If anyone of you readers has a sugeestion for the name of Rin's black kitten please tell me, remember it is a boy...No the kitten will have nothing to do with Kirara....and yes i love tormenting dogs with cats....my own dog, he's pit bull and boxer mix is afraid of my cat. stupid dog....the kitten is just another character i shall use to my advantage...it really hates dogs...hehe

Chapter Twenty-one:
InuYasha swung his sword through yet another endless wave of tigers when he heard Kagome’s chilling call. Sango and Miroku had followed a wave of tigers into the forest killing any that they could reach.
“Sesshomaru! It was a distraction to lead us away from Kagome and Rin!” InuYasha yelled at his half brother.
“I know it was as soon as she called for help.” Sesshomaru said in his calm voice. “It seems like somebody is already going to help her though.”
“What!” InuYasha yelled as he cut down yet another wave of tiger Yokai.
“Mizu. Do you not remember the fact I did not call her?” Sesshomaru said as he used his poison whip to tear apart a tiger.
“Wait these cats, they die to easily.” a small voice said from InuYasha’s shoulder.
“Why aren’t you hiding?” InuYasha asked Myoga. InuYasha ducked a tiger as it jumped over him. He thrust his sword up, neatly slicing the sot underbelly of the white and red striped tiger.
“Lord InuYasha I am ashamed that you think of me so. The tigers somebody must be using a double spell. Look around for any tiger that is not attacking and attack it.” the flea said as he hopped off InuYasha’s shoulder.
Looking around InuYasha spotted a white hired man with vivid blue stripes hiding behind a tree, his hands where weaving and his eyes closed. “Gotcha.” InuYasha growled as he charged the tiger. The white tiger jumped back as he felt the sword pierce his stomach.
“I am sorry Master Taiga I have failed you.” the tiger collapsed on the blade and with a snarl he yanked the blade out and stormed back to where his brother was looking at the 20 or so tigers that looked around wildly.
“Let’s kill them.” Sesshomaru said as he charged the tigers with his sword. InuYasha nodded.
“Die!” InuYasha shouted as he attacked the remaining demons.
“Let us go and rescue your mate.” Sesshomaru said as he calmly wiped his blade on one of the tiger’s ripped clothing. InuYasha didn’t care as long as he rescued his mate. ‘Mine.’ his demon side growled. As he neared the area where he left Kagome InuYasha smelt Kagome’s blood. InuYasha howled as hid demon side took over. Not caring that Sesshomaru was telling him to stop InuYasha charged into the camp full demon. ‘Mate is hurt must find mate.’ InuYasha growled as he searched out his mate. Seeing the wounded tiger demon cornering Kagome InuYasha dropped his sword and ran at it. Snarling the cat used his claws to strike at the furious hanyou turned demon but missed. InuYasha sunk his lengthened claws into the cat and ripped his apart limb by limb. Panting he turned his red eyes towards his sobbing mate. Pulling her into his lap InuYasha jumped into a tree and growled at Sesshomaru who was staring at the remains of the tiger. A female tiger weakly got up and InuYasha growled at her as she came towards him.
Kagome was quiet as she watched InuYasha’s face for any sign of what he used to be. InuYasha whined as he sensed her discomfort.
