Chapter 1

 

 

“Hey Kagome, over hear!” Songo yelled through the Cafeteria. Songo watched as Kagome walked right past the table where Inuyasha and Miroku sat. “Damn! I thought I told that perverted monk to tell Inuyasha to say hello to Kagome!” she said to herself. Kagome sat down next to her and started eating.

 

Miroku, Songo, and Shippo had been trying for 3 years to get Inuyasha and Kagome to remember but they always failed. Kagome and Inuyasha never talked to each other. Even though Songo and Miroku always tried, like telling them to go to a certain place. One of them always goes off with another person thinking it's the person Miroku or Songo chose for their blind dates.

 

Miroku looked over at Songo whom was glairing at him. He mouthed the words `I forgot' and shrugged. Inuyasha saw him and he asked “What's wrong?”

“Uh…..well….” suddenly Miroku thought of a good idea. “I like this girl, you see her? Over there, her names Songo.” Miroku pointed to Songo. Songo caught onto his plan and asked Kagome to smile at the table with the guy with white hair and bandanna. She did as she was told then asked why. “Uh…because the 2 guys over there are checking us out.”

 

“Oh” Kagome replied then resumed eating. Miroku then in a very nervous voice asked. “Hey Inuyasha? Do you mind going to ask her on a date with me?” Inuyasha was surprised. “What? No!” he replied then turned back to the girls. “Well then will you at least go with me to ask her?” Miroku asked and put on a pouty face. Inuyasha grumbled then got up and walked over to the girls' table with Miroku.

 

“Hello ladies!” Miroku said happily and sat down next to Songo. `He needs help my ass!!' Inuyasha thought and watched Miroku and Songo talk. Then he spotted the other girl staring at him. He nervously waved and turned away. `He is really cute' Kagome thought and continued listening to Miroku and Songo talk while glancing often at the handsome long white haired man.

 

“Uh, we need to talk privately somewhere else so…uh…we'll be right back.” Songo said fast then pulled Miroku over to the restrooms. “Miroku do you really think this will work?” Songo asked and Miroku just smiled and pointed to Kagome and Inuyasha. Songo turned around and saw that Kagome and Inuyasha were laughing and talking. “God, that was fast!!” Songo said and they both watched them from a distance.

 

After the bell rang Kagome said goodbye to her two brand new friends and walked to class with Songo. “So, you've met Inuyasha?”

 

“Yeah, he is very funny and very kind.” Kagome said and blushed. “Do you like him?” Songo asked and Kagome looked at her surprised. “Of course not! I only just met the guy although I do kinda think of us as good friends…” Kagome blushed again and hurried into class. `Well it's a start' Songo thought and followed Kagome.

“How did you like Kagome?” Miroku asked Inuyasha while cheating of his paper. “She's cool.” He said and pushed Miroku away. “That's all?” Miroku asked and Inuyasha turned away. `Well at least they know each other' Miroku thought and went to his locker. “Oh, and I asked Songo out, you have to come to though because Kagome's coming.” Inuyasha huffed and said fine. Then they both walked into class.

“YOU WHAT?!” Kagome yelled at Songo who was sitting on Kagome's bed. “Well, Miroku asked me on a date and I got a little scared so I asked if we could double date. He said yeah and I said that you and Inuyasha could come. What, you don't want to go?” Kagome turned and looked in her mirror and said “Well I do want to go, but why does it have to be with Inuyasha? I thought I told you that I only think of him as a friend…” Kagome blushed. “Well if he's `just a friend' why do you blush when talking about him?” Songo asked and Kagome sat on the bed next to her. “I…well, he looks kinda like someone that I remember from maybe 3 years ago…” Songo sat, looking at Kagome in surprise. `How is it that she remembers a little bit about him, but it has been three years that we have tried so hard to get them to even look at each other?' Kagome saw Songo staring at her and she asked “Its stupid right?”

 

“Oh, no of course not….maybe he IS the person from your memory” Songo said, trying hard not to give it all away because it would just lead to having Kagome's memory erased again. “Maybe…” Kagome replied and stood up.

 

“Let's go get the sleeping bags ready, I am really tired.” Kagome yawned and Songo said “Well the dates tomorrow, we will get ready in the morning ok? I brought a couple sun dresses for you and I to choose from” Kagome nodded then unfolded her sleeping bag on the living room floor. They got into there own sleeping bags and Kagome turned off the light. “By the way” Kagome asked “Where are we going?”

Songo giggled and replied “The Amusement Park!”
