( three years later)
Rin clutched her pillow in her arms as she silently cried into her pillow. This was a normal thing now, so no one paid mind to her anymore. She was glad, though, the first two weeks Kagome had moved in were horrible, Even Sesshomaru was concerned about her health, she had stopped eating. Sleeping. Talking. And the most painful of all (to him) she had stopped Smiling. She was the walking dead, and she didn’t care and he didn’t seem to know why. Kagome did. She knew Rin had feelings for lord Sesshomaru and yet she did nothing to ease the young girls pain. She hugged, kissed, touched him in front of her. But after a month Rin stopped sobbing loudly. It only displeased Sesshomaru more. So she cried silently and feel asleep in the far corner of her room. Her maids would come in and sooth her. They seemed to understand her heart ache.
The morning light hit her eyes and she squinted as she opened her hazel eyes and looked around her. Her maids were looking at her sadly. Rin smiled and they fluttered over to her happy to see the smile that brought the castle back to life. Though she was only about 19 but she seemed only 15..thanks to the sacred jewel of four souls. She would stop aging for a while. She got dressed and took a bath. She went to the dining room to eat breakfast.
She stopped at the door an tucked a stray hair behind her ear. She walked in slowly, with caution. Yesterday she had found Sesshomaru kissing Kagome. She did not cry, she did not make a sound but she did something that Sesshomaru knew to well. She put on the cold, indifferent mask that he wore daily, that told him that she was hurting, something was hurting her and she didn’t want him to know, though she gave herself away with the mask she copied from him. He immediately pulled away much to Kagome’s disappointment. He stood and almost rushed to her side and asked her what was wrong. She told him there was nothing that he could change, he had made his choice. Her dead voice stunned him and her words baffled him, though his face did not change the way he stood said it all. She sat down and ate after greeting Kagome with a short nod, as always. Kagome sighed and told Sesshomaru to come and sit down, but he shook his head and said he had work to do. Leaving Kagome and Rin alone. They said nothing and Rin was the first to leave for one of her many classes.
Sesshomaru was a good distance away from Kagome and Kagome was staring into her food.
“Good morning Rin.” Kagome said in a tired voice.
Rin nodded.
“Rin.”
Rin glanced at him and nodded as well.
Sesshomaru growled at her. Rin sat besides him and gave him a confused look.
“What is wrong with you?”
“Nothing my Lord.”
“Do not lie to me.” his voice icy.
“You will not like my answer.” she answered coolly.
“ So be it. Answer me. Do not make This Sesshomaru repeat himself.”
“I…I…I feel for you more then I should.” she said her voice becoming shaky.
“…very well…We must find you a Mate that will change this.” with that he stood and walked out of the room.
Rin blinked back her tears and looked around the room. She had decorated it. It was all dark polished wood with red, gold, and green stain marks on its surface in the shapes of different types of trees. The table was low with red silk pillows with gold trimming tucked under. The room was large with many guards on the side. All with red, gold, and white kimonos, with matching pants and shiny metal armors.
Rin turned to Kagome and with soulless eyes she said with an eerily calm voice, “ I hate you“
With that, Rin too, left Kagome alone, and she sighed. “What are we going to do with you Rin?”

“Shippo…what did you do to Soten? She has been pouting all day…” Miroku asked as he watch Soten trail behind Inuyasha, much to his distaste.
“I didn’t do anything…she’s the one who wants kits!” Shippo said frustrated.
He was tall and handsome. The splitting image of his father. His now golden hair fell below his shoulder blades and his jaw jutted out and his large eyes didn’t seem so childish as his face grew into them, now making him even more dazzling. He was slim and well built, like Inuyasha but smaller…Inuyasha had grown more wider on his shoulders and built more muscle over the years. Same as Kohaku.
“She wants babies? Already?”
“Yes she does. But she doesn’t want them so we can become mates! She wants them so I have to stay with her! Like I would ever leave her!”
“Has she seen you flirting with the village girls? That might be it. Though I don’t see how that’s possible….I’ve taught you all the tricks in the book…” Miroku said and wiggled his eye brows at Shippo. That is until a rock came sailing through the air and hitting Miroku right between the eyes.
“I can’t believe you just said that.” Sango growled.
“ Now my love, don’t be so rash! I was just joking!” he yelled as he ran way from his soon to be wife, whom by the way was about to swing a huge boomerang at his head.
“Just Joking?!!” Sango cried out.
Inuyasha Smiled and called out, “Careful Sango, Don’t fall. You might hurt your pup.”
Both stopped cold. The looked at Inuyasha’s grinning face and looked at each other. Sango smiled hugely and dropped Hiraikotsu and ran into Miroku’s arms as he stood stunned.
“Are you sure Inuyasha?”
“Keh, I’ve been sure for two months.”
“What?” Asked a sweaty Kohaku as he walked in to the clearing in which they lived in.
“I’m to have a child!!” Sango beamed and ran to Kohaku’s waiting arms.
He smiled and snickered “So…who’s child is it? Inuyasha’s or Miroku’s?”
Sango punched him in the gut.
“Keh” Inuyasha blushed.
“Mine of course!!!” Miroku Beamed.
“You sure Miroku?” Soten teased.
“Be quiet you two! I must start preparing!” he said as he ran into the forest.
“Where is he going?” Sango asked confused.
“No clue” Soten and Kohaku said.
“To make a crib” Both Inuyasha and Shippo snickered, until, that is two rocks met their heads. Both Shippo and Inuyasha’s heads snapped to their right and just in time to see an Ex monk run into the forest.
Inuyasha and Shippo looked at each other and they both blew “ MIROKU!!!!!!!!”
Sango laughed and touched her stomach and Kohaku and Sango smiled and side to them “ What are we going to do with you two?”
