Executive Chapter eight:

 

 

That night Sango called to check up on me. I invited her over because I needed someone to talk to. Kikyou and the others went on a three day holiday, which left me by my self. When she got there she had a bag of take out. Did I tell you she is my best friend? I then told her about Inuyasha and everything, except sleeping with him.

 

“So he said he's attracted to you and wants to take it further. But your confused because of your feelings for Kouga, is that what you're saying.” Sango asked while eating her salad.

 

“No I'm saying that I am attracted to Inuyasha and he feels the same. I don't know how to deal with it being that he is my boss and all. As for Kouga, he is clueless. I have no feelings for him. He had the nerve to say that we were seeing each other when we weren't. Then had the nerve to say that my scent is telling him that I want him.” I complained.

 

“Well Youkai such as Kouga are sensitive to scents. On Monday Ayame said that you smelled different, have you done anything different lately? Because what ever you did caused Kouga to think that you like him.” she said to me.

 

“No, I told you the only different thing I did that was different was be with Inuyasha.” I then thought about it. Could sleeping with him cause my scent to change? If so, couldn't Kouga smell Inuyasha on me?

 

“Whatever the case, so what are you going to do? If you ask me Inuyasha isn't really your boss. Miroku is. Everyone knows how good you are as a worker. Dating him or not would not reflect it. So give it some time. Don't go around announcing it. Just enjoy it. Frankly, I was getting worried that you'd turn out like a spinster.” She giggled as I threw a fry at her.

 

 

 

Normal POV-

 

In another part of town, a young man was walking in a bar to meet a colleague. As he walked in, he scanned the area looking for them. When spotted, he headed that direction.

 

“Thanks for meeting me.” Miroku said as he shook his hand and sat down and took a sip of his drink.

 

“So is this the weekly meeting place on Monday's?” Inuyasha asked as a waitress came up and asked for his order.

 

“No, asked you to meet me here in behave of someone close to me.” Miroku said his face grim.

Inuyasha quirked and eyebrow then said. “Who is this someone close to you?”

 

Just then Inuyasha receive a hard slap on the back. “Wow funny meeting you here.” Kouga said as he nodded to Miroku. Miroku sighed realizing that the conversation would have to wait.

 

“What are you doing here Mr. Wolfe?” Inuyasha calmly asked as if he were really interested.

 

“Just to give you a friendly welcome, and to tell you to back off my woman,” Kouga declared smiling.

 

“What are you talking about Kouga; Kagome is not your woman.” Miroku said getting irritated with where this new conversation is headed.

 

“I didn't see a ring on her finger Wolfe. Nor was there any claim on her what so ever.” Inuyasha said. “As for what I am doing, it's none of your concern. But I'll tell you this, if I ever hear her tell you to leave, you better do it or I'll personally escort you out.” Inuyasha then gets up and throws a twenty on the table. “I'll see you in the morning Mr. Houshi With that he left.

 

“Kouga, what is your problem?” Miroku asked the remainder person at the table.

 

“Nothing, I don't like him. I hate how he looks at Kagome, and I hate how she reacts to him. Plus it's kind of fun seeing his reaction to what I say to him.”

 

“So you think it's a game to you. Kagome is…” Miroku started

 

“….Is sleeping with him. She is not the perfect innocent as you thought. Her scent has changed, and it fluctuates when he is around. And that's why she's enticing to me. She may have slept with him, I know that she will be mine in the end.” And with that he got up and left a twenty on the table.

 

Looking at the money he shook his head. “At least I don't have to pay for my drinks.” Then got up.
