InuYasha Fan Fiction ❯ Fallen Samurai ❯ Chapter 2 ( Chapter 2 )
DISCLAIMOR: DON'T OWN ANYTHING
---------------------------------------------------------------- -
In another part of the forest, not too far from where Sango had began her hunt, was another small group. They sat around a small fire which was as cheery as the conversation.
"C'mon Kagome! Hurry it up already, I'm starving!"
"I'm going as fast as I can Inuyasha."
"Well go faster!"
"Really Inuyasha," said a young kitsune, "you should be thankful that you're getting ANY food at all!"
"Oh what would you know Shippou!" Inuyasha huffed. "A guy could starve with such a wench."
"SIT!"
"AHH!" The hanyou fell few feet into the solid earth before staggering back to the surface. "You could knock it off now, or you'll level out the whole forest!"
"Then behave yourself!" snapped the young girl before shoving a hot steaming bowl of ramen into his stomach.
Inuyasha muttered to himself while Shippou giggled as quietly as he could...even though it didn't work too well. Inuyasha started to head towards the young kit, but Kagome held up a finger, indicating the consequences if he should decide to continue to pursue his actions. Just then, another member of the group stepped forward.
"Where have you been priest?" demanded Inuyasha.
"Out for a walk, and for the last time I'M A MONK!!! IS THAT SO HARD FOR YOU TO UNDERSTAND!!!"
Inuyasha's eyes bulged out is head at the intensity of the scream into his right ear. The monk named Miroku sat beside Kagome.
"I was wondering when you'd be back," she said.
Miroku clasped her hands, "You were worried about me?"
"No," she said with a sweatdrop.
"You missed me?"
"No."
"Then what?"
"Your food was getting cold."
Miroku fell over.
"Some things will never change," said the young kit.
Inuyasha's ears suddenly perked up and he looked around nervously. He felt something was out there, but he couldn't determine where it was coming from.
"What's wrong Inuyasha?" asked Kagome.
OOC. "Did ya eva get the feelin' you wuz bein'....watched?"
"Beg pardon?"
"Pay no attention to him," said Miroku. "He's just paranoid."
"Listen priest!" snapped the hanyou. "I'm a demon remeber? I've got instincts!"
"Correction, you're half demon. Therefore your so-called 'instincts' are unreliable."
"How dare you speak that way to me!"
Sighing, Kagome carried Shippou away to another corner while Miroku and Inuyasha battled it out in a war between mortal and imortal! Priest vs. Demon!
"Monk! I'm a monk!"
Author: whatever
Sango in the meanwhile was traling behind Kirara to find her next prey. Crouching in a tree she looked down to see a small fire with four people, two of which were demons, a young girl and a priest.
"Odd hostages," she said to herself. "Are you sure he's down there Kirara?"
As if to reply Kirara's eyes glowed and Sango chuckled, scolding herself for ever doubting her only friend. The two had been through so much and now....Sango shook her head and watched on, and became cautious when the larger demon, whom the girl called Inuyasha, sensed her pressense. She then became dumbfounded when he and priest started fighting.
"How strange," she said with a sweatdrop. "We'd better observe them a bit longer before we make our move, Kirara."
