InuYasha Fan Fiction ❯ Feeling Dirty ❯ Chapter 7 ( Chapter 7 )
Man, can it get more fluffier than this you will be reading below???
*****************************************************
"My cabin is getting crowded."sighed the one eyed miko and looked around at the sleeping mass of shard-hunters. Inuyasha and Sango was as far inside as you could get. The hanyou had spooned the taijya's back against his chest, holding her possessively. "They look good together."
Next to them lay Shippou and Kirara. Kaede hid a smile when she heard the two purring in their sleep. "I think they are having some nice dreams, probably about Kagome-san's chocolate things." Her eye moved further to see Kagome next. She smiled in her sleep, holding her hands tightly. "I wonder if she is dreaming about her wedding?" And then she looked at Miroku. "Poor Miroku-sama." she thought when she saw the heavy statue that Shippou had placed against the monk's right leg. Miroku would not move an inch with that heavy burden on his leg. The stoic lord had found his place next to the entrance, the young girl Rin tucked into his fluffy boa. "If anyone would have told me that the almighty Sesshoumaru-sama had a human pup I would have kicked them in the balls for lying." smiled Kaede. "And here I am, watching the same great lord, taking care of a human girl as if she was his daughter. I believe that Naraku will have some trouble of defeating this group. One on one they are weak as new born babies against his power, together they will have no trouble at all with wiping his monstrous ass from the face of the earth."
Kaede blushed when she realized she used foul mental language. "But who would know?" she settled back against the wall and closed her eye and let the sleep claim her for the night.
Sesshoumaru was the first to wake up early next morning. He gently removed the boa from his shoulder and placed it around Rin so she would not get cold. He gave the ghost of a smile as he rose to his feet and ventured out from the hut.
- Jaken! He called for his servant.
- Yes Sesshoumaru-sama? the little toad like demon with the bug eyes stepped forth, holding the two headed dragon Ah-Uhn in it's leash.
- I want you to travel back to my castle and prepare the east wing for my brother and his mate, said Sesshoumaru.
- Forgive this unworthy servant, but may I ask why? asked Jaken and fell to the ground in a humble gesture.
- Because after the battle I want my brother to be close, and I want to be there when his mate give birth to their first born pup. I will not tell this again and I do not want you to question me about why ever again.
- I will do as you have requested my lord Sesshoumaru, said Jaken.
- And when you reach the castle, send Ah-Uhn back to me, they will prove to be an asset once we start the fight against the slime ball Naraku.
- Yes my lord.
Sesshoumaru nodded and patted the two heads on the dragon. Jaken could see words forming on his master's lips but he could not hear anything. The dragon made a growl and nodded in consent to what ever Sesshoumaru had told him.
- Hurry Jaken, do not disappoint me, said Sesshoumaru.
- I will not.
Then Sesshoumaru did something very unexpected, he picked up the little demon and put him on the dragon's back. Jaken wanted to cry out, it was the first time his lord had done something nice for him. Tears could be seen in his big yellow eyes as the dragon moved to the sky with him. "Sesshoumaru-sama…." cried the toad silently.
Sesshoumaru turned around when he heard someone come out from the hut. He saw the old miko and he once again gave one of his rare smiles. He respected the old miko, that he did. He bowed his head slightly and saw her return the honour.
- Sesshoumaru-sama, may I be so bold to have a few even bolder words with you? asked Kaede.
- You may Miko-sama, said Sesshoumaru.
- Come, let us talk a walk.
The odd pair moved away from the village, towards the old well in the forest.
- Is there something special you wanted to talk about miko-sama?
- Please, call me Kaede, said the old miko.
- Kaede-sama..
- I am old, I do not fear many things in life anymore, began Kaede with a grave voice. - But I fear that my sister, Kikyo-oneesama might interfere with Inuyasha's fate. She was killed fifty two years ago by Naraku's deceit, which also caused Inuyasha to be bound to the God tree.
- Yes I know the story Kaede-sama.
- She has returned because an evil witch brought her back, although she is not alive, she is still walking among the living. And she still carries some hatred for Inuyasha, she thought it was he who deceived her even if it was not so. I want the young Inuyasha to have the possibility to know love once again, I want him to be happy and my undead sister only wants him to follow her to the gates of hell.
