This is another story I will probably delete lol but whatever! This story takes place after Naraku and the pairs are Sesshomaru/ Kagome, Inuyasha/Rin, Miroku/Sango And others that I do not know of….yet!

It was sunny and the breeze was blowing softly on a warm summers night. Rin smiled to herself, Sesshomaru has been looking at her all day. She silently rejoiced as he watched her, hoping that he would admit the feeling he had for her. Soon.

She then heard silent foot steps, and her heart began to thunder in her chest. It was Sesshomaru! What was he going to tell her? Was he going to ask her to be his mate…whatever that meant…

“ Rin.” Rin’s eyes became emotionless as she saw the small change on his face. His brows were pulled down just a little bit, almost unnoticeable to anyone else but Rin. Not Good.

“Yes Lord Sesshomaru?” She couldn’t just call him Sesshomaru, it was disrespectful. But she stood up and bowed and slapped a cool, fake smile, just for him.

“ I need to speak with you.” he said his voice becoming unsure.

“What about my Lord?” Rin still had a smile on her face, only it had shrunk a little bit.

“I will be taking a human mate, do you stand by me?” Rin’s fake smile almost crumbled as he spoke the words that clearly implied that she was not his chosen. So she did the only thing she could think of, she fell to the floor to hide her despair and bowed her head so it touch the ground.

“Without a doubt my Lord…who is she my lord?” Her voice sounded like his, cold and detached. Some thing she learned from him long ago.

“Her name is Kagome. She will be moving in mid afternoon tomorrow.”

“Ah, your brothers women. It will be an honor to have her with us.” Rin said coldly and she held back tears knowing that he could smell them any way. Not only that he could smell the way she was feeling.

“She is not my brothers women she has been MINE for many years now…she had unfinished business with my brother.” he said, ice covering every word

She heard him come closer and crouch down, “Why do you cry Rin?” a simple question, but he lifted her head up and her tears crusaded down her cheeks.

“ I’m just so happy for you my Lord!” she lied knowing that he could smell it.

“ I’m sure. Go to your Room, Rin, it is late.”

“Yes, Sesshomaru.” With that she stood up and walked with her head held high, and a sob choking her as her heart snapped into many pieces.

“ Shippo?” a soft voice called out.

“ Yeah?”

“I’m leaving tomorrow Shippo.”

“ I know. Pops told me a week ago.”

“Shippo please…wont you come with me?”

“ Kagome please…wont you stay with us?” he asked back.

“ You know I can’t Shippo…I love him” she sighed.

“ Same here.”

“ I’m sorry Shippo. But why? Why wont you come with me?”

“ I don’t like Sesshomaru. He’s always talking shit about Pa. I can’t live with that. And he’s tearing my second family a part.” ‘And breaking pops heart.’ he thought sadly as he though of his father holding his tears back as Kagome told him she loved his own brother.

“Shippo…I’m soo sorry…I…I…I’m always going to be your mama. You can come to me for anything. I love you.” she said as she cried into her hands.

“ Thanks Kagome, but I think me, Pops, Sango, Kohaku, and Miroku will be fine…actually it would be easier if you just leave right now.” he said with a soft voice and cold eyes.

She sobbed harder and slid to the floor of the hut as Shippo stood, now taller then her after the 10 years they had spent together, and walked out of the hut. The day they had defeated Naraku the jewel had given then something they didn’t imagine: Matching life spans. It had surprised them when the powerful Miko gave them the wish but then disappeared. Soon after Kaede’s death, she died peacefully in her sleep, Inuyasha and the crew moved into the forest with. She was already in love with Sesshomaru by then and had told them all how she felt. They didn’t say anything, and Inuyasha had stopped speaking to her. He only spoke o her when he really had to…like to duck because an Ax was coming to her head. She stood an walked out, Sango was giving her a sad look

“ Are you okay?”

“I’m fine…where did Shippo go?”

“ He said he was going to find Inuyasha.”

“No he wasn’t…I was on that tree.” Inuyasha said talking only to Sango as he pointed to a tree over Sango’s home only a few yards away from Inuyasha’s hut.

“ Then were did he go?” Sango asked slightly peeved that he still wouldn’t speak to Kagome.

Inuyasha then did something that he learned Sango hated…or more like liked too much…he came closer and looked under his bangs and smiled charmingly and whispered hotly in Sango’s ear “ he went to see Soten…lets just say he’s relieving some…stress…” he backed off and smiled with one tooth popping out.

