From demons to dementors

Unfortunately Mrs. Black was unharmed and had stopped screeching, now she was yelling at every thing and every one, especially Sirius. With a curse, Sirius ripped off the smoldering curtains and confronted his mother's portrait. Sirius prepared him self to confront his mother

“WILL YOU SHUT UP!” he yelled, momentarily silencing Mrs. black. Cautiously they all uncovered their ears

“Sis!” souta ran over to kagome's side

“Sis, your bleeding!” he cried, kagome rolled her eyes, reaching up to wipe the blood dripping down the side of her neck. She took her hand away and wiped the blood on her pants then grimly looked at the wide eyed wizards

“Damn” she swore softly

“Why didn't you cover your ears?” tonks asked worriedly, she had this thing with the sight of blood, always made her a bit faint. Kagome sighed

“Amateurs” she growled

“If I covered my ears, then my hands wouldn't be free, what if we were under attack? I don't know about you and your magic but I need my hands free at all times” kagome ignored their comments weather they be positive or negative. She turned her attention to Sirius and the large yelling picture

“Odd” she said quietly. That's when Mrs. black noticed her, kagome was now directly in front of the portrait

“Who are you?” Mrs. black asked

“Or should I say what are you?” she smiled, looking at the still open fan in kagome's right hand. Kagome smiled back and answered

“I could ask the same” they were both greatly amused

“Now where have my manors gone? I am the late Mrs. black and this is all that's left of me, my body perished many years ago but before I died I made this” she spoke pleasantly

“I don't believe my ears! Some one is having a nice conversation with my mum, I never thought it was possible” Sirius was amazed

“I believe, my old friend, that you have greatly underestimated kagome and her talents” lupin said, equally awed

“She didn't even cover her ears, she really is ready for anything…unlike us” tonks said sadly

“Totally bad ass” Ron grinned

“Now, my dear, I believe it's you turn to answer” Mrs. black addressed her. Kagome did a small bow

“Kagome” she said

“And do you have a last name kagome?” Mrs. black asked. Kagome smirked

“Many” she answered

“Ohhh I see, well how about the one that you told all these fools” kagome nodded

“Higurashi” she said

“Hmmmmm, Kagome Higurashi….sounds familiar…you know dear, in my youth, I did a great deal of study on old stories, you wouldn't happen to have heard the story of the legendary jewel of four souls would you?” Mrs. black asked, fully interested

“Ahhhhh the shikon no tama, now that's a story I haven't heard in a while, in fact, I believe it is quite an old tale…quite old indeed” kagome smirked

“So you have heard of it,” Mrs. black grinned

“And what do you make of it kagome Higurashi” she asked

“I think it is a wonderfully sad tale but that's it, it's only a tale, made up to scare little children, besides there is no such thing as demons and cursed jewels” kagome's eyes were dangerous, a warning clearly written on her face

“Of course, my mistake, it is, after all, just a story, besides she was last seen over five hundred years ago and you, my dear, are just a mortal” Mrs. black smirked

“It was a pleasure to meet you lady kagome” she gave a small bow

“Maybe you can teach these idiots a thing or two of the way things were…oh! And give my best to the wind witch, kagura, next time you see her, she'll know who I am” Mrs. black faded out with a chuckle and left kagome in a room full of curious and confused wizards. With a frown on her face Kagome turned around and closed the still open fan with a loud crack!

Too much information was given away in that conversation…good thing they didn't catch most of it she thought angrily

“It's not possible! She just bowed to you!” Sirius pointed at kagome. Kagome just pocketed her fan and walked over to souta

“Gome, your still bleeding!” souta fretted

“Really souta, its no big deal” she sighed and wiped more blood off her neck

“My ear's just burst again, it's really not a problem” she pushed his hands away

“Not a problem!…AGAIN!” souta ran circles around her to keep her from leaving his sight.

“You shouldn't be walkin' around here with blood leaking out of yer head and all” mad eye moody limped over with his wand raised

“Your right about the blood, it might attract…things, but I don't need you magic, it's already healed” she took a handkerchief out of her sleeve and dabbed the blood until it was mostly gone

“Impossible” lupin gasped

“What was that fan?”

“Why did Mrs. black act the way she did?'

“How did you heal so fast?”

“What was that story about the jewel something or other?”

“Why did she address you as lady kagome?”

“Who is kag-ohhh-ra, the wind witch?"

The questions when on and on, kagome couldn't even tell who asked them any more, It was just one big blur. She couldn't take it any more so she yelled

“ENOUGH!” kagome glared at all of them

“Souta, time for bed” she briefly glanced at the group of wizards

“Don't make me go through the trouble of killing you, so, keep my brother safe until I return” she turned back around and vanished

“WAIT!” souta yelled but he just missed her, not like she would have stopped any way

“Where did she go?” tonks asked

“She didn't apparate, we would have felt it” mr.weasley was amazed

“Is it some kind of muggle trick?” he asked

“No” sighed souta

“It's a kagome trick”

“Well, now that she is gone, we will take advantage of this moment and you will tell us what the hell has happened this night!” moody growled and limped back into the living room, his magic eye rolled around wildly. The rest of the group followed and sat around the fire, in various chairs and sofas.

