He watched her, the way she walked, the way she talked, everything about her drove him insane. Her enticing scent and enchanting persona made him crave her. What was worse, was her revealing clothing, which made her simply irresistable.

'God, why does she have to be so beautiful?' He asked himself. 'What is it about this weak wench that makes me feel this way? Damn these human emotions! Good ridens to them when I finaly because a full-fledged demon! But still. I still crave her. I still need her. I never felt this way about Kikyo. Not since........ she was alive. But this....... this is different. Kikyo wanted me to change. Kagome, she loves me for who I am. Love, yeah right, she could never love me.'

"Inu- InuYasha?"

InuYasha snapped out of his thoughts when he realized why Kagome had addressed him. He was starring directly at her and a blush crossed his cheeks as he looked away.

Normally he would have blushed harder, but now it was only him and Kagome, the others were off in search of jewel shards in another town in the opposite direction.

'This is too much.' his mind went back to work thinking away ' I can't take it anymore, I've got to know. But-but what if she doesn't feel the same way. And what about Kikyo? Kikyo, she, no, she batrayed me more than even a worthless half demon as myself deserves. What do I say? What if she rejects me? Then I would never be able to look her in the eyes again. I would be too embarrased. Damn these human emotions! Me, embarrassed, ha! That's a laugh! I just can't take it anymore! I've got to know NOW!! I've got to know if she feels the same!

"Kagome"

"Yes, InuYasha?"

"Do you......I mean.......do you.............ummm......"

"InuYasha! SPIT IT OUT!!!"

"Uhhmmm.......do you....uhm...think you could walk a little faster??? Geez, Totosai walks faster than you!"

"InuYasha!!!! SIT!"

'Gee, that was smart! ' InuYasha thought, mentally kicking himself. 'Ok, this time, I'm really going to do it.'

Pulling himself up from the ground, InuYasha ran to catch up with Kagome.

"Kagome?"

"What is it now INUYASHA??"

"Nothing...Nothing..."

'Dammmit! I can't take it any more! Why am I so fucking crazy over this damn wench?!? I know why? Because everything about her drives me crazy! Because knowing that she love me for who I am makes me happy. Happier than I ever was with Kikyo. She wanted me to change. She wanted me to be like her. She was ashamed of me. But she's not. She stayed by me. Even when I told her that I chose Kikyo and I wouldn't change my mind. And I never stop thinking about her. But Kikyo, I promised her. I can't..... break that promise. But Kagomes' scent is entriging, where Kiyos scent is cold and rotten. Kagome is alive and perky and Kikyo, she's dead and lonely and......."

"InuYasha........"