Sango flushed, annoying Kagome, and smiled slyly.

“Oh really? And how would you know that?” she giggled. Miroku saw the whole thing and smiled. He didn’t care if Inuyasha flirted with Sango, He and Inuyasha were very amused at Sango’s bashful reactions. Plus it was a weakness in Sango’s hard shell, though Kagome isn’t very fond of it, but neither He or Inuyasha seemed to care. And Sango didn’t seem to mind. What Kagome is doing is almost unforgivable. And he walked over to them glancing at Kagome Somewhat coldly and wondered why she didn’t leave a long time ago…

“How? I can Smell it on his clothes and he always has that silly little grin on his face when he comes back. Shit that little brat gets more then I do!”

Kagome stiffened.

Inuyasha smiled.

Sango and Miroku snickered.

“You actually get some? From who?” Miroku wiggled his eyes brows.

“Keh, ask Sango. She talks to her more then I do…”

“AYA!!?!?!?! No way! She’s a cat demon!”

“And?”

“You’re a dog!”

“Thank you, but don’t you think Cat and dogs should kiss and make up?” he gave a cocky grin.

“Wait you don’t talk to her?” Kagome asked.

Inuyasha looked at her blankly but smiled softly, surprising all of them.

“No. I follow the 3 F’s…Find’em, Fuck’em, Forget’em, she seems to follow it too. Religiously.”

“ That’s my Pops! Hurry up Soten!” Shippo said as he hulled a huge cart filled with things behind him.

“ I’m coming! Geez your soo pushy!” A strong female voice called out.

“ Hey Soten!” All of them called out. She waved back as she broke threw the bushes.

“What’s all that?” Kagome asked Shippo.

Soten blushed, “Um, that’s my stuff…I’m kinda moving in…I hope you don’t mind.”

“Not at all! I’m leaving tonight anyway!” she said as she squeezed a fang that hung from her neck till it glowed green.

“So soon?” Sango asked sadly.

“Yeah, sorry.”

“It’s okay.”

“Hey where’s Kohaku?”

Inuyasha smiled again.

“Escorting you mate here.”

“What I just gave him the signal! How can he get here so quickly!?!”

“He’s been coming for a while.”

“Why didn’t you tell me?”

“I thought you felt since your leaving a day early.”

Kagome glared. He smiled back. Sesshomaru came through the forest and Inuyasha backed off.

“Kagome…”

“I’m coming hold on…Hey Rin!” Kagome called out.

She didn’t say anything but nodded. Sesshomaru gave her an annoyed look but brought his attention to the demon slayers brother who was chatting away with Rin. She seemed happy to see him. A little too happy. He had grown tall and built with thick arms and tight muscles under his delicate skin. his hair was tied up in a long pony tail and fell down his shoulders. His freckles seemed grew more numerous and his skin perfect a tan color. Rin, Blushed every time he gave her a flattering remark but brushed it off with a quiet laugh and then he gave her a “friendly” hug.

“Brother.”

“Sesshomaru.”

“Where do you flee to brother?” a small smirk touched his lips.

“I don’t flee any where. I’m going to get more of Soten’s things because I know she has more shit waiting in the forest. If I’m not here when you guys leave tell Kagome I said bye.” with that he hoped away into the forest. But then came back with an annoyed look “And stop give Kohaku dirty looks because he likes Rin,” Kohaku’s brows frowned in confusion and shrugged towards Rin “And you know that he can please her the way you want to.” with that he hoped back into the forest to get Soten’s things.

Kagome had frozen at the door of the large hut. She was looking dead at Rin. Rin glared back much to everyone’s surprise.

“Rin.” Sesshomaru said harshly. She flinched and rolled her eyes at Kagome.

“ It’s okay Sess it’s fine.” she giggled at the pet name and he rolled his eyes.

Rin pretended to gag.

“Well Rin,” Kohaku said with a fake seductive voice and smiled “ I’ll see you lat-er…” he said as he pretended to go in for a kiss until Sesshomaru’s voice cut in “Rin!”

“Oops! Sorry Kohaku! See you later!!! Bye guys!!” with that she hugged him tightly and gave him a kiss on the edge of his lips. His eye brows shot up and she winked and taped his nose, then ran to catch up to Sesshomaru and Kagome.