“Now, explain what is going on” Sirius grumbled

“I can't tell you much…” souta started

“What! What do you mean you can't tell us much?” Sirius yelled

“Well, some things kagome will just have to tell you and other things I don't know my self, she will kill me If I tell you guys too much” souta looked sadly at the floor, he didn't like being caught between his friends and his sister.

“Kill you? Ha! I doubt that, if anything she will scratch at you and ruffle your hair a bit, but kill you? Come on!” lupin looked doubtfully at Sirius

“No, she really will kill me, like with her swords or worse” he shuddered

“That was the agreement we made when she came back home, I asked if she would tell me what happened … when…when she was gone and she agreed, but, on one condition, that she would have to kill me if I ever told too much of her past to the wrong people” souta still looked sad that he had to pick sides, so to speak.

“Well, while she is gone…to where ever she has gone to, why don't you answer the questions that you can” lupin said diplomatically

“ Ok, so what's up with the whole cold shoulder thing?” Ron asked first

“She doesn't trust you yet and until she does, I would get used to that from her” souta smiled, thinking of how scared his friends got when kagome glared at them

“Why is it that you never told us you had a sister?” Hermione asked

“Well” souta paused

“Talking about her was…and still is dangerous and I had to keep her existence a secret over here in England”

“Why?” lupin asked

“Well back home in Japan, every one thought she was dead, so I didn't think it was a good Idea to start talking about my supposedly dead sister” souta tried to explain

“Oh…well why did you have to do that” Harry was confused

“That's something she will have to tell you”

“Ok…what's with the swords” tonks asked

“Protection or something, she never takes them off…ever” souta smiled

“Protection from what?” lupin asked

“Demons, monsters, spirits, undead…who knows what other things are after her” souta stopped smiling

“Wait a second, didn't kagome just say that those things weren't real and even if they were, why are they after her?” Hermione pondered aloud

“Well…she lied… all of those things do exist…I should know…”souta mumbled the last part

“Why did she lie?” mr.weasley asked

“Again, something, she might tell you with time” souta sighed

“Ok, about what happened with Mrs. black…what's a miko?” Ron asked

“ A miko is a priestess, a woman of holy power” souta explained

“Holy power! Like you” Harry yelled

“No, not like me at all, she has more power then I have ever felt, you're lucky you guys cant sense it, there's just so much of it, it's overwhelming, and I know that she is masking most of it …she is more powerful then you can possibly imagine, I may not be very skilled as a monk but I can sense her power level and it is un heard of…I don't even know how to explain her power…because it feels…it feels off…I don't know, I have to talk to kagome about it but something just doesn't feel right” souta trailed off

“What's a seekon no taama?” Ron asked

“the shikon no tama is a cursed jewel also know as the jewel of four souls I really don't know much about it, it's suppose to be a myth, a legend. Kagome knows more then I do” souta wasn't sure how much info to give out

“It sounded as if one exists or did exist but what did she say…it was last seen over 500 years ago?” Hermione tried to piece together the puzzle

“Is kagome involved with it?” lupin asked quietly, looking directly at souta

“NO! That's impossible…” souta yelled

“Is it?” lupin said more to him then to the others

“I know it's off topic but, how old is she any way?” mrs.weasley wondered

“She's …” souta began

“That's enough questions for tonight” kagome said form the rafters in the ceiling

“How the hell did you get up there?” Sirius stood up, surprised

“Sis, your back! Where did you go? Are you alright?” souta fretted

“I'm fine” she said simply, she looked around the room and jumped down. Kagome then gave them all a look that promised death if any one asked any more questions

“Souta” kagome addressed him

“Yeah?” he replied

“I believe I said Bed” she said with a glare to Sirius who was try to get a word in

“But I wanted to stay up and talk to my friends” he wined

“Bed” she said with more force and her eyes flashed red

“Fine” he got up and dragged his feet out of the room, Harry, Ron and giney followed. Mrs.weasley got up and rushed after them. Hermione stayed down stairs, she wanted to learn everything she could on this mysterious matter. Kagome's eyes followed them the whole way up the stairs

“Kagome...” lupin said softly

“Do not use my name so familiarly, Mr. Lupin,” she growled

“You have yet to earn that privilege” she spat

“That's no way to speak to you elders” moody stood up and faced kagome. Kagome started to laugh…and laugh…and laugh

“It seems you are in for more of a ride then I first thought” she grinned evilly