- Shall I intemperate this as a request to…
- Yes, I want you to… make sure that she meet her end swift and painless, said Kaede and the lord could see crystal tears in her old eye. - I know that you can do that for her. She needs to find peace, and she will not find it here among the living anymore.
- I can not promise anything, but what I can promise is that I will try, will it do? asked Sesshoumaru.
- Thank you Sesshoumaru-sama, I am glad, I will ask for no more, said Kaede and bowed.
- You are welcome Kaede-sama.
A moment of perfect understanding was exchanged as they walked back to the village.
Back at the hut Miroku had been released from his humiliating bonding. Shippou excused himself, saying that he was afraid that the monk would try to do something to Sango and/or Inuyasha during the night.
- My dear Shippou, I am a humble servant of Buddha, I would not stoop so low.
- Yes you would Miroku-sama, said Kagome with a warm smile. - But don't worry; we will make sure that you keep to that humble path you are speaking of.
- Hmpf, said Miroku but he could not help it, he responded with a smile as well.
Sango and Inuyasha woke up nose to nose and Inuyasha smiled. He moved to kiss her but before the kiss got deeper he pulled away. He could smell almost immediately that wonderful sweet scent of her arousal and he did not want to loose his head, not here inside the cabin anyway. They got up and Sango helped Kagome to prepare breakfast.
Inuyasha went outside just in time to see Kaede and Sesshoumaru coming back. He saw them talking, almost… "They look like they have known each other for ages." He thought a bit confused, but then again, his brother seemed to have a very sociable side and Kaede… well, she was a source of knowledge as well. Of course the two would be compatible. "Perhaps it is time for me to treat her with a little bit more respect, after all, I do see her as a… fuck, do I really?" He swallowed hard as the realization hit him. He saw Kaede as a grandmother, he really did.
Sesshoumaru saw the frown on his younger brother's face and he got worried. "Rin has turned me into a mushy mushroom." He thought as he looked at the dog eared hanyou.
- Otouto, what is ailing you? asked Sesshoumaru, eager to know the answer.
- I just realized something, that's all niisan.
- And what might that have been?
- I will tell you later; first of all I want a word with Kaede if she agrees to take another walk, said Inuyasha and sported two roses on his cheeks.
- Of course Inuyasha, said Kaede. - I do not move around much, so I could use the exercise.
- Niisan, tell Sango-chan that I will be gone for a few minutes.
Sesshoumaru nodded and entered the hut.
Kaede turned and began walking again. Inuyasha followed her, but she did not have to walk as far as the well this time. Inuyasha stopped once they had reached the far end of the village road.
- I have a question for you, began Inuyasha and bit his lip as he looked up the hill where the shrine was located.
- Inuyasha, we have know each other for two years now, and I would dare to say - you can ask me anything, smiled Kaede when she heard the uncertain tone in his voice.
- I do not remember my father, only my mother, and she always cries when I see her in my mind, said Inuyasha. - My brother as only recently began to act like a brother, but I…
He silenced and took a deep breathe to gather more courage.
- I want to have an older person in my life as well. Someone that I can call family even if she is not.
… Silence once again….
Kaede sensed his hesitation and she took his clawed hand into her old one and gave it a warm squeeze.
- I would be happy if I was the older person you are talking about Inuyasha, she said with a warm smile.
- Really??!! His voice deflowered all the fears he had if she had said no to his request.
- Yes Inuyasha, if you want me too, I will be happy to be her.
He wanted to say something, but he was unable, instead he moved to hug the old miko. A heart warming hug, he did not know how to tell her how much he appreciated it.
Kaede smiled and moved her arms to embrace the young man, giving all the love she had for him into that hug.
- My grandmother, he whispered with thick voice.
- My son… she said.
Kagome's voice shouting about breakfast being ready pulled them apart. Inuyasha cleared his throat and Kaede saw him use his sleeve to wipe his eyes.
- Thank you Kaede-baasan.
- You are welcome Inu-chan, she said.
They smiled towards each other but before they entered the hut he stopped her again.
- Baasan, I have another question as well…
Kaede nodded.
- If Sango gets pregnant… will you be there for us?
- Of course I will. I would love to see some puppy eared great grandchildren, said Kaede tugged at his hand again. Giving him the insurance he needed.
- Thank you…
They went smiling into the hut.
