Final Understanding

Chap 6
Your love is all I need.
A year had gone by and Inuyasha and Kagome remained lovers. Their affection only grew with the time they spent with each other, the feelings they had for each other the day they met were only distant memories that they loved to call upon in desperate situations where Miroku would start babbling on about his and Sango's sex life since Naraku's defeat.
Smiling was a new thing for Inuyasha, but the rough around the edges personality was still there, that was what Kagome loved about him. He still had the sense to make a big deal about Kagome talking to different men, calling her little conversations flirting sessions in between. Which always lead to the little lovers spat that happened at least three times a day; breakfast, lunch and supper.
Love was always in the air, and the time, from which Naraku was defeated, a proposal was made. As Kagome would recall, it was the end of the battle and the remnants of Naraku were burned and tossed into the wind, so that they were never to be used against anyone.
Kagome stood on top of a grassy hill, smiling as she always did in the presence of her lover. She turned her eyes to the tall man next to her, his silver hair flying in the wind and the tips of sun rays caressed his face and eyes, illuminating the gold specks found in the depths of the amber pools of hot liquid. This was what she wanted, what she had always hoped for, what she needed.
Inuyasha turned his head towards her, bowing his head to give her a quick kiss on the lips. Remembering all the times he did this it always led him to never want to pull away, to drown himself in her taste. Which he was doing right now. He smirked as he felt her clutch at his haori pulling him closer as his tongue slid through her soft lips.
The sensual feelings Kagome was feeling at the moment were slowly devouring her, and as soon as she felt his hands grasp at her hips she felt a new feeling inside of her . . .
I want him.
Kagome quickly broke away her breathing coming out in short pants, her hands braced on either shoulder of the han you who was still holding onto her hips, seductively tracing his thumb over the exposed skin underneath her red shirt. He watched as she stared out at the village, her blue eyes grazing over the shrine that had been built to honour Kikyo and Kaeda. "What's wrong Kagome, did I do something wrong?" he asked, his breath hot against her ear.
She snapped her head towards him, staring into his amber eyes again. She gulped before opening her mouth to speak. "I . . . want . . ." she turne d her head away blushing fiercely . Who knew it could be this hard just to say she wanted to mate with him now.
"You want what?" Inuyasha asked, closing his hand over her small one. They fit perfectly together, but on the other hand all hands did that. He smiled at the stupid thought a nd began thinking of what Kagome wanted. He'd comply with her nee d without pulling away.
Kagome was still blushing but answered nonetheless. "I'm ready." she answered, her eyes meeting his in a fierce gaze. She was ready, but if he knew what she was ready for was beyond her, but the searing kiss he gave her was answer enough.
She moaned lightly as his tongue pushed its way through her lips, teasing her tongue as it brushed against her teeth. He just had to know with the way he was kissing her now. "Inu . . ." she cried as she felt his hand slip under her shirt and immediately go for her breasts. "Not here, you idiot." she scolded pulling away from him.
Inuyasha scowled heavily. Where than?he asked growling slightly. He closed the space between them with one searing kiss before pulling away, not letting her respond to the kiss.
Inuyasha.she whispered pressing a kiss to his neck. Home.She whispered pulling her arms around him, waiting to be carried. She smirked as he picked her up and jumped away from the hill. He really does want me that much. She thought, glancing at the trees that blurred before her eyes.

As soon as the couple stumbled into their hut, Inuyasha took to pressing Kagome to the floor, pulling her shirt over her head as she untied the sash around his waist. Than after what seemed like an eternity to the young lovers, they were finally naked and atop each other.
Kagome thrust up against his burning arousal, delighting in the groan that slipped from his lips. She smiled lightly, but soon gasped as Inuyasha took one of her nipples into his mouth; tugging at the little bead with his teeth, before licking over with his tongue to sooth the slight pain.
Everything they had ever wanted was coming true, everything they needed to live was right in front of their faces.

Miroku had been teasing and congratulating the happy couple, and had asked a couple of times if it was a boy or a girl, w hich Inuyasha just kept his mouth shut saying it was a surprise for Kagome.
On the other hand, Sango being mildly affected by the monk's behaviour smiled at Kagome and asked questions on how her first time felt. The only answer she got out of Kagome was a red face and 'awesome'.
Kagome blushed harder as she realized Inuyasha had heard her little statement. It was too bad that his ego had been given a boost. How much bigger can it get? She idly wandered as she lay back on the grass next to Sango.
Kagome laughed at Sango when she pointed out a cloud that looked like a man on top of a woman. She blushed when she said the man had dog ears on his head and long hair, of course that was when she finally saw the cloud and wandered if Inuyasha and Miroku were doing the same thing.
The day was perfect, but that was until Koga showed up.

His smells all over you!Koga snarled at Kagome, who glared daggers at him.
Kagome was about to argue when Inuyasha stepped in front of her, gesturing her to go stand by Sango and the others, which she complied to sighing.
What do you want, wimpy wolf?!Inuyasha growled at the wolf demon, who kept his cocky smile on his face.
What did you do to my woman, dog shit?!Koga growled back, taking a brave step forward.
What do you mean you're woman?!Inuyasha snapped, slashing at Koga cheek, leaving a large gash at the side.
Koga lunged at him, but before he could land a punch on him Kagome stepped forward making Koga avert his punch to the ground.
Get lost Koga!Kagome yelled at him, pushing him back. I'm Inuyasha's woman, and I'm having his . . .she stopped as Inuyasha turned her around and got down on one knee. Inu . . .
Inuyasha cut her off with his question. Kagome, here in front of you're friends and wimpy wolf.Inuyasha smirked. I have a question to ask you, and so people will know, I'll ask you in front of witnesses.He inhaled and exhaled. So my question is: will you marry me?
Tears twinkled in Kagome's eyes as she stared at the man she knew she loved, and knew he loved her back. Than without words she said yes as she pressed her lips to his, throwing her hands around his torso.
The many women around them smiled, and few cried, Sango being one of them. The day that started perfect ended perfect . . .
