Hi this is my first and only fanfic so far so would you please be nice oh and it might just sound like a slightly altered beginning but its not it will make much more sense in chapters to come I promise thanks for the time please review and enjoy!

Chapter 1… old times

 

 

It all started long ago when a half demon tried to steal the jewels of four souls. “Inuyasha! Stop!” yelled a beautiful miko. Her attire was as it was back in feudal Japan. Long red pants and a loose long sleeved white shirt. Inuyasha froze and Kikyo the miko (priestess) looked at him for one last time (a/n: or so she thought =)) with a heavy heart and hatred in her eyes.*how dare he! Betray her like that when she thought they would spend their lives together!* so with a short breath she let loose the arrow she had ready in her arms and let it fly straight in to his heart, surely to pin him there asleep for all times.

He was thrown back against a tree as the jewel slipped out of his hands.*what…I…thought…she…loved…me…* those were his last thoughts as his shocked and now hurt eyes closed and he was gone till the ends of light and dark night and day…gone.

With her final tears she begged her sister Kaede to burn her with the jewel since she had injuries not only to he r heart but her back as well where Inuyasha had clawed her down leaving her to feel only pain. She chose to die and follow Inuyasha to heaven…or hell or wherever they might go…

 

 

“Oh my god! Mom, im late!” 16 year old Kagome Higurashi shouted down the stairs. “Honey, please hurry up!” Mrs. H shouted back trying to get her clumsy forgetful daughter out of bed and to school before she was late…again. Just as soon as the words were out of her mouth a green and white and black streak came thundering down the stairs. With a peck on her surprised mothers cheek she ran out the door and onto her old bike and was down the driveway in no time. As she biked down the long roads to school she heard the usual whistles and felt the never leaving glares, some of amazement and lust others of jealousy and annoyance. She knew it was normal for her. She was pretty while actually gorgeous. But it never went to her head. She was kevel headed and quite easy to snap of the deep end. She was really quick tempered. She was around 5”6” and 115 pounds so she was healthy skinny and muscular but definitely not a jock, she tripped a lot when she ran. She had long raven midnight black hair and dark honey brown eyes which she was told were easy to melt in *gag* she thought of all the cheesy pick up lines she had been told. She had a lovely soft looking pale skin tone easily complimenting her hair and eyes. She had long in shape legs which seemed to really attract the men *gag again* she also had nice soft smooth full lips matching her skin in a darker way. Not to mention her nicely sized chest which had been one of her many troubles with guys too. She looked ravishing in her school uniform to. A tight white shirt with a small tie, loosely hung around her slim bare neck, and a green mini skirt riding high on her thighs. She had that naughty but nice school girl look going on.*god I hate school so much homework and books…homework and books!* she realized she had left her back pack in such a hurry in the shrine with the bone eaters well. Her family owned a small shrine with her mom and brother and gramps…her dad died long ago but she only hurt a little now. It had helped make her as tough as she was today.

