Chapter uno

Disclaimer: Has anyone actually ever said, " I own Inuyasha!" Well I have, but I probably shouldn't write it here…or say that I've said it. Ah! I don't own him.

It was a nice sunny day in the feudal era where we find our heroes lounging in a field. Inuyasha had finally given his "consent" in the matter after he'd been sat, boomeranged, and threatened with Miroku's kazaana.

Inuyasha was lying on the grass a little ways away from Sango, Miroku, and Kagome who were debating whether to help Shippo put flowers in the unsuspecting hanyo's hair, when he reared up and bonked poor Shippo on the head.

"Oi! What'd I tell you about comin' near me, runt?"

" To only do it when I'm disguised as Kagome."

That made Kagome blush and laugh when she saw Inuyasha go red in the face and start to chase the little demon. She suddenly stopped laughing at about the same time Inuyasha stood still making shippo, who'd been running in circles, run into Inuyasha.

"Kagome," he said, "does it have a shard?" "Uh-huh" she nodded "Then let's go get that bastard!" Inuyasha pulled Kagome on is back and took off to where he could smell the demon, while Miroku and Sango followed on Kirara, leaving a stunned Shippo behind. "Wait up!"

When they got to the nearby village it was obviously being destroyed by a demon, but they were shocked when Kagome pointed to a little kid.

"He's got a shard."

"Well then we'll have to get it from him!"

"Inuyasha, he's a child. You can't just…kill him"

"He obviously doesn't care who he kills! I mean, fuck, Kagome! Look at this village!"

"Inuyasha," Miroku called out "I'm with you. He's obviously a demon and we can't just let him kill more people!"

But, the weird thing was, the demon wasn't killing more people. He was just standing there. Looking at them. "He reeks of Naraku. Damn it. It's probably a trap you guys. Sango, protect Kagome. C'mon, Miroku!" So, Kagome and Sango stayed back while the hanyo and the houshi ran toward the little boy. The kid started to run straight for where Sango was guarding Kagome.

`Like I though, Naraku's trying to take the shards again'

"Hey, Bastard! We're the ones your fighting!"

Inuyasha cut the kid off about twenty feet from Kagome. He pulled out Tetsusaiga which instantly transformed. This kid didn't seem too impressed. Actually, he yawned. "Inuyasha, I'm not trying to fight you. I just thought I'd come her to finish off that youkai exterminater village."

"What?' Everyone said at the same time.

"Yeah. Seems you, Sango, managed to live even though I made your brother kill you. That's a bummer. So, you could say I'm here to get my revenge on you for not dying."

"What the Hell," Needless to say Sango was livid, "You lil' bastard I'm going to get my revenge on you!" She threw hirakotsu and he readily dogged it. "Sango-chan!" Kagome was really worried. "Stay back Kagome. You too, Inuyasha, Houshi-sama!"

They all took her advice, though, they weren't about to come near her. The way she was throwing that weapon around it was amazing that kid was still standing. He seemed just to be dodging the attacks and not making any of his own.

Sango caught her boomerang and was just about to throw it when the demon saw his chance and ran fast, faster than Inuyasha, to plant a web next to her ear.

"Huh?" All of the bystanders (mainly Kagome, Miroku and Inuyasha, since all the villagers had fled) were wondering what this kid was playing at. Then they saw the child pull on the string and Sango throw hirakotsu only to stand still and let it knock her to the ground when it came back.

"SANGO!" Miroku and Kagame rushed forward to her unconscious body, while Inuyasha ran after the retreating kid.

"Get back her and fight, pee-we!"

"Sorry, Inuyasha, I'd love to. Really, I would, but my orders were to just injure or kill that Sango gal. Sure do hope she's dead. Well, bye-bye!"

Inuyasha swore as he made his way back to the village. He saw a limp Sango being carried by Miroku and a watery eyed Kagome carrying Kirara tailing them.

"She'll live," Said Miroku, "We should just get her back to Kaede's."
