Chapter 1; The Start of Fate
Kagome and Inuyasha ran through the woods, dodging tree after tree. Inuyasha chased Narakus scent. He was close. Too close for comfort.
Kagome stopped dead as she entered the clearing. Standing in the center, her bow at the ready, was a brown eyed, short haird, girl. Tears stained her dirty face, and her words peirced through the silent area.
"Where the hell am I! Shiomotsai!!!! Shiomotsai!!! This sure as hell doesnt look like Tokyo!" The girl cried.
Kagome squeeled and ran towards the girl, "Are you looking for Tokyo? As in Tokyo with cars, and buildings and cell phones?"
The girl looked Kagome up in down, "Yea... Who are you?"
Kagome smile grew, "Im Kagome Higurashi! And this is Inuyasha."
The girls gaze flew to his ears, "You have my... i mean ears... Your a demon!" Her bow aimed at Inuyasha.
"We arent here to hurt you... Please put the bow down... Whats your name?" Kagome asked.
Reluctantly she dropped the bow, "Im Brittany... And Im hoplessly lost." With that said, she collapsed onto the ground at Inuayshas feet.
"Poor thing! She must be so afraid! I wonder who Shiomotsai is... Hmmm... Inuyasha do you mind?" Kagome guestured to the unconsious girl.
Inuyasha bent foward picking Brittany up. "I think shes a miko. And I think... Well do you think she could be from the future?" Inuyasha asked.
Kagome nodded, "Possibly... I guess we'll find out soon huh?"
