InuYasha Fan Fiction ❯ Eyes, the Window to Your Suol ❯ On the boat ( Chapter 3 )

now I want to add the damn chapter and get more reveiws. REVIEW!!!! and everything that actually hjappened to me will be put in little star instead of quote marks.

 

3) On the boat

 

It had been three days since Inu-yasha, Kagome and Kyoko had left michigan and got to the coast of California. They had a room on the same deck as before because with Japanesse monay that was all you could get. As much as Kagome tried this girl would not talk to her unless she absolutly had to. Even Inu-yasha failed on more than one occasion. Somehow though, He was intriged maybe even attracted to her mysteriousness. He followed her to the deck one day and watched her. He watched her form bend over the railing of the boat to watch the water.He noticed she looked even more depressed than before. She stood at the railing of the boat. She wondered if she would ever be able to forget this. Inu-yasha came into veiw.

 

"Whats wrong?" he asked

 

"Nothing" She said

 

"I can tell there is something."Inu-yasha said

 

"There is nothing I asure you" she said

 

"Are you sure?"

 

"Just thinking."

 

He stared into her eyes. They showed him that she wasn't really speaking the truth.

 

"What are you thinking about?"he aksed

 

"Memories best if forgotten." she answered

 

"I have alot of those. Tell me about it."

 

"I have always wanted to have a real friend. One I could trust, but when I do trust someone...It never works. They always tell me something like 'at first you seemed like a nice person. But your so boring!' or 'Your nice and all but your more of a motherly image than a friendly one' I don't know what I have done wrong..."she said.

 

It was all making sense to him now. Her distance, Her eyes, her mysteriousness. She was like him. She had been cast aside by those she thought that were her kind. She had no real place to belong. She was cast away. She learned to like it that way but she longed for someone else.

 

"....I have a few friends. Three to be exact. They are really good friends too, but I wish that all the tauntng would stop and go away...." she said

 

Inu-yasha noticed that she was crying. Silent tears but tears none the less. She continued to tell him what was on her mind.

 

*......I remember the best friend I ever had, she trusted me, I trusted her. She started to hang out with this girl who to say the least she didn't like me and she started to hate me too. I never had as great a friend and the preppy little bitch filled her head with SHIT!* she yelled banging her fist on the railing.

 

The boat took a sudden jolt sending her right over the railing. She screamed in shrill terror knowing she was going to die. If the cold water didn't kill her the propellar would. She felt something close around her wrist. She opened her eyes and Inu-yasha was holding her hand. He fell back as he got her to the deck and she fell too....on him. They stared at each other for a few seconds. Just looking into each others eyes untill they were inturpted by the scream of "THE BOAT IS SINKING!!" Kyoko looked away quikly blushing.

 

'What was I doing?' She thought 'Inu-yasha loves Kagome. And I don't love him anyways!'

 

Then they got back to the subject. The boat was sinking. It took a few moments for this to register in thier minds but when It did something big hit it. Where was Kagome? Then they heard another part of the mans conversation.

 

"We're still going forward but they say We probably won't make it to Japan before we sink." he said frantically.

 

"Do you know where Kagome is?" Inu-yasha asked with a look of urgency on his face.

 

"Last I saw her she was in the........room." Kyoko said with a sudden realization.

 

Their room was on the bottom floor! After the engine deck flooded so did thiers! If she was down there when it happened then It would mean disaster for Kagome. Kyoko and Inu-yasha raced to thier floor. There was only a small amount there by the time they got to her but they had to get Kagome. Then her familar scent filled the air.

 

"Kagome!!" Yelled Inu-yasha

 

Kagome ran into Inu-yasha's open arms. For some odd reason Kyoko felt slightly jealous. She didn't know why though. She didn't love him so why did she care?

 

"Well we've got to go!" said Kyoko

 

The water was rising to their knees. They had to get away or they would drown. They began to run up the stair case only to reach a block exit. It was a door that was desinged to keep the water thier for enough time to get everyone on the next level out of there. Enough time to drown them. Kagome paniced and Inu-yasha rammed against the door many times. Kyoko just sat and meditated. for a while she was ignored, that was until the door began to glow with a red aura that surronde her as well and the door flew off it's hinges.

 

"When did you learn to do that!?" Inu-yasha yelled over the roaring water as they ran.

 

" When I turned demon I found out I could do that!" she yelled

 

The water level was at their necks now.They had to get to the deck or they could kiss ever getting home good bye. Another jolt hit the side of the boat and Kyoko watched in fear as a huge long dent appeared on the wall. Then another jolt and water rushed in. The three were washed away with the current.The stairs were just aheead and the speed they were traveling at was tremendous!One, two three. In rapid succesion They all hit the bottom stair. Kyoko being the unlucky first person to bump into the stairs got knocked out. Now the ship hit rocks left and right. Inu-yasha put down Kagome and took Kyoko. The higher and closer to the deck they got the more holes the boat got. Inu-yasha was begining to wonder if Kyoko had anything to do with what was happening to the boat. After all nothing happened on thier way here. The boat was sinking and fast. They had gone five floors higher and the water was up to Kagomes chest. Kyoko was starting to wake up. She saw inu-yasha and wondered 'Why is he holding me?'

 

"Inu-yasha?" she said hoarsly.

 

It was a faint sould because her head still hurt badly. Her eyes suddenly widened and her face turned to an angery face that would make even Naraku run for cover.

 

"PUT ME DOWN HENTIA!!!" She screamed furiously

 

Inu-yasha had just pulled a Miroku. If Miroku was there he would have patted Inu-yasha on the back. He didn't know why he did that either. Kyoko walked forward mumbling things like "baka" "jerk" "hentia" "pervert" and other things.They got to the top deck and onto the last rescue boat and as they drifted away from the reckage listening to the screams of those who didn't get out in time Kyoko said to her self "Japan here I come.
