Kagome grimaced. They had been in this stupid closet for three hours, and she was getting tired of the sound of her own voice. Outside, she could hear Inuyasha still trying to break down the door. She heard a sigh and looked over at Sesshoumaru. He's lost. She thought. In a daydream, that is. She let out her own sigh. She had to admit, she was sort of glad that Inuyasha hadn't witnessed the little scene that had occurred a bit ago. Although she knew Inuyasha would never guess what had really happened, she couldn't help glancing at him. She could not hide the lust in that single glance. Sesshoumaru, awakened from his daydream by his baka of a brother, caught that look and motioned for her to come to him. She obliged, scooting over and resting her head on his chest. She reveled in his familiar-yet-new scent. He wrapped his arms around her, never wanting to let go.
Two sweaty bodies merely trying to merge. Sesshoumaru tried his best to keep his insane youkai side at bay, but his want for her was too great. His baka of a brother had had his chance. Now it was this Sesshoumaru's turn. At that moment, he wanted nothing more than to call her his own. He knew, however, he couldn't officially do that yet. But he could claim her in this manner, just between the two of them. Kagome sensed his demonic side attempting to break loose. She was somewhat frightened, but allowed his gentle touch to sooth her aching fears. She moaned softly. Their moment abruptly ended as Inuyasha banged on the door. “Kagome?” He yelled. “I'm in here…” She said softly, and wiggled out from under Sesshoumaru. They both dressed quickly, in case BakaYasha managed to break down the door.
The door shattered and Kagome yelped. Had she not moved, she would have gotten hit. Sesshoumaru still had to take a chunk in the arm to protect her. Inuyasha growled when he saw them `cuddling'. Sesshoumaru growled back. “Baka, you almost killed her.” Inuyasha eyes turned into flying saucers. Kagome gently disentangled herself from Sesshoumaru, to be immediately swept up and carried off by Inuyasha. Though she would never tell anyone, she wished she could have spent just one more moment in her Sesshoumaru's arms.

Sango smirked. “Come out, Houshi-sama. I know you're there.” Miroku walked out of the foliage with a smile. Sango couldn't suppress a giggle. Miroku's smile turned into a smirk. Sango grinned from ear to ear. She knew what was coming, and was more than ready. But she couldn't stop herself from yelping at the suddenness with which he swept her off of her feet and into his arms. She put her arms around his neck and allowed him to kiss her.
It was a dark, stormy night. Sango had been on a walk, unarmed, which was a terrible mistake on her part. She was attacked by demons, which fled at the approach of another. She feared she would die before she got a chance to tell Miroku that she loved him. To her surprise, Miroku's familiar form loomed over her. She gasped from the pain as he bent to check her wounds. “Can you stand?” he asked. She shook her head no. He sighed and sat next to her, turned so as to shield her from the downpour. She was startled. “H-H-Houshi-sama…..” she stammered. He looked at her. “Yes, my dear Sango?” he queried. “Why are you…protecting me like this?” She shivered and he pulled her closer. “Because I would give my life for you if I had to. I swear to you, I won't let anything happen.” Sango blushed prettily. “I...I love you, Miroku-chan…..” She said. He nodded. “I love you too, Sango-san. Now try to sleep. I'll protect you.” Sango knew she could trust his word, and was soon sound asleep.
Miroku kept kissing her. He cared deeply for her, and would never hurt her. He was glad she knew this. She returned his passionate kisses with an intensity of her own. She stifled a moan as he laid her gently on the ground, not releasing his claim on her lips. Her arms were wrapped tightly around him, as though she was trying to absorb him, trying to join with him. His tongue explored the cavern that was her mouth. She groaned and moved her body to support her weight and his. He suddenly pulled back. She frowned. “What is it?” He sighed. “Sango…I care too much for you to do this to you. I'm sorry.” Sango smiled weakly. “It's not your fault. I was enjoying it a bit too much.” Miroku chuckled. So did Sango.
A youkai watched from the shadows. It hated mortals beyond all reason. So it resolved to eradicate these two. It became a spirit and possessed Miroku.
Sango raised an eyebrow when Miroku went quiet. “Miroku-chan?” Miroku pushed her to the ground and claimed her lips. She gasped. Suddenly, she heard a voice. “Fucking lecher!” Someone smashed Miroku over the head. The demon left him and he fell unconscious on top of Sango. Inuyasha yanked him off. Kagome helped Sango up. “What happened?” she asked. “I don't know…something's wrong with Miroku-chan, though…he's not himself.” Kagome said nothing to that.
Later that night, Miroku woke up. “Sango?” He muttered. “I'm here, Miroku-chan.” She responded. “I'm sorry. Did I do anything…to hurt you?” He was terrified that he had hurt her in some way. Sango shook her head. “No, Miroku-chan. You didn't hurt me.” “Thank Kami.” He sighed in relief.

Sesshoumaru heaved a sigh. He sat in a tree, bored out of his mind. Then he heard the usual call. “LORD SESSHOUUUUMARUUUUU!!!” He glared down at the toad. Jaken could be SO IRRITATING! Rin came running behind. “Lord Sesshoumaru!” She cried happily. Sesshoumaru rolled his eyes and grinned. It was only for Rin's sake, to keep her safe that he put up with Jaken anymore. And he couldn't even do that, usually. What a useless toad. Sesshoumaru thought as he landed beside them. Rin giggled as Jaken jumped back, startled. Sesshoumaru set off. Rin ran off and came to a walk beside him. Jaken tried to catch up, but fell on his face, triggering one of Rin's giggle-fits.

The fire crackled, making Kagome start. Inuyasha freaked, thinking she'd heard him drop from the tree. Kagome settled back against the log, and Inuyasha moved forward. He plopped down beside her. “Kagome?” She looked over. “Yes?” He sighed. “Um…there's something…I want to say…to you.” He said, turning a bit red. She did also. “What is it, Inuyasha?” He was silent for a moment. “Um…I always…I always…” He was too embarrassed to say more. She encouraged him. “Keep going. What did you want to say?” Inuyasha took one of her hands. She blushed deeper. Inuyasha didn't look at her. “I…love you, Kagome.” In that moment, not only did he look at her, but he kissed her for the first time.

Shippou sighed and played with his top. He wished Kagome would come back from her era soon. He missed her, but it was obvious, even to him, that Inuyasha missed her more. “Inuyasha? Why don't you just go after Kagome already?” He asked. Inuyasha rolled his eyes. “She's been gone about five minutes. Give me a break.” But he did miss her. He sighed. “Let me know when she gets back home.” And he walked away. Shippou waited until he was gone. “OK, Kagome, you can come out.” He called. Kagome climbed out. “Nice one, Shippou.” Shippou smirked. “Thanks.” Kagome ruffled his hair. “You know, Shippou…we've traveled together for so long, you feel like a little brother to me…” Shippou looked over at her. “That's all?” He asked. Kagome giggled. “No, actually, more like…a son.”

Ayame sat in the tent where she and Kouga would share their first night of marriage. She and he both recalled the night when they first told, (well not verbally), each other how they felt about each other.
Kouga sighed. He had been thinking of nothing and no one except Ayame for he didn't even remember how long. Little did he know, Ayame had been having the same problem, only her thoughts were about him. Finally, he couldn't take it anymore. He stood up to find her, and bumped into her after about six steps. She didn't have time to say anything as he pulled her into his arms and kissed her.
