Life for me is the instance,
between death and resistance.
So far it's been a hell of a ride
I'm just waiting until this tide
Of emotions and utter devotion
To these memories go away.
It hurts me every day.
There is no escaping this pain.
It threatens to consume me.
I can not go on like this.
It's you I will always miss.
I hope you look out for me from above,
And know that you will always have my love.
I will never forget the lessons you taught me,
Or all the love and joy you brought to me.
Father I will always be the man you wanted me to be.
