~~~~~ Prologue ~~~~~

It was midnight on a cool November night. It was a quiet night, which is strange in this part of Tokyo. So many buildings with thousands of people you'd think it'd be loud but tonight was pleasantly silent. The streetlights were on and advertisement lights were up and bright but no one was walking out on the sidewalks to look and see how much this soda cost or when this sale was going to happen. It wasn't a dead street though sense an occasional car or two would drive by. The apartment buildings that towered over the lit street were dark except for one glass square that was lit on the sixth floor. Inside that room was a girl asleep. She had shoulder length black hair and still had her white and green uniform on. She looked no older than fifteen but even if you couldn't see her face you could tell by her desk where she had fallen asleep. There were math books, science books, language arts books that were scattered out on her desk and on the floor next to her backpack. The book that she had chosen as her pillow had some worksheets next to it that were half finished, they looked like she was working on them before she drifted off.

"Are you sure she's the one?" said a dark figure standing on the balcony outside the window.

"Yeah, she's the one." Replied the second figure. The first then stepped up to the window into the light. He was a hanyou with long silver hair and two dog ears standing on his head. He had golden amber eyes and long sharp nails like claws. He was wearing a black T-shirt and your average blue jeans. He put one of his clawed hands to the glass. "But she's just a kid! How could that girl have so much power!"

The second stepped in to the light to stand next to the hanyou. He unlike his companion was a human. He had short black hair that was pulled back into a dragon tail. He was wearing black pants and a red T-shirt that on the front had a picture of a tomato and under it said, "You say tomato. I say fuck you." He looked like a normal guy except his eyes. He had beautiful purple eyes that you would not see on anyone else in your whole life.

"I'm positive. She has so much energy coming off her I feel like I'm getting purified already." He turned to the hanyou and smiled. Though the smile started to fade and he clenched his fists "I can't wait to finally be human again and not be this creature!" There was silence between the two before the hanyou spoke.

"How long has it been sense the priestess Kikyo cursed us to live forever as vampires?" the hanyou whispered.

"500 years, Inuyasha, it's been 500 years…"

A/N O_O that was realy short… I promise that the 1st chapter will be five times longer so don't worry. kk ^-^
