The miko sat alone in her bedroom, awaiting her love's arrival. She thought of his long, silver hair, his stunning physique, and his deep amber eyes. They had met in a different time and, though centuries apart, they'd always stayed together. Despite constant feuds with his brother, she'd always found him to be kind and caring. A blur of silver leaping from the well outside broke into her thoughts. “He's here,” she thought, rushing to her window. Brown eyes met amber as she began to speak. “I have missed you. I almost thought you weren't coming back to me.” A tear rolled down her cheek as her love spoke. “I'm here now, Kagome. There's no need to be sad. I love you.” Kagome smiled. “I love you too, Sesshomaru.”
