Centipede was following her, a little to close for comfort. Suddenly she tripped and fell

 

flat on the face. When she looked up and was face to face with a beautiful sight. A boy

 

looking around her age was pinned to an oak tree with a long arrow. He has silver hair

 

down to his waste and two sharp fangs pointing from is delicate mouth. Two soft dog

 

ears were slightly hidden under his shining hair. Even thought his red kimono jacket and pants were tight you could see hi well defined muscle waiting to be used. His most fascinating feature though was his eyes. She gasped as she found two gold orbs staring straight at her. “Why hello…Kikyo.” He sneered showing off his white teeth.

“Who…” she stuttered getting her breath back. “Don't play dumb with me Id know your smell anywhere! You smell…. Your not Kikyo...You imposter” the man sneered.*wait a demon pinned to a tree…Kikyo…this must be...Inuysaha!* hey mister inu-whateve I don't care who you are but my name is kagome, KA-GO-ME, no this Kikyo everyone talks about ok so get it right” kagome snapped at him at his imposter insult. At first Inuyasha a looked surprised***no girl has ever talked to me like that…***but he soon got over it and snapped back “I don't care who you are as long as you're not Kikyo...she was nicer…and prettier.” Kagome jumped off the deep end. “How dare you hah that went well I heard your Kikyo story and frankly I hope you like you place on that tree because your gonna be there for quite a long time or so I heard!” kagome shouted accidentally alerting the centipede to her location. The next thing kagome and Inuyasha knew was a long body with many legs was being wrapped around them bringing the arguing two tightly. “Eww...get off me wench” Inu said acting disgusted. “Like I don't want to. If you haven't noticed were not in this by choice” she snapped back accidentally breathing in his scent. He smelled good, very good. The centipede demon swooped down and grabbed kagome flung up and bite her side. As pain surged through her she tried not to cry. To everyone's surprise (Kaede and villagers had just arrived) a small shiny ball of crystal pink shot out of her. “The jewel!” Kaede shouted. “yesssss” the demon said in a hiss of a voice. Inuyasha ears were up and he struggled against the centipede but was still trapped with the sacred arrow. Kagome was once again pressed up hard against him but closer to his face this time*he's really quite cute you know…* “Inuyasha! He's awake…but this cant be he was supposed to sleep, that means kagome you really are my dead sisters recantation if you could awaken Inuyasha.” Kaede yelled across the field as they were trying to spear the doubly sized centipede that has swallowed the jewel.” Hey… can you pull this arrow out?” Inuyasha said not looking at her.” What… I don't know if I should.” Kagome said slightly frightened of what he could do unleashed. The centipede tightened its grip making it hard to breathe. “Just do it if you want to live, wench” Inuyasha said annoyed. “Fine” kagome said after thinking about it. She reached up and laced her delicate fingers around the arrow and it disintegrated in her hand. Inuyasha instantly broke free shearing the centipede to bits. “Kagome look for the glowing flesh, it holds the jewel!” Kaede shouted hurrying over as the centipede started to reconnect and come alive again. “I see it!” “Good now child go to it and extract the jewel” Kaede yelled back. Kagome walked over to the glowing flesh and ripped out the jewel only to hear the sound of cracking knuckles behind her. She jumped up, jewel in hand, to see Inuyasha look at her with an evil sneer.” Sweet little girl, gimmie the jewel and no one has to die slowly” Inuyasha said sickly. “n-no I will not back off me u puppy” she said defiantly. She dogged his sharp claws just in time, Kaede was prepared just in case and as Inuyasha focused his claws on kagome she said a chant to beads as they flew around his neck as an unbreakable necklace. “What the…” Inuyasha said as he tried unsuccessfully with all his might to snap off the necklace. “Kagome, say any word to bind ye together” Kaede yelled to the courageous girl who so resembled her dead sister. “Umm…sit boy” was wall she could think of but it worked. Inuyasha was thrown to the ground in a puff of dust. “Oww that hurt wench! What the hell did you do to me you old hag!” Inuyasha spat out looking up from his spot on the hard dirt ground. “Im sorry Inuyasha, it had to be done. You were intending on hurting lady kagome.” Lady Kaede said in her usual mono tone voice. “arg you old ugly lady…” *** lady's a stretch for her…*** “stop thinking disrespectful thoughts Inuyasha” lady Kaede said slightly annoyed. She had grown up with this half demon and knew well enough by now that he was always thinking very lowly of her in his head. “Feh” was his curt reply. * was he really trying to kill me…* kagome thought looking at the kind old woman and the handsome boy with dog features bicker. “Hehe” kagome couldn't help but giggle at the sight of the two, that and she was feeling a little after shock of all the hysterics going on around her. “What are you laughing at wench” Inuyasha said turning to this “kagome” as she said her name was, and saw her smiling at him. Something inside him turned and he felt slightly warmer.*** what a cute laugh...Ahh get out of my head you perverted thoughts…was I really going to hurt her…am I such a monster…*** Inuyasha's head was turning so many thoughts over he didn't notice kagome slowly approaching him. She took her hand back and punched for all she was worth. “Oww, damn wench what was that for?” Inuyasha said as he got over his shock and snapped back into reality once again to look at this cute miko's face glaring angrily at him. *** that actually hurt, she's stronger then she looks…not that ill let her know it!*** *oww my hand hurts, he got muscle everywhere…wonder what he looks like without his…eww im sick he tried to kill me remember!* Kaede stared at the quarreling pair noticing their silence and thought full looks. “Childs braver then I thought” Kaede muttered to herself as she was still marveling Kagome's punch to Inuyasha's gut. “WELL YUR WEAK MIKO!” Inuyasha shouted down at her as she glared right back up at him. He was trying to save some face, pathetically. “Humph” was all he got as a reply as she turned on her heel and headed in the direction of the village. He silently followed not being able to leave the jewel. Kaede started after as did the village men seeing as Inuyasha's threat was over, most of them hummed all the way back.
