"Hey! Kagome! Where are you going?", Souta whispered to Kagome who was tip-toeing towards the door.
"Don't worry Souta. I'm just going to go see Inuyasha at that new club."
"Oh. You mean 'Peabody's'?"
"Yep. That's the one. Now shhh! Go to sleep."
"But what a about mom?", Souta asked pointing at a heap curled up on the floor.
"She's passed out. She won't wake up till morning. Now stop worrying. You worry too much."
"You did say Inuyasha didn't you?"
"The one and only."
"Oh. Well okay then!"
Kagome then slipped outside quietly, trying hard not to wake up her mom. Once outside Kagome grabbed her old pink bike and peddled as fast as she could. She was quiet as a mouse on her way but on the inside she was having a huge debate with herself.
'I know Inuyasha doesn't want me to go down there. But I have too. I have to make sure he doesn't get hurt.'
Once she arrived Kagome chained her bike to an old wooden bench and walked inside scanning the crowd for Inuyasha.
"Ah. There he is." Kagome muttered to herself while looking at a figure clad in all black exept for his blinding white hair. He was right in front of the stage that was presenting some punk rock band.
Kagome slitherd through the crowd to Inuyasha.
"Hello there my beautiful stranger." she yelled over the band.
"Kagome!" Inuyahsa barked in surprise "What are you doing here. I told you not to come."
"Let's just say that I have selective hearing and that I chose not to hear you telling me not to come."
"Tell me the truth." He said grabbing her arm and pulling her towards a more secluded area.
"Ow!" Kagome yelped "That's my arm with all the cuts."
"That's one of the many consequences to cutting yourself." But he let go anyway.
"Now why are you really here."
"Really?"
"Really."
"Well the truth is... is that I heard this band was playing here so I decided to... oh alright." Kagome sighed while trying to look away from the glare he was sending her. "The truth is that I had to make sure you didn't get hurt."
"Well now you're going to get hurt."
"No I won't." Kagome said confidently.
"So she doesn't only have to look like her. She also has to act like her." Inuyasha grumbled.
"What was that?" Kagome asked all the sudden going stiff.
"Nothing." Inuyahsa said.
"Who is this "her" you're talking about?"
"I'm not talking about a her. Or at least not to you so stay out of it!" Inuyasha yelled.
"Like hell am I staying out of it! Now tell me."
"No time. Naraku's here."
