The young monk watched from afar as his true love bathed beneath the falls. Her long black hair blew gently with the passing breeze. He marveled her beauty, daring to move a bit closer. He imagined her in battle, where she was at her best. How he loved to watch her graceful movements and the joy she expressed upon defeating her opponent. So gentle was she, and yet, so strong. He smiled and inched closer still. It was all he could do to keep from leaping into the water and calling out to her. Instead, he gazed onward and whispered her name to himself. “Kagome.”

 

Moonalchemist: Funny, but it should be Sango and Miroku.

Me: (throws editor into closet) Kagome will live on!