She ran up the small steps quietly and looked for her nap sack. There she saw the yellow leaning against the old well.*I swear I didn't leave it there* she thought as she shook her head to clear her thoughts. While she was walking toward the well she tripped an she was going to her he sack. Luckily 3 very long hands caught her…*3 long hands…?!* she looked up to her savior “ahhhhh” she caterwauled into her catchers arms as she looked up to see the face of a woman with a large scarred head and 6 arms not to mention a long long body resembling a centipedes*a giant centipedes body!* she was pulled into the well while still gripping her nap sack and braced herself to hit the hard ground. The impact didn't come though. She opened her eyes while still in the monsters arms.” you will give me the jewel girl, and if your lucky I will make your death quick “the monster said with a evil laugh in her voice*or maybe a him…?* “fine don't hand it over, I don't mind taking it on my own!” the monster said as her now sharp visible teeth quickly neared her middle.”Ahhhh” she screamed again as she threw her hands out in front. Suddenly this blinding blue silver light shot from her hands and shot back the monster while hitting off two of the arms of the demon. Suddenly she did hit the ground but the well looked different then before, newer somehow.” what the hell was that” she said out loud breathing deeply. She pulled herself out of the well after slinging her knapsack over the wall. She was shocked by what surrounded her. She was no longer in her grandpa's shrine but in …well…nowhere she was surrounded by forest and grass growing in plenty. She didn't no where to *im …lost?* maybe she could find a person to help. She didn't know how but she would get back…no matter what* she choose a direction and started off in a south east way only to hear voices up ahead.*yes! Way to choose right kags!* “hello, my name is kagome Higurashi and I nee-”she started to say but got cut off when a older man trust her spear in her face.*spear…* “your puny disguise wont hide you from us hahaha demon” the villager said.*demon...Oh like in the well.Whats he mean by disguise. Oh no he must think im a dem-*her thoughts were cut off by his voice again. “We can tell you are fake because of those clothes, your coming with us.” Two rough hands grabbed hers and dragged her all the way to village. “Kaede we found a demon, a weak one none the less” the one with the spear called to a hut in the corner. An elderly woman dressed in feudal clothes came slowly at. She stopped and gasped at kagome. “Who are ye child and why do ye look so much like me diseased sister?” the elderly woman the man had called Kaede said. *what's with the old fashioned clothes…oh no. the forests, spears and old clothes...i must be in feudal Japan…my family…* Kaede watched as tears filled the pretty lasses eyes. “Let her go ye foolish men she is a mere mortal no demon ye fools!” Kaede realized and demanded as she ushered the men to work. As she was freed kagome seemed to have a gut feeling to trust this woman, maybe she could help.*ill tell her my story* Kaede lead kagome to the hut to get her some soup and understand why she is here and why she looks so much like Kikyo. “What's your name girl?” Kaede asked softly. “Kagome… Higurashi and ...” kagome stopped pushing back a sob as she prepared to tell her the truth and hoped the kind woman would help her. “I was back in my time…2007...in Tokyo at my grandfather's shrine. I was going to get my sack from the shrine when a centipede demon pulled me in when I got away I landed here in the well at this time and I don't know if you will believe me but I swear it is all true, no lie.” Kagome said with on e very long fast breathe. Kaede just stared at her.*oh no now she thinks im a loon!* “aye, I believe you child I mean kagome and I wish to help you, stay here a s long as you wish no one will harm you and just in case your wondering I believe you are the reincarnation of my sister, Kikyo, who died almost 50 years ago to this date, that's why you traveled here.” Kaede said much slower and calmly then kagome had. As Kaede got up to leave kagome stopped her” please tell me more about your sister and …here” kagome pleaded. “Very well, we will start with the demon Inuyasha. He and Kikyo were …always in …acquaintance with each other, he is a feisty one always after the jewel, you know what the jewel of four souls is aye?” Kaede paused but continued after kagome gave a small nod. “Well one day he got to but not before he got my sister. She came with claw marks down her back as Inuyasha raced away with the jewel from the village. My sister was a miko and a powerful one and shot an arrow into Inuyasha heart pinning him to a large oak tree near the bone eaters well. He is lacked in a sleep for all eternity even today. My sister then asked to be burned with the jewel and the hopes of following Inuyasha. He is pinned over in the forest you ran out of, trapped for only my sister could have set him free” Kaede said with a sad look on her face. She turned to kagome to see a single tear run down her pale cheek. Kaede saw how caring and sweet this girl was. As she was about to apologize for her men's actions earlier a cry ran out through the village as kagome heard a familiar voice that sent shivers down her spine. “Kaede, its mistress centipede!” shouted a man as Kaede and kagome both ran towards the man. As soon as they were near mistress centipede stabbed a man straight through his heart with her long body. Kagome gasped.*he died for me, what have I done I have doomed a village to death. Im better then this I will not cower I have to help. She wants me well then ill give her what she wants!* kagome took of running toward where she had thought she had come from, towards the forest of Inuyasha.
