie. So it's best just to tell me," Sesshoumaru said crossing his arms over his chest.

"We're not lying! Damn it Sesshoumaru! Can't you just believe us for once?" Inuyasha asked angered. Hoping his act would cover up that they really were lying.

"Miroku?" Sesshoumaru asked turning towards his other brother.

"Yes Sesshoumaru?"

"You know, I can always tear apart that poster of Brittany Spears in your bedroom," Sesshoumaru said. Miroku gulped. He knew he really would do it. But the fate of the girl in the room meant more to him then some stupid poster he could always replace. He leaned against the door and smirked.

"So?" Miroku said smirking. Sesshoumaru notice him lean against the door. That's it! Wait, didn't he tell Inuyasha to tell the girl to go downstairs?

"Inuyasha, did you tell the girl to go downstairs?" Sesshoumaru asked. Inuyasha froze. 'Oh shit.'

"Yes I did,"

"And did she go?"

"Well…erm…" Inuyasha said fumbling with his thumbs. He didn't know what to say to his brother. Sesshoumaru wasn't stupid. He knew that something wasn't right. So he assumed that the girl didn't go downstairs.

"Did she go down?" Sesshoumaru asked again.

"See, that's the thing big brother," Miroku said. Sesshoumaru's head snapped instantly towards him. Whenever Miroku called him 'big brother', he knew it was meant for him to calm down.

"Move," Sesshoumaru said to Miroku. Miroku didn't budge. Sesshoumaru shoved him aside. He opened the door and there on the bed, sitting patiently was Kagome.

"Girl, didn't my brother's tell you that you have to go downstairs?" Sesshoumaru asked.

"Yes they did,"

"And why aren't you there?"

"Because I don't want to face your idiotic father," Kagome said. She knew she crossed the line, by the look on Sesshoumaru's face.

"Girl don't you dare insult my father like that," Sesshoumaru said moving forward and grabbing her wrist pulling her towards him.

"Oh I dare," Kagome said.

"You do, do you?" Sesshoumaru asked tightening his hold on her wrist. Kagome didn't even wince.

"Yes I do dare, Youkai," Kagome said.

"Tell me, what is your name since you know mine,"

"Higurashi,"

"I see," Sesshoumaru said. Now his father was dead. Really dead and fucked.

"You need to go downstairs immediately. Dinner starts in 5 minuets, and my father will explain your absence at home," Sesshoumaru said.

"No. I will not face your father. I don't want to his fucked up face," Kagome said getting pissed off.

"Girl you've gone to far," Sesshoumaru said. He let go of her wrist with immense force. Then slapped her across the face. Tears started streaming down Kagome's face. For an instant, Sesshoumaru regretted doing that. But his father could have down worse.

"Go downstairs," Sesshoumaru said walking out of the room.

"Your doing good my sons," Naraku said watching the display on a private television in his office.

"Soon, my Kagome, soon,"
